Someday when I get time I am going to go back through yesterday's hearing thread and make a list of all of KK's "lies" and "possible lies" she has told.

I will break it into three categories.
-guaranteed lies
-most likely a lie
-possible lie

In the guaranteed lie category I can think of two of them right off the top. If I remember right, the first guaranteed lie is the one about purposely leaving some evidence behind so LE would find it. LOL I cant even hardly type that.

And the one about her purposely letting the phone ping in Idaho so she can be tracked and caught.

^^ Respectfully BBM

I thought so too, but look what I bumped into today. Some CSI work. Unbelievable!

<snip> But, Slater said Kenney also claimed she left some blood behind -- one of the multiple clues she hoped to leave investigators, even as she helped Frazee cover up his crime.

According to Slater, when investigators returned to Berreth’s apartment with Kenney, she was able to point them to blood spatters they hadn’t seen before.

I know!
I think the plea deal should have at least been accessory after the fact.
Her lawyer must have been pretty insistent. Imo

I think it really comes down to this.

They didn't have enough for conspiracy úntil she talked. In fact, they had nothing until then.

And they didn't have enough even for accessory either because accessory to what? They need evidence of the crime she would've been an accessory to, in order to charge her as an accessory.

So let's say they had proof she had KB's phone. They had proof from those witnesses that she talked about PF's plan or solicitation before the fact. But there's no body. Nothing proving an actual murder. How can you charge accessory to a crime you can't prove?

So they threatened her with murder charges or conspiracy or accessory and she wouldn't know everything they had but her lawyer would know it would be hard without a body. Or a confession.

So they agreed to negotiate a plea deal.

It's not fair. Her involvement seems vast. But I don't think they had enough for much of anything but tampering. Until she talked.

Early on in this thread, a poster made several references to a violent blow to the back of the head which knocks out teeth with such force they can get embedded in walls. He/she also told us the technical name for it.

Sorry I can’t remember who posted. Just wondering if they are still here, and what clued them in to thinking it might have happened in this case?

Screenshot from the arrest affidavit. Unbelievable how much she is lying to everybody that she knows, and bringing everybody in to be an accomplice unknowingly. She told her friend Megan to help her lie to her exhusband, and sent her a fake text saying she had too much to drink and wanted to stay at her house on the night of the 24th. Pffft. I need to go back to all those words that I had for her and repost them.
What a snake. Stringing her hubby along too. The entire time.
NK must be relieved, she's just been outdone.
MOO.

I keep coming back to this Confrontation of ABC Denever7 reporter with PF and think how cold and chilling PF said in response to the reporters Question do you know where KB is. Quote PF says "This is private property, this is a private road". Chilling

The mind of a man like this. No where does he exhibit any remorse, guilt, regret.

In his mind, he's done nothing wrong, but the news person has by infringing on is space.

Beyond sick.

Yes, and I did not realize she had only been divorced since the summer of 2018. I thought it had been for two years. Imo

Right. So it would seem that KK was cheating on her husband with PF for 2 years?

Which makes me think she told PF she divorced her husband for him, but KB was still in the way.

If he was was added to the witness list, would that keep him from videotaping?
If WPU/Dalton guy is on the list because the DA/Defense want to use his drone/videos, then it probably wouldn't affect his continued coverage. However, if he's a witness for something else, he could be prevented from talking/working the case until after he's been dismissed. MOO

I’m just sick about all that was revealed yesterday. Monsters equally. Poor Kelsey and family. This is horrific. One thing I can say is KKL is a prolific liar. Nothing adds up. I think she is equally guilty, if not actually the one who did murder her. I don’t believe anyone saying she was in Idaho on Thanksgiving.

Is KK getting full immunity?

She's up for charges and a sentence. Probably pretty light.

KOAA had a live blog with Sam Kraemer's tweets from the courtroom. Go to the bottom of this article and read upward.
Live blog: Patrick Frazee appears in court for preliminary hearing

A few of the Colorado networks consolidated some of their reporters to a live blog but some saying they're not accurate to testimony.

@PommyMommy posts probably captured the best of trial twitter on 2/19.

Or here's link for my favorite reporter: Sam Kraemer (@SamKraemerTV) | Twitter

Sam also replies to questions. He's brilliant on this case.

Thanks everyone!!

I agree she at least knew a lot.
SF knew:
That little K was at the ranchette full-time starting Nov. 22.
That there was a large fire in her front yard.
The times that PF called her.
What time PF came to dinner on Thanksgiving day.
What time PF left after dinner on Thanksgiving day.

What am I missing?

And she chose not to testify to what she knew.

I think it really comes down to this.

They didn't have enough for conspiracy úntil she talked. In fact, they had nothing until then.

Short on time, don’t know if this has been discussed. Hln did a segment an hour ago. Joey Jackson & another atty discussed KKL. I only caught a snippet but one attorney said charges against KKL can if fact be enhanced but the DA would likely not do so. Seems both attorneys dislike the “sweet” deal KKL rec’d. As do I. Moo

Their local newpaper has a divorce filed in 2016. Maybe they didn't finalize it until 2018.

Krystal Lee v. CL
Maybe. Apparently they were still living together so they didn't seem to be in any rush.
The affidavit has him stating they divorced in the summer of 2018.

I wonder why the DA allowed KK to plead guilty to "moving" the phone as opposed to cleaning up the murder scene. Her attorney sure got her a sweet deal.

https://www.courts.state.co.us/user.../Teller/caseofinterest/2019CR17/Complaint.pdf

The complaint says she "destroyed, mutilated, concealed, removed, or altered physical evidence, with intent to impair its verity or availability.... "

So I guess this is the part where she cleans up the crime scene and disposes of evidence, including KB's phone, purse and gun. Nothing about coffee, pipe or baseball bat because she didn't carry through with that part.

Well, THIS is rather upsetting!

From below-linked article, published in 2016:

Colorado is one of six states that does not conduct criminal background checks on applicants for nursing licenses. The state requires massage therapists and private investigators to submit a fingerprint for checks against state and FBI conviction records to get licensed. It’s even a step the legislature decided this year to require of operators of fantasy sports leagues before they set up shop in Colorado.

To identify dangerous applicants or licensees with criminal histories, the nurse licensing system in Colorado mostly relies on self-disclosure and complaints. The process allows nurses deemed unfit for the job in other states to obtain and hold a Colorado license to work as a nurse here or in other states.

Colorado 1 of 6 states that doesn’t require criminal background checks for nurses – The Denver Post

I'll keep looking for more Colorado nursing regulations.
