I’m here, alone and feel like I’m saying goodbye to Kelsey. It’s been a hell of a year, a hell of a ride. I would be lying if I said I wasn’t a little weepy right now. It’s hard to think she was alive this time last year. Justice was served. I’m proud of my community. It was a very beautiful sunset.

Thanks for being there ... travel home safely.

He was put in handcuffs and escorted out of the courtroom.

During victim impact statements the family stated their plans to start an aviation scholarship in Kelsey's name which they want the judge to order Frazee to pay for. They also requested a 'no contact' order from the judge as they "showed their support to a killer." Cheryl Berreth says she will now work on the adoption of her granddaughter.

The judge had Frazee stand up in court as he was sentenced. Judge Sells told Frazee his actions were vicious, senseless, without reason. That Kelsey spent her last night "caring for you, and you viciously beat her to death the following day. After you beat her, you burned her body like it was trash. Kelsey Berreth was a wonderful mother, beloved daughter, your crimes deserve absolute max punishment and I intend to do that."
Patrick Frazee guilty on all counts, sentenced to life in prison

The only thing more satisfying would have been to see one of those poor cowboy dogs chasing him out to the Sheriff's car!

A huge thank you to Dan May and team for a most excellent job! I am in awe!
Thank you to the wonderful jury for making the right decision and I knew they would. Also, the straight laced Judge Sells! He did an awesome job! The sentence is just perfect!

I'm happy for the Berreth family that they got to see justice served today for their beautiful, sweet daughter. I hope as time goes on they will find peace and happiness. And precious little baby K, may she have a happy life. I know her mother will always be with her and watch over her. Rest in sweet peace now, Kelsey. You will not be forgotten.

I think the defense did a great job...with what they had to work with. And I think they had more of a plan at the beginning...but the got derailed by their idiot client.
If all your client leaves for you to work with is" yeah he's an idiot" well what are a gonna do with that?

I'm glad they worked for him as well as they could...SO THIS CONVICTION STICKS LIKE GLUE.

I was just looking up when November 22nd would fall on Thanksgiving day itself again.

2029 per Google

So sad that no matter what date it falls on, the holiday will always will be a remembrance and somber day.

Of note during the presser, that Berreth family did not agree with May to do the plea deal with Kenny (as stated also in her letter in court)
I totally understand why the Berreths would be opposed to that plea deal. But I am glad that Dan May used his professional experience to understand it was a necessity. As he says, he had to make a deal with the devil. But number one priority was to lock up Satan himself. Which he did.
