GUILTY Conrad Murray Case - After The Trial & Verdict

Hi all; hope you are all enjoying the weekend :)

I actually enjoyed the interviewer on the UK version. He asked the tough questions and CM could not get away with his BS with him and brought out his temper to the point that he had to leave the interview. I could only imagine what Walgren would have done to him on cross. Apparently Chernoff knew that too and that is why he was so adamant that CM not take the stand.

One more thing I noticed in the UK interview where CM describes the "chamber" he was in -- he said he stayed by MJ's side throughout and was close by where he would have heard or noticed MJ when he was making telephone calls albeit the two minutes he went to the bathroom.

This also confirmed to me that there was no way MJ got up to go into another room to take any pills as CM would have seen him; nor did he have any time to self-inject. CM just sunk himself deeper and deeper into that hole he dug. If the jurors saw any of this I am sure they are high-fiving each other on making the right decision without a doubt.

I also believe MJ was dead while he was making those telephone calls (at least 47 minutes). He never once said he went in to check on him.

On a side note; don't know what channel I heard it on -- but says Chernoff has filed an emergency appeal on getting him out of jail until sentencing. Can't find anything on the net though.... as soon as I do will post.

Hi all

I haven't posted here in a while but I did watch all of the trial and was very relieved that this disgusting excuse for a doctor was found GUILTY for causing the tragic and untimely death of MJ.

I've also now watched both the UK and US versions of the 'crocumentary' and was surprised (but very pleased) to note that in the UK broadcast most of the derogatory comments about MJ were edited out and I have to give credit to Channel 4 for demonstrating at least a modicum of integrity and decency. Specifically, all of Mrs Flannigan's nastiness, Mr Flannigan's retort to Chernoff about MJ's 'weirdness' and Murray's allegations about bedwetting and mildew etc were not included in the UK version.

We did get an approx. 12 minute interview given by Murray to UK journalist Steve Hewlett though, which was shown at the start of the programme, so just incase you didn't see this further crock o' bull***t from Murray, here's the link: Conrad Murray: The Man Who Killed Michael Jackson - YouTube

:banghead: :furious: :puke:

WOW!!! Thank you so much, Devon, for your comments and posting the UK version.

What a difference in the two documentaries. Each one had a different impact on me ... from the interview
at the beginning to the different titles to omitting several offensive comments about MJ and inserting others.

The UK version - IMO - was more in favor of protecting Michael Jackson's image.

After seeing the US version, Friday night... and just now the UK one, I'm so much
more "pleased" with the UK documentary & the editing they did than the US version.

Especially the title change!

Thank you again... Devon!!!

"But they did not ask me. They did NOT ask me about that.
THEY didn't ask me. They didn't ASK me about that.
They did not ask ME! BUT they did not ask me those questions."

"HOW am I supposed to answer questions they did not ask me?" :furious:

What Murray (or Murphy... as his Defense Atty Flim-Flam Flanagan calls him :waitasec:) meant to say was:

"WHY am I supposed to answer questions they did not ask me?" :banghead:

Flim-flam-again! :floorlaugh:

They asked him what he had given his patient.

Did he expect them to really ask him if he gave MJ propofol?

This reminds me so much of other suspects when they say they were never asked THAT question.:innocent:

Oh for heavens sake. He is such a drama queen and liar.

He didn't tell them about leaving the room to make phone calls because they didn't ask him? Then how does he explain most of what else he said in that 2+ hour interview that had nothing to do with questions the detectives asked him.

I can't believe he is such a moron that he thinks anyone with any amount of common sense will believe his nonsense he says.

Credence posted upthread that she'd seen on tv that Chernoff has filed an emergency hearing to get CM out of jail while waiting on his sentencing hearing. Surely he doesn't think he stands any chance of that with all these interviews and documentary being aired.

I also find it curious that the British version of the documentary edited out most of the derogatory things CM said about MJ. I wonder if they have stricter laws regarding defamation and slander and that is why those comments CM made were edited out.

IMO

BBM

The reason the UK's Channel 4 edited the documentary and changed the title of it,
IMO is because they (Ch 4) have more admiration & respect for MJ.
They obviously don't like CM & they don't believe anything he says!

Channel 4 in the UK Rocks Big Time!!

Regardless of what MSNBC thought of MJ and/or CM, I wish they had aired the UK's Channel 4 edited version of the documentary....
including the 12 minute interview at the beginning (that MSNBC omitted) and used their title.... "Conrad Murray - The Man Who Killed Michael Jackson".

