It is really odd that so many women defend him & pick apart everything about Shannan EVERYTHING. I sometimes think it's purely jealousy. She was attractive & had a wonderful personality. Or is it subconsciously because they think she should have seen the monster he was about to reveal? Do they think she should have done more to protect her children ? Are they afraid because the Watts relationship reminds them so much of their own? I believe they think if she had looked different, been less alpha and more beta, a poor housekeeper, a mediocre mother and wife things would have been much different. I just don't get it at all.

FWIW - Some posts are just exploring the possibility that CW told the truth regarding who killed the girls and they haven't been defending or picking apart SW. I realize some posts are defending CW and picking apart SW, but not all of them are. IMO they are being lumped together and picked apart and taken out of context.

Why so sure?
If he was thinking of his final 'story' beforehand (don't think he was tho)... he could have made sure some dna from SW was on their necks.

Mainly my reasoning is this- He would not have loaded the girls into the truck without wrappings IMO. 'If' you are seen by anyone you can't just be carrying a dead body in your arms... a bag or sack could be anything.
Don't you think from the truck to the oil tanks would be the same?
I see them wrapped up just like I think SW was in the bedsheet.

Bury, put in vats, burn in giant fire... his option at that point are severely limited.
Anything would suck... just like differentiating between killing somebody with a knife or a gun. Killing is killing and disposing is disposing.

I just found this chart on Wikipedia.
I believe that the storage tank where CW put the girls bodies would be the "crude oil and storage tank" shown on the far left under the jack pump.

Interestingly, he had one outside his home.

I don't agree... I think the openings were big enough for the girls but not for SW. That is why she was hastily buried.

All apologies! I have read on several different sites (including here) that he had a babysitter watching the girls on Saturday night.

Most people assumed he was seeing the mistress (AP-I’m new and don’t know what that stands for yet-or what is VI).

Others claimed that was incorrect and that he had gone out with work friends or was at attending a work function.

I’m thinking now that it’s more than possible that he was literally at work, but just not in the same way it was assumed. I don’t have the link-it’s merely been mentioned a lot and I thought I saw it mentioned here too. If it’s againsr the rules to mention without the link-am sorry. I thought it had already been established and gives him more time to prep the site, proving that it was undoubtedly premeditated. There would be ways for his work to have established this if his truck had a work related GPS monitor or there are cameras on site, but he technically could have used SW’s Lexxus which might not have had the same tracking device at any time while she was away.

I hope, with permission from Tricia, we could have some of the more distasteful posts removed, by one or more of us posters, we could have temporary mod capabilities . I imagine this could be arranged once more damning evidence is revealed against CW, hopefully well before the trial is even underway.
SW is the victim and this is a victim friendly site. JMO

Really?!! A lot of posters picked her videos apart and posted about her parenting style, how she talks to her husband and kids, etc etc. Every action she took in her videos was analyzed. <modsnipped unnecessary comment>

North Carolina is NOT a community property state nor a 50/50 state. However, being an equitable distribution state, the assets start off as equally distributed but many factors will move assets from one spouse to the other.

Mention was made about one of them (the Kings) possibly having an affair that would affect the marital assets. I think it is completely salacious to make this assumption unless you have some proof. IMHO. Furthermore, they may not have had much to split up.

I’m not suggesting CR emptied the tanks just to place the bodies in.

Oil tanks get filled by truck, rail or pipeline, etc after well production and then are emptied when the company sells the raw product (oil) to a refinery. If an oil tank is a permanent storage unit, in my experience that’d be very unusual.

That’s why I wonder if CR placed the girls bodies in the tanks prior to the company filling them with oil. After the tanks had been cleaned, the larger bottom door closed in preparation for filling with oil, there’d be no reason for anyone to take a second look inside.

It would be easy for the company to determine the quantity of oil in them, at any time, I'd think. According to the interview I referred you to, the tanks are filled rather slowly from the well/pumps This is not oil stored after refining.

According to AB's show transcript it would take 3 months to fill one of the tanks up. Therefore, they could not have been empty when the girls were place in them. The girls were found submerged in full tanks only 3 days later. Here is the transcript of the show:

I'm still thinking he may have already told the girlfriend that SW had already left, and they were already separated. That may be why he deleted the FB when he did. Also might explain why he felt he had to do it that weekend. Jmo

I would say because they fill them gradually with smaller amounts of oil as it is pumped. That is why there are storage tanks to hold the oil.
