I also like how Juan said she went off and left Napoleon there alone . :(

That was a great point because its like saying she left his "baby" alone. Made her out to be super cold/inhumane yet again!. No human would leave a "baby", human child or fur child, all alone. Loved that he said that! I loved that he took the time to consciously show the jury that even Naps was a victim of this *censored!!!!!!!* I LOVE MY JUANCHO!!!

Question: Did the Judge already give the jury instructions?

yes minor... they are ready to head out and DISCUSS! as soon as nurmi is done and juan puts the last punch on.

I hope juan plays the no jury will convict statement!!!

Is there any chance past victims of Jodi can speak out during sentencing phases?

Does anyone think Nurmi will be limited to the five hours we've heard about?
Trying to make sure I don't get too close to the computer or TV too early LOLOLOL I want to get home just in time for JM.... strategic planning is now my forte, thanks to this trial :)

Shudder at the thought of Nurmi for five hours. I know he goes slow, but what could he possibly say past an hour I'm wondering. He better stay off the pedophile lies as not to rile. I guess if he talks about candy products, it could last five hours.

Eat your candy now before Nurmi ruins it. :giggle:

Nurmi needs to put his big boy pants on and get on with it! The jury haven't taken a day off for a migraine or being sick, he certainly can suck it up and proceed.

I totally agree, Angel -- but admit it -- If you were Nurmi, wouldn't you feel a bit sick after what our wonderful Juan just did? KN has got to stand up, walk over to the podium and try to rebut or at least take some of the sting off what JM said. Is there one thing he can say that will help that ~client~ of his?

Think about it folks -- there is nothing, nothing, nothing.

true story. i actually remember the last time i cried. loooonnnggg time ago ( i'm a guy,
never cried much, really ), but today early they showed Hillary just start crying, i got a
big lump in my throat and started crying. i have watched this trial from the start, seen all
family crying, but boy that look on her face was so sad. i don't express myself well writing,
i know you people get me though. :blushing:

:rocker: That was awesome! Perjury charges layed on the table I would suspect.

I don't have a clue .. I think it's got more to do with the way she acted on the stand ..

My thinking is that things got way heated and she called Juan a 'jerk' or something .. remember that motion about prosecutial misconduct and how JSS said something along the lines of 'the prosecutor was justified' in her ruling? I think he tore strips off her .. I can't wait to read it one day :)

Carried over from last thread. Sorry I'm late with it! And I haven't read the new posts yet either, but I'm getting there :)

I don't know Arizona cases, but I have seen kidnapping used for felony murder during crimes where you don't generally think of kidnapping. Not letting the victim leave is considered kidnapping (depending on local statute, probably). So a stabbing is usually kidnapping, because the victim isn't allowed to leave.eta: link to post I quoted

Yes, IIRC, I am pretty that is what got OJ in the end..the weapon in addition to not allowing the victims to leave the hotel room in las Vegas, hence aggravated kidnapping. His defense team filed a motion to quash the the "kidnapping" portion of his indictment. I remember they televised that motion hearing.

I think you express yourself eloquently!

Or contempt? One thing we do know .. her days of testifying are over .. any lawyer will be able to rip her credibility to shreds in any upcoming trials or custody hearings.

All alone with his papa deceased in his locked up bedroom. Animals know, especially, beloved pets.

Thank you for sharing that :) For someone who doesn't express themselves well with writing, you did just fine :) That was a very touching post :) Please post more!

I think she wanted the car to appear "local" and in Arizona you only have one plate on your car. (Correct me if I'm wrong anyone) So she removed it while she was about to enter Arizona and would be leaving her car around his house.

I also wanted to ask if anyone noticed the 2 white cars- one in the driveway and one in the garage. I wondered if Jodi preferred the 'white' rental car as it was less conspicuous to the neighbors. Then in addition to this, she takes off the rear license plate while the car is in the driveway and reattaches it after the murder- either on purpose upside down or in a panic upside down. Wasn't sure on this one. I just really thought the rental car agency offered her white and that is what she really would have chosen as it would have appeared to fit in with the cars at Travis' house. ??? IDK???

ITA! At one point the look on Willmott's face was like..."DAYUM! She really DID plan to kill him!" I swear she looked like a lightbulb went on above her head!

I wish (and I know it will not happen) that we would have a scene like the last scene "In Justices for All" with Al Pacino, where the DF would say "my f'n client is guilty." That would be my perfect ending and such a jab to JA.

I am heading over to the poll to change my vote.. I FOR SURE am reading here and muting.

seriously. I do not kid here at all.

At this point, I have hard timing making up my mind about which one bothers me more. I thought it couldnt get worse than Nurmi, but then Willmott got up again for a while and her whiny manner just drove me nuts.

Another of my favs from Juan is when he said "He's no threat to yooouuu!" and "God's not here!"
