It is a weird situation when LE comes out to contradict a source considered to be MSM. ('Course, it is Fox, lol.)
It is for that reason I think it is more credible. jmo

How likely is there to have been a bad dog fight in that particular area?
Not very, I imagine it's not the sort of place dog walkers would go, especially if it's very windy.
Perhaps a local would know for sure?

If the winds blow that hard could her remains have been blown to that area or scattered. Is this really where she was left? tia
Apparently ... yes. Police have reported that the body found was Jessica, but she was not intact. That would suggest that more than one garbage bag was used. She was found near the culvert.

Without sleuthing Jessica's friend, how do we know exactly where he lives? The location that was thought to be his home (and formerly indicated on a map posted here) may not have been correct. According to the Denver Post article it almost certainly is not correct. I don't take that possible location as the correct one.Quote:

J does not live 1000 feet down the street. I do not understand this. I thought her mother said her regular routine was to meet her friends at the park and walk to school together. Why was she meeting this boy at his house? His house IS NOT ON HER ROUTE TO SCHOOL. Why the difference in routine this day? I realize I have missed many posts and have not been able to keep up like I usually do - but this is not sitting well with me.

IMO.
We don't know that more than one bag was found. I'm going with the Posts rendition of things, and am taking the entire article by Fox News with a block of salt. It sounded like the post actually spoke to the trash collectors themselves. Fox is the news equivalent of the Enquirer.
That would have to be some pretty heavy winds :what:
Police statement: "He said someone walking near the park reported finding some items, including a tuft of what appeared to be blonde hair, and called police.
Materasso said there is no indication yet whether the hair are connected to the case. "We don't even know if this is dog hair yet," he said.

I agree, but the poster said 18 wheelers had been blown over.
It appears that a police spokeswoman gave information about the trash collectors discovering the bag that seemed weird.

The article was snipped, Etilema:
Police responded to a bar on S. Chambers Road late in the night of October 16 when a woman told them she was approached by two men in a small white car who asked her for directions.
The woman said she started to give them directions when the male passenger got out of the car, came up from behind her and tried to put a towel over her mouth. She said she knocked him to the ground and ran inside the bar to call police.

I have many pages to catch up on this morning - but wanted to comment on this post from the last thread:
His address is on the transmission that was transcribed in the scanner thread. Here is a link: Websleuths Crime Sleuthing Community
ETA: I am not sleuthing a minor or his Dad - I am trying to determine where Jessica was supposed to walk that morning.
My gut is telling me this is a separate, but very scary incident. Aurora is increasingly growing into an unsafe area. It's been at least 15 years since I visited the Pitchers at Chambers and Iliff, but I remember then thinking it was "sketchy." Since then, it has become a hot spot for fights, gang banger wanna be's and I wouldn't let my cat hang out alone there.
It seems like these two are "copycats" (with the cloth over the mouth thing, it looked like he was attempting it with a towel) and seemed pretty brazen to try and grab this woman in a somewhat busy parking lot. Not to mention they had to know there are security cameras there. It didn't seem very thought out. I get the feeling this predator who took Jessica is more organized.
Also, Westminster is quite a distance from Aurora. If these incidents are related to Jessica and the attempted abduction, then it is truly scary as they are open to moving around from city to city and driving great distances seeking victims.
I tend to also think these two must be regulars at Pitchers and the local bars in Aurora, because otherwise, you probably would never know it even existed or have reason to visit it. It is kind of tucked away from that intersection.
Just my thoughts. At any rate, I hope they are caught soon!
