It's interesting how TS seems so sure (as portrayed in her interview) that GS is alive and will come home and fully exonerate her. Why does she 'know' that? Has she no concern as to why he's missing, what he's doing, who took him or where did he go? She expressed concern for none of that (at least in the video that was aired).

Frustration building. . . . . . . ..!

I hope GS is located and we hear of an arrest... soon.

El Paso county is 2,130 sq miles and so far the search has been contained to that area.

"El Paso County covers 2,130 square miles in east central Colorado, situated between the southern end of the Front Range and the Great Plains"

ALL MOO

People were always going to speculate, but TS added more fuel to the fire and for no reason. I think she truly thought that the stuff she releases or post would help her but it did not. If there is a regular video of a child crying for doing something bad, and afraid to get in trouble, I see nothing suspicious or heartbreaking for that matter. But in the context of him being missing then that video looks worse than it actually is. The focus on the public is now split 50-50 on finding Gannon and digging into her life. What a mess.
While I agree this is a mess, or at least the social media part of it. IMO, it is her actions that caused the digging in to her. Of course people are going to have questions about the last person that seen a missing child, but her cousin it interview, SM meltdowns, airing LH personal business, posting videos, and the s**t storm is caused after have all been a direct consequence of her actions. Absolutely the most important thing is finding Gannon and every hour that passes my heart hurts a little more, but it has been HER ACTIONS that has taken attention away from Gannon and straight to her, not just random internet people digging into her past.

When did the sister say that Gannon "fell"?
did you skip the words "I think"? I never said that the sister, to be specific the little sister, for certain and on public record said he did. Im forming an opinion based on believing she probably was questioned and if he fell as I said in my theory she probably would have told someone.

Sorry, I actually meant to say exactly what you are saying, she has been the reason for all this attention on her.

I'm working with limited time trying to race through the pages. Were trained ground scent search dogs (Bloodhounds) brought in? If so, what did they indicate?

Not bloodhounds but there were pictures on Twitter of a SAR k9 being brought used in the search. I didn't see them talk about any search results yet.

I'm a grown adult and I've been brought to tears in conversations with a manipulative, gaslighting person, especially when tired. (Not anymore, though, since recognizing what was happening....but a kid doesn't have that experience.)

Yeah no way can a child withstand or comprehend or know how to cope with that. It chills me to think what this sweet little boy might have gone through. What wasn’t recorded.

Yes, she was probably the only person they could find who was willing to defend her.Too bad she seemed so unsure of whether or not she could have been involved. Jmo
With apologies to R. Bloch, author of Psycho, here's what I got from the babysitter interview:

Like "They'll see and they'll know and they'll say, 'Why, she wouldn't even harm a fly.' Or maybe not, like I really don't know."

IOW to me her comments were a wash. But maybe that's the best supporter of LS the reporter could find? MOO.

Am I the only one that can barely make out anything from the video of them getting into the truck?? People have been saying he looks like he's staggering or hesitant or whatever but I can barely see a thing.

When you get a dog hit in one location, it usually means that the subject ended up being transported away in a vehicle, so there is no scent trail to follow. A good example is the Jacob Wetterling case. That is somewhat problematic as it can indicate that other actors are involved in the subject going missing. Having worked with the FBI in the past, I hazard a guess that they are watching the birth mothers home and all routs of egress between. The lack of information from LE after an initial flurry of activity and requests for assistance can mean that they have a good idea of what happened. Proving it is a whole other story and where forensics gets critical. As with any case, there will be leaks. Be ready to jump on them, verify them and do some digging.

There are 2000+ children reported missing in the US daily. We only hear about a fraction of them. In this case, LS's bizarre behavior and SM presentation of self have made this a bit more popular. Plus, we have lots of WSers who are in Colorado and immediately posted here about this case.

Children may stay in the news slightly longer than missing adults, but most never make it to "world news." Or to the news in general.

That's why WS is a major source of information. This case will get some coverage if an arrest is made, as no matter who it is, it will be connected to all the stuff that's already gone on.

Even WS doesn't handle 2000+ missing kids per day (and in fact, a large percentage of them will be recovered - often having left on their own - after a day or two).

That's up to 800,000 missing kid cases per year - of which only about 115 deemed stranger abductions. The rest are runaways. About 400 children are murdered by parents annually IIRC.

Several of us have been active in contacting media on this case, due to WS.

I didn't see much either. I should probably watch it again with my glasses on and on a big monitor instead of my phone or iPad.

That is a trained air scent dog. Very good on a search where the subject is in reasonable proximity to the place last seen. It can only follow the scent cone from the subject to the dog when the wind is blowing towards the dog. Need a ground scent dog, but at this point, too late if it was not done before the area was contaminated.
