make it do another one, please??
One that reflects our shared real thoughts?
won't be breaking no rules... not like a court of law.. geez see that lawyer that got caught citing cases that did not exist via chat gpt? He swore he wouldn't do it ever again...
Oh man, this is good, even AI sees through Iris:

In a courtroom's hush, the trial begins,
Barry Morphew stands, his heart filled with sins.
His lawyer by his side, weaving tales with pride,
But beneath the surface, deceit does reside.

A web of lies spun, with words so carefully chosen,
Shielding the truth, like a secret left unspoken.
With each fabricated line, trust further erodes,
As the lawyer's falsehoods unravel like unwound codes.

In the gallery, eyes filled with doubt and pain,
Witnessing the charade, feeling hope wane.
For the truth yearns to break free from its chains,
Exposing the darkness, untangling the remains.

But justice has a way, a path it will find,
Though clouds may linger, the truth won't be confined.
And Barry Morphew, with his lawyer's deceit,
Shall face the consequences, his heart heavy with defeat.

For lies can't withstand the piercing light of truth,
They crumble and falter, devoid of lasting proof.
In the end, the echoes of deceit shall fade,
As the weight of honesty prevails, unswayed.

Remember, this poem is a work of fiction and should not be interpreted as an actual representation of real events or individuals.

BRILLIANT.
new found respect for AI.
Fit the 2 in the 1 boat.
How cool is that?

Funny that you mentioned the Colorado lawyer who used ChatGPT
Look who they interviewed about it in this local article:

[…]

Ramsey Lama, a former Fremont County judge turned defense attorney, said law research can be very time-intensive, taking 20 to 30 hours for some cases. While he has never used ChatGPT, he said he can see how it would be useful in the legal industry.

“What previously took a lawyer maybe 40 hours or 20 hours to do, maybe a tool like this could condense it to two hours or maybe 30 minutes,” Lama said. “A quicker result for the client is better for the client. A quicker result for the client saves the client money.”

Hey, @Seattle1 Check out this former judge who thinks AI would be a great tool to cut corners on doing actual research!

I'm wondering if @MassGuy could put a topographical mask of possible locations in, holes we never found, crevices, places unmarked to general public , whether it would do a layers search of sub terrain and come up with a useful search option? Is it possible or does the thing need to be fed everything? I know it's not sentient which disappointed me initially but it surely could do targeted searches in a way general public could not??

Betcha LS would look at it favourably if we sent it to her if it came up with something??

Long shot, I know but is it worth it?

Everyone should download it and try it out. It’s fun. Write a eulogy, an obituary, or a 10 page essay in seconds.

I just pray my niece and nephew never learn about this.
I spent a full night on it a few weeks ago but I didn't actually attempt to use it,. I was gutted it was not sentient..
I wanted it to be .
BUT it could do a land search?
YES.

Nothing else has worked.

I vote we give it a shot.

Lol, I had ChatGPT, an AI program, write the following poem:

In the quiet hills, a tale unfolds,
Of Barry Morphew and a love he once held.
His wife, now lost, a mystery untold,
Leaving hearts shattered, memories unfold.

Their love once bloomed, like flowers in May,
Hand in hand, they walked life's winding way.
But shadows cast upon their happy home,
And now he grieves, standing there alone.

What happened that fateful day she disappeared?
Whispers echo, rumors abound, and fears.
Did tragedy strike, or secrets did hide,
In the heart of Barry Morphew's troubled mind?

The search commenced, with hope and despair,
A community united, hearts heavy with care.
Days turned to weeks, and weeks to years,
And still, no trace of her would reappear.

Oh, Barry Morphew, haunted by the past,
Your sorrow lingers, a pain that will last.
May truth prevail, and answers be found,
To bring solace to those left on uncertain ground.

Though darkness looms and questions persist,
May justice prevail, as truth can't resist.
And may healing come to those left behind,
As the story of Barry Morphew unwinds.

Please note that this poem is a work of fiction and should not be interpreted as an actual representation of real events or individuals.

The defense team has clearly influenced ChatGPT...hahahaha.

If it doesn't have shooting squirrels, tranq darts, and a mountain lion, it ain't poetry!

Much better! A work of art!!!

Lol. I tried.

