I'm really looking forward to the recordings of PF & Officer's conversation played in court. They have so much damning evidence!

The prosecution played a recording of an officer’s conversation with Frazee shortly after she was reported missing.

“In the middle of the week, she had basically a heart-to-heart about how, you know, this wasn’t working out,” Frazee said in the recording. “She wanted to go our separate ways.”

In the conversation, Frazee said Berreth blamed her commute from Woodland Park to her job in Pueblo as the reason for the separation and alleged that in the week she was reported missing, the 29-year-old got all of her stuff back from him and asked for some space.

In the recording, Frazee said Berreth told him they’d “figure out the custody arrangement” of their 1-year-old daughter.

“When I gave her possessions back, it was something we addressed ‘don’t do anything crazy,’” Frazee is heard saying. “Our lives grew so far apart in the past year-and-a-half or year, we don’t know each other anymore.”

Frazee told the officers that Berreth was “with her wits” and in a good mindset after their breakup. He said the last time he heard from his fiancee was Nov. 25 -- three days after she was last seen in surveillance video at a Woodland Park Safeway. After that, he said he got a message claiming her telephone number had "expired."

"She had requested that I give her space," Frazee said.

Courtroom updates: Preliminary hearing for Patrick Frazee, who is accused of killing Kelsey Berreth

What a despicable liar.
Hope this is produced for all to hear.
So his fiancee contacted him on Nov 25.o_O
Great when this is proven to be another false statement, when we hear from KK.:D
The CREEP.
No wonder, the tent was require to shield the creep, as so many people would love to express what they think.

What info do we have about this other gun?

"Kenney also tried to make up an alibi with the help of a friend by sending a text messages claiming to be somewhere else to her ex-husband.

A friend of Kenney also mentioned she noticed a gun she owned had been tampered with and found it suspicious after speaking to Lee."

Affidavit Unveils Timeline Leading Up To Kelsey Berreth’s Presumed Death – CBS Denver

I think that gun is one big nothingburger.

KK borrowed the vehicle in which the gun was stored on the day following Kelsey’s murder. By the time she arrived in Colorado, Kelsey had been dead for over a day and a half.

So maybe the gun was missing a round, and maybe her friend was just mistaken.

Either way, it appears to be irrelevant. I don’t anticipate ever getting the answer to that.

I so agree with you.

That friend's whole gun-missing-a-bullet story sounded weird to me.

Call me crazy, but if I loan my car to somebody, I'm taking my gun out of the glove box before I do, the fact that I don't even own a gun, notwithstanding.

Methinks someone doth watch too many Lifetime movies.

I always thought the "you take a nap while the baby and I go to Wal-Mart" was after KB got up in the morning on the 22nd (around maybe 9am). But after reading the affidavit it was sent before 4am (about the time or right before KB and the baby got home).

Since this was sent right after she bought and delivered him meds from Walmart it changes a bit of my thinking on things.

He was setting her up to be tired and in a position the next day of wanting a nap...

Not sure where I am going with this but it is stuck in my craw.

I was just watching an episode of “American Monster” on ID Discovery. In short, a man murders his wife, and his plot comes apart because of cell phone data.

He sent fake texts messages from her cell phone, while both phones were in the same house.

Cell phone evidence also showed their phones traveling together to a remote area, and only his phone returning home.

This guy (Brent Cotta) must have written the book that PF read.

Well, he also may have planned on going to her townhouse while she was asleep to kill her but wasn't up to it because he had a tummy ache. Imo

In other reports it was stated that there were "possible" plans to go out to dinner. Kelsey spoke to her mom early in the morning before she went to the store so it's possible that sometime after that PF suggested they go to his mom's house for dinner.
Maybe he wanted her to think they were going out to dinner intially so she would tell her mom that so that he could later explain why she was not present at the ranch. Maybe he even told his family that they were going out to explain why he was gone for so long.

Imo

Reportedly, KB and CB talked mid morning when KB asked her mom for a recipe.

Personally, I've long felt CB was extremely hesitant when answering questions about KB's plans on Thanksgiving, and felt that she winged that answer about maybe they were going out for dinner. Seemed like she was trying to protect the investigation, and fearful of committing a response for KB's plans on Thanksgiving day.

We know that KB baked cinnamon rolls, went to Safeway, and bought fresh flowers found on her table prior to her being bludgeoned to death.

Allegedly, PF was coming to the condo to collect his daughter so KB could take a nap after out late waiting on PF until 4 AM.

Good one.

Wasn't MG somewhat of a busy body in the case?

I think she was interviewed by FBI for confirmation when she exchanged vehicles with KK, and sometime later sought them out again to tell them she thought her gun was tampered with. I've wondered whether she was just fishing for information when she reached out to investigators with her gun story (to share with KK, of course).

ETA: I don't recall FBI acting on this gun story -- kind of like they just blew her off...

That, or desperately seeking to insert herself further into the investigation.

Maybe wanting her 15 minutes of fame.

KK's friends are pretty much a collective finger down the throat.

I think she was just trying to cover her butt (because she believed a round was missing).

The fact that she could accidentally let someone borrow her gun, tells me that she probably didn’t handle it that often.

It was put in the glove box, and all but forgotten.

God knows when that round disappeared, or if it even did in the first place.

And I thought the gun was under the seat!

Good point Seattle.....

"We know that KB
1. baked cinnamon rolls,
2. went to Safeway,
3. bought fresh flowers found on her table prior to her being bludgeoned to death.
4. told PF that she bought the sweet potatoes but for got pecans, if you want them pick them up.
a. If going to Ranch why not just say: "bought the sweet potatoes but forgot pecans by any chance does your mom have any, or can we pick up some going out of town?"
b. She wanted to go out to eat....but it sounds like he steered her to eating at her place.
c. I can hear him say over the phone, "while I'm at Wal-Mart Ill grab a roasted chicken."

PF reading a book? I'm going to chalk that assumption up to the late hour, MG.

He can read?

My guess is the tummy ache was fake. He knew she was pulling away (making friends at work, maybe had given him an ultimatum - change your mean ways or I’m out of here) and he was losing control. He also knew that she was too kind to leave him high and dry if he wasn’t feeling well.

Yams are gross.
I don't know whether KB's receipts will show she purchased regular sweet potatoes or yams or canned sweet potatoes, but likely one of those three.

FTR, the canned sweet potatoes with just plain brown sugar and loads of butter melted/simmered together are best.

No marshmallows or pecans.

JMO.
Oh, you’ve gotta have the marshmallows!
