Do truck drivers get a great deal on cruises? Because what I'm seeing is the west coast cases are related to travel at the onset, then local spread. Be it airflights from China or on Korea, or cruises. That seems to be the nidus event.
single, older men used to get offers of FREE cruises here in FL. Because there's so many
single older women (widows ?).

The father and sister of a coronavirus patient violated self-quarantine to go to a school function

The father and sister of a coronavirus patient in the US state of Missouri disregarded a quarantine and went to a school function on Saturday.

The patient, who is in her 20s, reported feeling sick after returning from Italy on March 2. Health officials who advised her to get tested, and she was confirmed as Missouri's first presumptive positive case on Saturday.

The patient's family had been advised to self-quarantine at their home in Ladue as they awaited test results, said St. Louis County Executive Sam Page.

That night the patient's father defied these instructions and went to a school function with another daughter.

"The way the family has reacted to this situation is really a tale of two reactions, and a study of how people should and should not react to the coronavirus."

Health and county officials learned about the father's actions Sunday and told him that he needs to stay in isolation. If he does not comply with orders, health officials will seek a court order and "issue a formal quarantine that will require him and the rest of his family to stay in their home by the force of law."

Six dead in Italy prison riots after visits suspended due to coronavirus

Six prisoners have died in a Modena prison after riots broke out in several Italian jails following the suspension of visits to curb the spread of the coronavirus.

Riots occurred on Sunday in Modena, Frosinone, Naples, Pavia, Alessandria and Foggia prisons.

"The protests concerned the coronavirus emergency, as well as the measures issued by the government to reduce the risk of infection and protect those who lives and works within the prison," the statement wrote.

During the Modena prison riot, prisoners occupied the entire prison including the infirmary where they got hold of various drugs including methadone.

Two of the dead died of an overdose, one of inhalation of toxic smoke and three died after all the inmates were moved to another prison -- those deaths are still being investigated.

In Modena, all inmates have been moved to nearby buildings as the prison is unusable.

our school is insisting they will never close no matter what.

Hey, our local HS Band is heading to Disney for a week. They play in the parade and other events.

Still can't believe the state or local officials are condoning this. I hope the locals have a plan in case our kids are quarantine in Florida or Hospitalized.