Barry Morphew is an individual who gained significant media attention in 2020 when his wife, Suzanne Morphew, went missing. However, I don't have any specific information regarding Barry Morphew's connection to mountain lions. If you have any specific questions about the case or any other topic, feel free to ask, and I'll do my best to assist you.

Awesome!! Covers it all.
Hope you get to post one when he is in prison. That should be a doozy!

Mountain Lion:
When Barry came home from the “job” that evening, he went to the search area where he had earlier tossed the bike. One of the LE searchers made a comment: “We had reports of a mountain lion around here.”

Barry grabbed on to that with both hands and a leg. He repeated it for all to hear. Stupid! The absence of blood evidence quickly nulled that. His planned cover story was his best theory. (The bad guy(s) had snatched her and tossed the bike in the ravine. The helmet off US 50 showed their direction of travel.)

What? No mention of BBQ peanut butter, Bobcat, rubber duckie (I've completely forgotten the source of that), injured turkeys, hotel rooms full of bleach? That must be about a different Barry Morphew.

If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck.

Suzanne’s Remains - (Much IMO)

(A.) I’ve studied this case since two weeks after Suzanne’s murder. For 2 years. I’ read nearly every post and comment on both Reddit and most of Websleuth’s until the trial. Since then I’ve mainly scanned the sites for something new.

That said, I’ve had several theories about where Barry disposed of her body. All theories were based upon my understanding of the facts at the time.

I’ve always thought that he wrapped her in a tarp and double duct taped each seam before he moved the body. Hence, no DNA evidence for days.

  1. My first thought was in a dumpster behind a gas station on the way to Broomfield. This didn’t last long.
  2. My next was in a pond, visible from the Broomfield job site. Another discard.
  3. Then, the theory that he disposed of her in a commercial dumpster at one of his four morning stops in Broomfield.
  4. Finally, the “Mine Shaft” theory. This assumed that he must have dumped her in one of the hundreds of old abandoned mine sites in Chaffee County. He had hunted these areas on foot. He had the old Range Rover in the driveway and it did not have a GPS recording system. I held onto this for about two years and defended it against all comers. Now I realize that it was folly. My apologies.
(B.) Disproving the “Mine Shaft” theory:

  1. As one goes up the slopes the snow pack gets deeper and deeper. The medium to high elevations were covered by deep snow. Barry knew that he might get stuck or slide off the road. Plus, even if the abandoned mine shaft was somewhat near the road, he would have left tracks and drag marks between the road and the mine. Too risky.
  2. Barry’s most clever move was when he went .8 mile “westish” on US. 50 from the bike site and tossed her biking helmet about 20’ off the edge of 50. That location indicated the direction of travel of her abductors.
  3. Barry didn’t want any chance of her being found. Sooo, why would he go westish to dispose of her body after pointing LE in that direction.
(C.) Conclusion: Suzanne must have been dumped in a Broomfield dumpster site! He had spent an inordinate amount of time at one. He had to be making sure that the “coast was clear”.

  1. Barry readily admitted that he illegally disposed of his work trash in commercial dumpsters. He did it as a cover in case cameras caught him in Broomfield. But it also tells us that he was familiar with dumpsters.
  2. Barry counted on there not being many people being out and around on Sunday - Mother’s Day.
  3. Barry went to four dumpsters and disposed of evidence. Why four? He didn’t have THAT much in his truck! Answer: He was looking for one that was nearly full … an indication that it would soon be picked up! That would also give him material to loosely cover the tarp wrapped body.
  4. Barry showered twice in the hotel room. Why? He had just carried Suzanne’s remains! OUT DAMN SPOT!!!!!
  5. Her remains are in a Denver area landfill - never to be found.
Finally realizing that Suzanne will never be found gives me no joy.

I’m hoping a new DA will not wait for remains and have the “smarts” and “guts” to effectively try him again. And get a conviction.

Thanks @MassGuy - This one was much more aligned with reality !
Truly the best part :

Love that!!
Just imo

Glad to see posts on this thread. I hope BM's civil lit blows up in his and IE smug faces and discloses evidence to help the prosecution. We all know how much Bare likes to talk!

This thread has been one of my favorites to follow and post on over the years. Responsible, respectful, and reasonable people who are genuinely seeking justice for Suzanne.

MOO
