I have mixed feelings about the affair partner. She's missing for months and not coming forward with information tells me a lot about persons character. Poor Suzanne - she deserved a stand up guy, not sure she understood that. Sad on many levels.
Yeah maybe Suzanne is just a poor judge of character when it comes to men.

Did Barry find the messages?

I bet. Maybe she left it open by accident and he snooped.

The timing seems bad for a planned attack. Premediation can happen in minutes so that's not what I mean. But rather, if you were planning to kill your wife, would you really do it on Mother's Day when everyone would be looking to speak to her? Seems more like a spur of the moment - like maybe finding an "I love you" to another man - kind of attack.

Yes, this concerns me too. Poor Suzanne is what comes to my mind as well.

A judge would've had him maintain health insurance for Suzanne and the daughters until they aged out of the policy. IMO
More idle threats from BM.

I disagree. He's the type who would cancel all the health insurance and convince the court he was indigent and could no longer pay it. Happens all the time in bitter divorces. And I do not believe Barry had any substantial income during these past few years. If they were all insured under a policy for his business (likely), then he'd just fold his business (as he had done so many times in the past) and work for cash.

She needs to keep Barry working enough for that insurance, is what he's saying and what she's likely thinking (also wanting insurance for the girls, of course). Think of her worry that one of the girls might end up with non-Hodgkins as well. Plus, she doesn't want Barry to lose everything or for him to completely crash, psychologically.

She just wants out of an abusive relationship. Interesting that her need for cancer insurance was decreasing (and that CO has a pretty good system for public health insurance).

I just can't feel sympathetic for him. He chose to have an affair. He knows Suzanne was in an abusive relationship based on these messages. He put Suzanne over his family when it was convenient and fun for him but not when it was really important.
I have zero sympathy for him. And did he really think that he was untraceable? I’ve already got some kind of bad impression of him in my head, one of those jerks that goes on conventions and cheats on their spouses.

And Suzanne's father's health was terminal. He couldn't let that inheritance get away either.
Oh yeah!
Just like skinning your pet raccoon.
!!

@LaurenScharfTV Libler and Suzanne would message each other on Linked In. Libler said on May 6, "I know these next few days were going to be rough." They also sent pictures to each other.

... he spoke to her on May 6 and didn't think it was important to speak to the police when she disappeared days later?

THE LAST COMMUNICATION FROM SUZANNE was at 14:11 on May 9 between her and Jeff Libler on Linked In.

@AshleyKKTV

Sheila and #SuzanneMorphew talked about how Suzanne's youngest, Macy, encouraged her to get a divorce and said that Suzanne should get a restraining order against #BarryMorphew if she needed.

I get the impression SM may have been closer with the younger one and BM with the older... this must be even more conflicting if they are on opposite sides of the aisle, so to speak... physically they are sitting on the same side, but emotionally on opposite sides.

And she was sick with cancer. He disappeared when she needed him to speak up, chicken. <modsnip>

Yes, that and the girls would be back the next day. It would be much harder to wait, because then Macy would be around to possibly see or witness DV.
