@Tippy Lynn

“I think both sides will pull whatever they can to build or defend their cases”.

The prosecutor had a lot of evidence from the get-go, even before the results of the autopsies were available. I'd wager they have a mountain of evidence now.

The defence will be pulling whatever they can … and I think it’s going to be very slim pickings. Desperate times call for desperate measures.

I guess we’ll have to wait and see. I try not to underestimate what might be coming...

I do too; mainly because people are using the reasoning that the friends may be called as witnesses at trial. Soooooo, do we not think that some of Shanann's friends are going to be witnesses at trial? Because NUA, JL and the Thayer's have given interviews...

Correct me if I’m wrong but didn’t most give interviews immediately after the arrest or shortly thereafter. I thought most have been silent since.

If you are a neighbor who knew him socially, at this time, would you be going on National Television telling everybody that he seem to be a nice guy, telling them what you knew about seeing the family in the yard and interacting with them, and interjecting things about how it was normal if that is what you saw?

I, myself, would not. And I don't think it unexpected that others would not either.

To those that are posting here , I pose the question, are you are the type of person that would go on National media? and expect others to? If you were in the situation where this was unexpected, you had nothing to offer for the media other than saying it was unexpected and he was a nice guy or an introverted guy or whatever information that wasn't perhaps relevant to the investigation. And if it was relevant to the investigation, would you be talking?
If someone I loved or cared about was accused of murder and I believed them to be innocent, I would be SCREAMING it from the rooftops!

He's already been proven guilty of killing SW and the unborn baby, Nico. Proven by his own confession. He's already been proven guilty of obstruction of justice. Proven by his own confession. He is NOT innocent of those crimes. Now we have, what I believe, is a preponderance of evidence, that leads me to believe he's guilty of also killing his daughters. Logic and common sense also leads me to conclude he's guilty. Anyway, because of his own confessions, we're really not discussing his guilt, that's been established, it's the depth and degree that remains to be proven. IMHO it will be forcefully proven, with no doubts.
Has every person who confessed to a crime been convicted of said crime?

I don’t know what to think. Everybody keeps saying how great his public defenders are, but it looks to me like they’re losing almost every motion they file. Truth be told, I am leaning toward a plea deal or a suicide. I think C.W. was sloppy, and the DA has much more evidence than we know about.

I have no idea how to BBM but this in reference to show respect for the dead.. I said already I think he did it. But here’s an example. John F Kennedy. President. Murdered. And for how many years (until recently) he was put on a pedestal and revered when in reality he was “seeing” every lady that came his way. Now that’s no where and not even close in any universe what people who scrutinize her facebook posts think shannan did or was, but should people not point out Kennedy’s flaws just because he was assasinated (and no he did t deserve that either) because we can’t speak I’ll of the dead and he can’t defend himself.

And yes shannan had the love and admiration of everyone it seems. Personally imo she has one of those polarizing personalities, love it or hate it. No in between
That is a good point, but weren't those things that were pointed out true, for the most part?

Looooooooooooong shot here, I've driven myself crazy looking for news video. Does anyone remember? It was likely Aug 12th or 13th. Live newscast and it showed NAU (we did not know who she was at that point in time) in the street infront of the Watts house holding a toddler, she swept the hair off her face and also moved her toddlers hand off her face.

TIA if anyone knows that video I'm looking for. It was on Denver news 4 or 7 or 9 or 31.

Yes, but no more hearsay than all of the stuff that has been said about SW to assassinate her character and show that she was capable of murder. There have been claims by others that they had affairs with him, no people have come forward to say anything substantial about the claims that SW was a liar and faked her illnesses other than people doing it to fit their own agenda.
I have no agenda except justice. Moo the claims by others seem weak as to even Ab has not interviewed him since his suspicious dropped call interview. IMO her character will be questioned as to some level during the trial. IMO it is hard to find a balance as to looking into things done find questionable or odd and others not assume Victim shaming . I don't believe anyone believes SW regardless of whatever character flaws she may or may not have is to blame for her death. Cw has accused her so it will be examined if probable she killed the girls IMO. If one believes she may have had motive or capability of strangling the girls then that is not IMO an agenda it is an exploration to see if it is relative.

My partner has a few male friends he tells everything too and who reveal everything to him regarding the status of relationships etc....Men might not do it as often as women, but most normal men do discuss personal things with their “close friends” and it seems that nobody really knew Chris Watts, and they definitely didn’t know what he was capable of in their wildest dreams.
Co-worker guys had to know he was, um, "dating" the co-worker AP, IMO, and they 1) either hid that or 2) let Shan'nan know one way or another. It might be that guys are more willing to wink at each other in this situation than women are.

I’m sure people are far more likely to speak glowingly of someone who has passed away than of someone who is being accused of murder.
Many people IMO are afraid to even speak out due to the backlash they might get for “supporting” a murderer.

Trinket was on here and s/he liked him a lot. S/he was attacked , IMO, for those views.

People have not said that they beleve him. They have said they cannot fathom how it could be as they thought of him as a good person. This is summarized by me and not quoted

Not that anything is wrong with that, correct? At least up until recently
I don't see anything wrong with that. The problem is that sometimes people close to someone are so willing to hide their inner feelings, and to gain acceptance from someone more outgoing, doing everything the other person wants, being everything the other person wants them to be, eventually they snap from all of that "faking it".

I believe the poster is indicating it is their opinion? And it is entirely possible......my question is who is advising them not to?
Is it the Prosecution, the Defense, LE, one another? Why has there been no public request for any of them to refrain from supporting him? How many are there? Are they on the witness list? Do they have current relationships with both CW and SW? Why would they be fearful of backlash for showing their support if they have evidence of his innocence? Just trying to understand the theory.......o_O
I think no one has come forward and spoken publicly because although they may know and/or love him, they most likely wouldn’t have evidence that he didn’t commit this crime. They could only speak to his character, personality, feelings, etc. But more importantly they’d be hounded by the press and would have no peace or privacy. It’s better for them to wait until the trial and then speak on his behalf. IMO.
