And that’s the biggest tell in all of this.

Joe Schmoe knows that mountain lions don’t drag women from their bikes, throw that bike in a ravine, leave no trace of an attack, and disappear a body.

If the average person knows that, Barry, an experienced hunter and outdoorsman, sure as hell does.

So from minute one he’s not only telling everyone his wife is dead (obvious implication), but something he knows to be impossible happened.

Say “mountain lion” again Barry. I dare you!
You gotta love the genius of it huh, before he even knew his wife was in real trouble (not with a friend etc ) he immediately knows a mountain lion got her. This guy is a genius. His awareness is just incredible for him to just know right away it was a mountain lion despite being 3 hours away. It must be his posture how he held the phone when he first heard. Barry missed his true calling, he could be the next Columbo.

ADDITIONAL PRESS RELEASE SENT AFTER MY STORY AIRED:
There goes the nonexistent budget.

Feels like BM has some shady secrets. Whether it’s women, gambling or something else. Something that was taking up his time or money. Something that was upsetting to Suzanne. He wasn’t going to stop whatever it was.

And now she’s gone.

BBM

Or something that carried over from their life in Indiana

IMO

OK, at this moment in time, what do you believe?

1. BM lost his cool and committed a terrible act that resulted in SM's death
2. BM premeditated and then killed SM all on his own
3. BM did it, but had a bunch of help covering up, creating alibis, etc
4. BM hired it done and kept his hands clean
5. BM is a grieving widower, and has no clue what happened to his precious wife.

I've been trying to decide between 1 and 2, but have added 3 to my list of real possibilities.

Thoughts?
I’ll take door number 2, but I may wander over to door number 3. :)

There goes the nonexistent budget.

On a serious note:

“Our state does not deficit spend or borrow money like the federal government does. Those are dollars that may not actually exist, and that cannot happen in Colorado, so our ability to respond with new revenue just is not the same with how it works in Congress,” said Senate Minority Leader Chris Holbert, a Republican.

The U.S. Congress has no such restriction, allowing it to spend freely -- and the state will be relying on the feds for major stimulus efforts and the unemployment expansion.

“Those are the kinds of things that we're looking to the federal government to help the state through,” Moreno said.

[..]

In Colorado’s many tourism-dependent communities, the statewide stay-at-home order has hit particularly hard. For example, the town of Fairplay has already seen a sharp drop to traffic along U.S. 285 and Highway 9, popular routes for vacationers and people working in ski towns. That means less money spent at gas pumps and restaurants and, ultimately, less money in the town’s budget.

“We, like most Colorado municipalities, live and die by sales tax,” said Tina Darrah, town administrator for Fairplay.

MG certainly seemed to be suggesting there was something off about that beach site. If I were LE I think I'd be removing and either digging under or using ground-penetrating radar under those large erosion-control boulders...

If LE hasn’t done that yet, maybe Andy’s search team definitely will

MG may have also been instrumental in providing additional evidence to help secure the search warrant of the build site.

2. Premeditated all the way.

:D Even family must begin to question BM's judgement?.?.

Why are you hiring all of these people that you don't trust or like? To do a job on Mother's Day, out of town, that is a fix of a bumbled job to begin with?

Sure, it's all crystal clear now...o_O
Yeah, maybe he picked workers who had questionable pasts because he thought they wouldn't be believable if they were questioned.

That might be tricky as it's private property and would presumably need the landowner's permission, plus it's not like those rocks can be removed without heavy equipment, and need a skilled operator to replace them, which means cost.

Did we ever learn who pays for the cost incurred such as when they cut into the concrete at that same property earlier, which then obviously had to be redone to permit standards?

Sorry I can't make this larger, click to open and read-

ADDITIONAL PRESS RELEASE SENT AFTER MY STORY AIRED:

I am so relieved. To be honest I was a bit uncomfortable with the built up tension and knowing BM would be lurking.

This is GREAT news. I apologize to LS for doubting her approach!

Wow, this is great, so much information to process.

Just thinking about Barry and his workers. IMO - the reason Barry employs people who are experiencing issues with their mental health, AOD issues or ex prisoners etc is due to his narcissism. Narcs or similar type abusers like Barry need people that are easy to manipulate and who will be accommodating to them and put his needs before their own - therefore he targets people who most likely need the money and he knows they will overlook behaviours that a more emotionally healthy person wouldn't. He would be feeling so much rage at his disloyal workers right now.
Yes. He needs others around him who are worse off than he is, so he can feel superior to them. I bet he never lets them forget how lucky they are, that he helps them out.