Channel 4's version of the documentary really did show a more realistic picture of Conrad Murray and how/what the man really is!!

Who really knows why they did it but I am glad they did. MJ is much loved in the UK so they may not have liked the tone of his interview. That is one of the main reasons he picked London for his 02 shows.

Ether Murray is wacko in the head or he knows he is never going to be a doctor again because he has broken every HIPPA violation under the sun. Private information remains in place concerning any patient even after their death and any ethical doctor knows that all too well.

I think these interviews will be used against him in the medical board hearings. And I believe all of this has been brought to the attention of Judge Pastor and David Walgren. Many times a Judge will consider if the felon has remorse for what they have done and of course here all we have is a pompous arrogant *advertiser censored** that blames everything on the victim.

It is sad that he mentioned MJ wetting the bed. The AR did show that MJ did have an enlarged prostate and took medicine that can cause incontinence. He even ridicules and demeans him when so many males suffer from the same thing through no fault of their own.

It is a shame that this horrid man will probably not do any time although I do think JP will sentence him to the full four years.

He deserves so much more time.

IMO

Oh boy! I actually think this British interview was the best one ever done of Conrad Murray. Note that he actually admits leaving the room. This is contrary to what the despicable Dr. White tried to suggest to the jury.

I have to believe that all of these interviews will be brought up during the sentencing hearing.

I also am curious about Gerald Posner's involvement with all of this. Seeing him in the back seat during the "crockumentary" was startling. But that little interchange about the Daily Beast also piqued my curiosity. I suspect Posner is writing a book. But he's up to his neck in something, and it ain't good.

bbm
-- Ooooohhh, good lick there, oosl!! Hmmmm. I do think that JP really does not like this man Murray. That interview will give him a little more weight when he goes to sentence him, IMO. Maybe that crocumentary will be good for another year of active duty in the jailhouse!

I frankly was astounded to hear these allegations coming from Dr Murray and I seriously have to question whether Murray is devoid of decency in making these very damaging claims that cannot be verified by anyone but him, or defended by Michael Jackson himself, as he is now dead.

Michael may not have been your average 50 year old man but the evidence against Dr Murray during the trial highlighting his negligence in caring for Michael in those final moments was shocking. I would have thought that if he were in receipt of $150,000 a month, then he would have ensured that Michael's care was top notch.

I do not believe Dr. Murray intentionally intended to harm Michael Jackson. His documentary appearance does though make it seem that he believes he is the victim in this situation. No Dr Murray, you were not. Michael Jackson was the victim who paid with his life.
One of the fundamental rules of practicing medicine is to do no harm. Using a dangerous drug such as propofol in the confines of Michael’s bedroom, and then leaving him unattended, all medical experts are agreed that this points to a severe dereliction of duty.

The documentary just aired will no doubt raise further questions about the ethics of the man who will go down in history as the one responsible for causing the death of a global icon.

Wow! I thank all the posters for all their wonderful thoughts.

This sad excuse for a Dr. He gave many many startiling remarks in the documentary, but when he mentioned in so many words that he didn't know what to do in the situation, he just gave in-HA! What a joke! He could have said no, turned, walked out the door and out of MJ's life with a little diginity, but he didn't because he hit paydirt and he flaunted it to the max with very little regard for MJ privacy, not to forget all that Propofol he was squirrelling away at his girlfriends apt. which for him acted as a clinic-Lying before he ever came face to face with his consequence he knew full well about.

Actually, Mr. Flanagan's law office is in Glendale and he lives in a spiffy area called San Marino, in an area that would rival parts of Beverly Hills. I'll say one thing for sure, never in my life I have ever seen such debauchery going on with a video crew while the trial was going full force. I know this thing was taped in part in 2009, 2010 or so they say, but there were a lot of parts that were taped recently while trial was in session. Oooh, I hope the Judge gives Murray the full 4 yrs in prison and not just county jail and I bet Judge Pastor sanctions them all, $300,000 it has been rumored Murray was paid and he will get nothing. Yea, sure, right. Nasty lowdown stuff he and his cronies pulled. :furious:

I hope Murray is fined or sued for breaking the patient's privacy rule.

Breaches of Doctor-Patient Confidentiality

Doctor-patient confidentiality is based upon the general principle that a person seeking medical help or advice should not be hindered or inhibited by fear that his or her medical concerns or conditions will be disclosed to others. There is generally an expectation that the physician will hold that special knowledge in confidence and use it exclusively for the benefit of the patient.

