YES, to the bolded, above. That is a perfect description of his face during those interviews.

He was supposed to be pleading to the public, to help him find his missing family. But his family was not on his mind. He was smiling and strangely upbeat and I saw flashes of glee. It made the hair on the back of my neck stand up. Right then, a whole lot of people thought he was guilty of some kind of involvement in their unexplained disappearance.
Put that into the perspective of him not only knowing his family was dead, but knowing he beat Shanann almost to death and then strangled the remaining life out of her. Was that one reason he was gleeful?

It will be interesting to see. He can make a statement. I wonder if he will?

Poll anyone? How many believe he will make a statement apologizing or otherwise taking some responsibility and how many think e won't make a statement at all?

I think he will speak and will not show any remorse, only giving more excuses. I want him to keep his mouth shut and not say anything at all. Anything he says will only be more lies or a final attempt at sympathy. The only things I want to hear from his mouth are:
"I am guilty."
"I murdered Bella."
"I murdered CeCe."
"I murdered Shanann."
"I murdered Nico."
"I buried Shanann (and Nico) in a shallow grave."
"I shoved Bella and CeCe in oil tanks."
"And then I lied about it all to everyone."
"I lied about Shanann strangling the girls-- She did not do that. She was good mother and never would have harmed them."
"I planned this all out because I am a selfish SOB and thought I could get away with it and then go be with my mistress instead."
"I am a monster and I deserve death for my crimes. I accept my punishment of life in prison without chance of parole as more lenient than I deserve."
"I would do this again if I got out, only better having learned from my mistakes, so please keep me locked up forever. Never forget I am a monster, despite what my mother says."

But I don't think we will get to hear him admit to any of that, beyond repeating the word "guilty" when he is required to.
MOO.

If it's true that SW was badly beaten....CW didn't do it with his hands. He didn't have any bruising or injury to his knuckles in those porch interviews. Perhaps it will come out Monday that there was an object and forensic evidence recovered from the house. But I'm also remembering the mystery surrounding the request for prints of his feet.

Did he use his feet?

Omigosh, it never occurred to me Momma Watts could be the one leaking details to the Murder Rap Sesh ladies. It does make perfect sense, though, since they themselves brag about reaching out and connecting with her. One of them has claimed to have a "jailhouse source" from the beginning and I always wondered whom that could be, too.

Is this a situation in which there could be a cease and desist issued?

I remember years ago a family member close to me maintained a political blog. She was very outspoken against a number of political figures. She hit a nerve on one of her entries because she got a cease and desist.
Of course it was her. She has leaked any little bit of information that she has been given. She leaked that there was a plea deal which got all his supporters gleefully anticipating that some charges were going to dropped only to find out he was pleading guilty to all charges.
Why would any legal team include her in their process?

How would it benefit Mrs W to publicize the information from the autopsy? If it actually shows that Shanann was severely beaten, why would she be want to release that?

The prints of his feet were in connection to a foot print on a bag that was found at Certi Ranch (oil site). But he certainly could have kicked her. That could have incapacitated her if it was quick and unexpected. I haven't seen anything about CW being involved in martial arts. If all of the blows were delivered to her body it's doubtful it would have injured his hands/knuckles. This speculation really tears me up; what must have been going through her mind! Poor Shanann,

Agreed. Nothing more than "yes sir".

I know it was about the bag - but we are not privy to everything else they may have been exploring. One doesn't have to know martial arts to beat the spit out of someone. There are allegedly defense wounds; even if he only used his hands to her body, repeated punching and especially striking bone (i.e. ribs, arms, back) still would have caused some swelling and bruising to the hands, IMO.

This may have been touched on in another post,so forgive me if it was, but does anyone else find the timing of NK’s debut more then a little suspicious? Convenient? Somewhat self serving even? Yes I know witnesses had to stay silent until “now” but I feel like this was a very strategic (and clever) play by her lawyer...with the autopsies/MOST of the sordid details coming out in a few days, I feel her lawyer wanted to get her version of the truth (sorry I’m not buying what she’s selling about not knowing he was married) out there while she could still get some sympathy. As someone said in another post, the details are going to be gruesome enough that NOTHING could be forgiven after Monday...but coming out with the “poor ignorant mistress who did the right thing” story BEFORE we hear about the nasty crime she was (potentially)indirectly responsible for? Voila, instant sympathy and less tarnished image!
JMO of course

ETA Of course I commend her for coming forward to LE etc I’m just a jaded one who questions everyone’s motives now...

This! Yes I do find it very self serving. I am another one that doesn't buy that she didn't know he was married. And as I said previously I don't buy that she "barely" knew him. This affair was not nearly as innocent as she makes it out to be. It was a sexual affair with a married man with small children. At 30 years old I just don't believe she was that naive.

People keep comparing her to AF. There is a huge difference. AF did not live near SP so it was very easy for him to hide the truth of his situation. NK and CW worked in the same place. His coworkers knew the situation and many have said their affair was being talked about all the time. Which makes sense.

Now having said all of that; I do not believe she had anything to do with the murders.

I was involved in martial arts for many years and "body blows" will not injure your hands, especially if the person being hit is wearing clothing. If he had some knowledge or experience he would attack the solar plexus, kidneys, and just below the ribs. Also, and I really cringe saying this, a pregnant woman is especially vulnerable. If she fell and he was kicking her, he would have injured her upraised hands and arms, hence the defensive wounds. Sorry to be graphic, it horrifies me, and I have to work at cleansing my mind when I leave this site.

I am pretty sure that she would not have lied about the text that told her that the divorce was final and I am sure that LE has all their texts.

BBM. Well, something certainly happened to MRS. Jay is out of the FB group AFAIK, all the periscopes have been removed, and another admin/mod posted something about the MRS podcast being on a break due to "technical and business issues"

ETA: They were very upset about how they were portrayed in the Radar article as well.

Because that would go to her theory that he killed her for killing the girls, in her mind.

Exactly - the "rage defense"

NK NEVER said she didn't know he was married, she said; he told her he was finalizing a divorce. NK is a victim of his lies and deception. There is NO reason to attack NK.

BBM MOO

We need a source for CW's coworkers knowing about the affair. Otherwise, it's considered rumor and cannot be posted here.

Reminder:

Read the mod warnings at the beginning of each thread. NK is a victim. Why are people insisting on letting a married man off the hook for having an affair? How is it somehow the unmarried woman's fault? Sounds misogynistic to me.

This! Not to mention, as SOON as she found out about his lies about the state of his marriage, the fact that his wife was pregnant and missing, and his odd behavior she went directly to the police and gave them all the evidence she had. She admitted to the affair before CW ever did - it's right in the warrantless affidavit. She proved her morals as soon as she had more information. CW is a liar who victimized NK. They had a short-lived romance during which he lied to her about everything. It's an awful lesson to learn so publicly.
