I've missed some of the thread, but was there something about an Al Anon book on a bed ?

If so I wonder could that be to infer that Suzanne had a drinking problem.

the Alanon Book? Dude, that's not an AA book, that's Alanon , the other team. My family has members
on both sides. IMO.

Exactly, anger along with many emotions is normal .... murder is not.

Twenty two years ago when I discovered my ex husband's affair, even now I can remember every detail of that night, every feeling that I had when I found out what had been going on. At the end of hours of heated discussions from both of us he fell asleep on the lounge, I can remember looking at him sleeping and I wanted to hurt him, I think I may have wanted to really harm him, I watched him for the longest time.

I didn't hurt him, I walked away with two children & got a divorce!

That was probably what SM wanted to do, BUT this skunk had his own way with MURDER.

Al-Anon has to do with someone else’s drinking problem, as opposed to your own.

So an alcoholic might attend AA meetings, but someone who lives with an alcoholic night attend Al-Anon. We do know from Melinda that it was Gene’s (her father’s) drinking problem that affected Suzanne.

The Al-Anon book of Suzanne's was a daily calendar/devotional. The page that was book-marked (the corner was turned down) was May 9, and it was lying open, pages down, on her nightstand. (Meaning, she didn't pick that book up again after the 9th).

Also: Barry said they had steaks, not one steak, that they shared on one plate, but investigators found a package of 2 steaks with only one missing in the fridge (from the evening of May 9).

He also told investigators in various interviews that she was wearing the white outfit, she was naked, and that he saw only a breathing lump the last time he saw her. He said that after they had sex, he rolled over and went to sleep because he was tired. Absolute shocker there.

It’s almost as if she couldn’t pick that book up, as she was dead on the 9th.

That’s good evidence, especially if she used it daily.

I know this book, "Courage of Change" I don't think it has a Calendar. If something was bad there, he would have burned it.

No, Al Anon is about being in a family or relationship with drinkers. It was written to help people deal with the alcoholics in their lives. How to not enable them and how to keep your own life on track, in spite of the drama.

I personally don’t like safes in the garage. They usually end up there because of their weight and size (we have a Ft Knox safe & vault door). However, IMO, they can make you a target to undesirables that see it when your garage door is open (passerby, service calls, etc.). Even if it’s not easy to break into, that doesn’t mean someone won’t try. Then in the wild chance you need access to a firearm quickly, you have to go to the garage. I did have a negative reaction when we learned BM kept his in the garage. IMO

SA Harris says during their investigation it came out that #SuzanneMorphew would use find my phone to track #BarryMorphew. He says sometimes Barry would turn his phone on airplane mode so Suzanne couldn't track him.@KKTV11News

I don't mean to be flip, but they are as bad as each other. What type of relationship was this where they both had to spy on each other?

Suzanne’s dad was an alcoholic. Her involvement with al anon has been documented from the start as being related to her father. It had zero to do with her being an alcoholic, and quite frankly, it angers me that people give Barry’s lies life.

I just want to post this one more time:

BM asked for immunity if he just sat down and opened his life up to the FBI agents. Grusing believes Barry meant that if he disclosed things to agents, he wouldn’t be prosecuted for suzannes disappearance and death.

As others have said, look how close he came to confessing.

I disagree, though agree with your line of thinking about control issues. If she was that afraid, she would never have had an affair. I think its more likely that she wanted to keep tabs on him so that she could carry out her affair.

Life turned out wonderful thanks those two little girls have grown up into beautiful adults and I remarried eventually.

I have no doubt that was exactly what SM wanted to do but no one leaves Barry do they and that leaves her girls with no mum

And additional charges (5/18/21) with tampering with a deceased human body & possession of a dangerous weapon (short rifle) & amended (5/18/21) to add domestic violence as sentencing enhancement. No bond.
*Charged (5/13/21) with felony forgery of public records & misdemeanor elections-mail ballot offense. $1K Bond.

Agent Derek Graham with Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI). He has been with them for 2 years. Before that he worked for Colorado Springs Police Dept. for 34 years. DA Mark Hurlbert on direct.
Chaffee County Sheriff's Office Undersheriff Andy Rohrich. He has been the undersheriff for 3 years. He has been a police officer for 23 years. He worked as an animal control officer for 4 years. Rohrich was called while off-duty around 8:14pm May 10, 2020, about Suzanne & got on scene around 8:52pm.

Don't know if this was covered while I was sleeping, but per Lauren S., as well as Unmasked (who was in the courtroom yesterday), there were 3 scratches on Barry's left upper arm/shoulder area, and they were parallel.
