I pulled up Chaffee county and it's dead silent. Chaffee County Colorado Live Audio FeedsAnything going in the basement?
Exactly how I felt when I read it ... like it was HER FAULT she is missing which leads me to believe his mentality is stuck back in the 60’s - or worse “women should not be seen or heard.” I’m growling if you can’t tell ...I should have included the Fire Chief's actual quote instead of just paraphrasing it so I edited my post already. I think the word that rubbed me wrong was
"downfall." I guess I would never consider friendly to be a downfall.
“Her biggest downfall is the fact that she’s so friendly,” Bertram said of Suzanne. “She’s one of those people that wouldn’t hesitate to talk to anyone, to help anyone.”
50 and 240 area seems different than the original search area. Wasnt the original search area 225? Trying to locate 240 on a map and having trouble.
OH no this looks like LE ....The Palmer Lake Herald is now The Colorado Herald on FB. Here is a post with a photo from about an hour ago...
There is an additional photo from another person in the comments.
At Highway 50 & 240, close to Suzanne Morphew’s home, there appears to be a heavy law enforcement presence, with several evidence trucks in tow.

Does anyone know where this location of activity is in relation to where other pieces of evidence were found? Is this an area that may have been already searched ?
Oh yeah. Dennis the dog catcher. He even used the church’s computer to send taunting messages to the police. His murderous acts took place in my home town.
The tent is never a good sign. There appears to be a white tent, moo..
We’ve seen the “tents” before.
Colorado Herald seems to be the only current media source on this. Twitter is even quiet.
Wish I knew! It’s been hit or miss but KOAA 5 in Colo Spgs a possibility or any of the 4 Denver ones, CBS 4 had the copter up so I’ll check thereIf something breaks say this afternoon, which mainstream media would have coverage first? Denver ?
bbmI would like to know who first said that Suzanne went out on a bike ride. It would be interesting if someone said it, and then her bike was found abandoned. More interesting if all video footage of the path she would have taken reveals that she never rode by.
Colorado Herald is local. Denver is a good 2.5 hours away. It will take time for the "big" media to get there if this is related.
