Found one place for text alert for general Denver breaking news from their CBS station: http://denver.cbslocal.com/text-alerts/

I plan to sign up for two or three; with the Arias case, I got the text alert 'verdict in' from one station about an hours after the verdict had been read.,

I know what you mean. Sometimes they are not as timely as we would like.

The thing I dont like about the alerts is once I got signed up I started getting alerts for every breaking news story in their city (not mine...LOL).

There is usually a way to be able to have the alerts shut-off after the verdict comes in but it took me awhile to figure out how to shut the thing off. LOL

I just hate signing up for stuff because I started to get texts for all kinds of other things so I think they sold my email out to marketers too.

Im just going to rely on watching the news carefully so I dont miss it.

But I understand if people need to sign up to make sure they dont miss it.

Yeah, all the alerts while I was waiting for the verdict were really annoying. But at least they usually tell you in the text how to unsub.
I also just signed up to follow Larry Ryckman on Twitter, so hoping.

The rule of thumb is one day of deliberations for each week of testimony, so I do think this'll be a few days. But if I was in that juror room (and I listened to about 95% of the testimony), no one would ever persuade me to NGRI.
