Bravo! Thank you! CW is an admitted Murderer, liar, deceiver, and cheater! He, and he alone, is responsible. Kudos.

I think the DA may have his own theory as to bruises (if true). We will find out soon, less than two days.

I’m skeptical as to the information regarding Shannan’s body showing signs of a “violent beating.”

It may be true, it may not be, but I don’t trust the source of this information at all.

We’ll get the answer on Monday.

I was involved in martial arts for many years and "body blows" will not injure your hands, especially if the person being hit is wearing clothing. If he had some knowledge or experience he would attack the solar plexus, kidneys, and just below the ribs. Also, and I really cringe saying this, a pregnant woman is especially vulnerable. If she fell and he was kicking her, he would have injured her upraised hands and arms, hence the defensive wounds. Sorry to be graphic, it horrifies me, and I have to work at cleansing my mind when I leave this site.

Me too. I would think that there would be some evidence in the house of a violent beating.

I find it so odd that CW's parents refused to attend his wedding to SW because Mama Watts couldn't get along with SW. How petty can one be? She didn't have to like her but out of respect for your son you don't skip out on such an important event. That there shows her true character. Of course I don't know what the conflict was all about but personally I wouldn't have shown such disrespect.

Exactly. You skip something like that, it’s not something that goes away. The relationship is irreparably damaged.

It is incredibly petty, and gives a glimpse at her true nature and personality.

Agree, he told her they were in the process of divorcing. How is she expected to predict that he would kill his family? She bears no responsibility and she immediately came forward and shared any information she had, she did not try to protect him.

I doubt he has any martial arts or previous knowledge, so I am doubtful he would have been this aware. Maybe there will be Google searches of vulnerable body sites. Ugh...

Using his feet to severely injure and disable her was my original speculation; I just can't see him not having a single mark on his hands and she would have been fighting back. If she was on the ground and he above her using his feet, then no wounds to his face/hands.

Agree - this is so very graphic and I feel dirty every time I imagine the scenarios involving this case. I can't believe I haven't been having nightmares, as I expect to happen every night when I go to bed.

How would it benefit Mrs W to publicize the information from the autopsy?If it actually shows that Shanann was severely beaten, why would she be want to release that?

I'm not saying that I think she did leak this, I think it could equally be someone else in her family, but perhaps to continue the lie that this was CW in a rage at Shan'ann as per his original version, and not cold-blooded, cool-headed, premeditated murder.

In the extended interview with Mrs. Watts, she said that CW played baseball, basketball, and football when he was a child. She didn't mention any martial arts. It's possible he had some martial arts training, but we have no evidence of that.

It makes me angry to realize that CW will have opportunities to enjoy snippets of sunshine, even in prison, while his beautiful daughters were killed and placed in oil tanks. He just took away their lives, Shannan won't ever be able to hold her new baby...and NK, will probably never believe another man again.

CW is a monster, who stole so much, from so many. Too bad prison isn't a terrible place.

They were married in Nov 2012. Moved to Colorado soon after (PommyMommy, do you know when?). Purchased CO home in May 2013.

Shanann loved Colorado. No more drama, she said in her video. (she was polite to not say MIL was the cause of the drama, IMO)

And I will presume, by extension, they also did not want another grandchild from Shanann. So they really do not care about his death at all.

Well said. Prison has been called; "the belly of the beast". CW may find out why, or he may find a home. Very sad, but true.

I actually believed they moved to Colorado before they were married then went back to NC for the wedding.