The professional duty of confidentiality covers not only what a patient may reveal to the doctor, but also what a doctor may independently conclude or form an opinion about, based on his or her examination or assessment of the patient. Confidentiality covers all medical records (including x-rays, lab-reports, etc.) as well as communications between patient and doctor, and generally includes communications between the patient and other professional staff working with the doctor.

The duty of confidentiality continues even after a patient has stopped seeing or being treated by the doctor. Once a doctor is under a duty of confidentiality, he or she cannot divulge any medical information about patients to third persons without patients' consent. There are limited exceptions to this, including disclosures to state health officials. However, unauthorized disclosure to unauthorized parties may create a cause of action against the doctor.

This is so true. Huge confidentiality breach on so many levels. So much for Murray being so much of a good friend, hu?:banghead:. Almost seems as if he told the world, not to mention his girlfriends and other patients, very personal things about Michael-All this while we saw the photos of Murray going up to Forest Lawn and looking so forlornly way prior to trial. From what I understand, the documentary that was shown last week, isn't the half of it. I read something about a complete documentary ready for distribution in 2012. That's the one that supposedly being peddled to various media outlets for up to 1 million dollars. How many media events did he do anyways? I'm beyond sure now that the recording he said he didn't know he had on his phone until it was heard at trial was held for some kind of blackmail. Maybe to secure himself financially if things fell through, maybe to destroy MJ as so many tried to do to him in prior years. Murray is very rude and very condensending. He'll get his.:furious:

Wow, look at this video. It is a tour of the mansion Michael lived in when he died.

"An attorney for Jackson matriarch Katherine Jackson said that the family is aware of the auction and
has made certain that the event does not use Michael's name or likeness to help sell the items
;
Jackson's name is not mentioned in the promotional materials for the auction."

http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1674021/michael-jackson-house-content-auction.jhtml

The announcement of the sale and the catalogue listing the items, do not mention Michael Jackson by name,
but according to this video and other media reports, Julien Auctions is in fact using MJ's name to increase
the value of the house & it's contents (sold separately). But then, who wouldn't?

In order to obtain a part of MJ, I'm sure there are a lot of MJ fans and MJ memorabilia collectors who are glad they did.

If I had the money, I'd probably attend the auction and bid on something. Preferably the armoire! :)

Thanks for this! I'd sure would like to know when this video was shot. OMG. When Michael had passed, a lot and I do mean a lot of his personal property was taken out of that home reportedly by his family, the rest was left because technically it was reported the rest of the items came as a complete leased, ready to move into home=furnished. There was a mystery also because although on paper Michael by way of AEG had the house pre paid leased until Dec 09 or maybe it was even later like into Feb '10. After the house was cleared out after he had passed away, another person came in, bought it and completely redid the inside and then it was sold again and the new owners supposedly were doing a lot of complaining because the fans still go by there, along with the Hollywood Tour vans. That little area off of Sunset is rich in Hollywood history. W. Disney lived up the road on Carolwood, then across Sunset, on the other side used to sit 3 very historic mansions, 1 owned by Jayne Mansfield then E. Humperdinck-The Pink Palace with the heart shaped swimming pool, across from that was B. Streisand's 1st Hollywood home and then at the end of the cul de sac was where Sonny and Cher used to live. Going on the back side off Carolwood is Monovale, where E. Presley lived for a very short time when he 1st came to Hollywood to make those movies of his before he moved way up to Hillcrest. Sadly, they are all gone now, but used to be what Old Hollywood was all about.

Very sad, once again people are out to make a buck off of things that Michael touched or Michael slept in. Just like the time, 2 or 3 days after Michael passed, there was that auction of some of his things in Las Vegas-So Inhumane!:furious:

And my bet is there will be photos and more voice recordings made without Michael's permission. Sick Animal.

Me too! there was 1 little item that caught my eye when 'the handlers' were trying to sell off some of the things from Neverland prior to Michael passing on-that auction was stopped-same people were handling it-Julien's. It was this little red choo choo train tea kettle. When the water boiled, the wheels on it went round and round and it had an actual train toot toot whistle and chug chug sound. No clue whatever became of that kettle, would have loved to have it though:seeya:

I would not doubt this one bit, not one bit. You know he will get in his last word, either by himself saying it or handing it off to somebody else to do his bidding for him while he's in the joint. I shouldn't say it, but if ever anybody ever needed a more serious azz whooping, ya know? :rocker:
