I wish I had 6-8 weeks vacation. Gonna have to rely on the daily news recaps. This has been a long time coming.

52 days and counting...

I totally had missed this interview.:waitasec:

I cant believe only one more calendar month after march and then it's showtime, it seemed like it would NEVER happen!

~~~justice for caylee~~~
This may be a little O/T, but not really. I would not be surprised to see a new Casey at trial. I've thought for the longest time she is growing her hair to donate to Locks of Love, to show what a thoughtful and generous person she is. She will be in different clothes, and wearing a little makeup. JMO.
Do you think the jury notices will go out this week? So many have speculated the jury will come from Miami-Dade; it will be exciting to see which county will supply the jurors.
Of course I will follow the trial. I've invested too much time and care tremendously about little Caylee.
I have a few predictions:
* No plea from ICA
* George and Cindy each will be warned by the judge during their testimony, more than once.
* ICA will have an outburst sometime during the testimony from her brother, Lee.
* The trial will last 6 weeks mainly because the defense won't have much of a case to present.
* More than one witness will perjure themselves.
Sorry no prediction about the outcome. You're on your own.
Enjoying this thread.
I work from home so planning on watching in the daytime and working at night while hubby and little one are sleeping! I have followed this story/case from day one. I'll never forget my mom calling in July 2008 to tell me there was a grandma on Nancy Grace and her granddaughter had been missing for 30 days. I'll never forget - "THE GRANDMA SAYS HER DAUGHTER IS A GREAT MOM AND THE NANNY STOLE THE BABY!" wow, what my mom and I have learned since then!
I can't open certain things on WB's until I have a certain number of posts, so decided I better start posting before the trial.
and of course, Justice for Caylee!
GracieLu - so glad you are posting! Would love to hear your thoughts in the coming days.
I really hope they air the trial on hln or court tv or something.. My husband is wanting to watch it also. We work all day and can't watch things like that in our offices!!! I hope they do air it so we can DVR it! And watch in the evenings when we get home!!!
It will be on InSession ,TruTV,which used to be Court TV. Unfortunately ,they have looong commercials for their upcoming shows and commentary from their "experts" who don't always know the facts,so viewing the trial is often interrupted.They also end at 3pm :banghead:
You can also live stream it on your computer.There will be plenty of links up.
When the trial finally starts, I really hope someone tells Cheney Mason "LOL"! :floorlaugh:
(Lots of luck, of course!)
I'm hoping that TruTV will cover the whole thing, and not end at 2:00.
Too funny! I spend my time getting annoyed at the commentators on any of the shows so prefer to watch the livestream on cnn or any of the stations that don't require refreshing.
I feel pretty confident the tech brains on WS will have the sites well sorted for us before the trial.
Also, can't believe how time is finally zooming - it feels like yesterday it was Jan 2011 and we were saying okay - finally - this year. Now it is almost tomorrow by the time Easter is over with - Ta Da! Showtime!
I'm one that thinks she could take a plea at the last moment. She has a very poor outlook for this trial, and she can't but help to see how poorly this is going. Like when the detectives took her to Universal and she walked all the way up to the door she said was her office before backing down... I think she will back down here too, and again at the last minute, especially if she is offered some years with the possibility of parole, say 20-30 years, I think she will take it. The state might be willing to make her an offer because it will save them a lot of money not to have the trial.
We are currently stationed in Germany. We were back home in Oklahoma when Caylee was murdered. I have followed this case closely. but have had to resort to internet info since last summer when we arrived here. My questions are :
Will this case be completely televised like the OJ trial?
How can I watch everything that is televised? Is there someplace on the internet that will have it in its entirety?
Thanks guys!
So when does Jury selection begin? Does that start before the trial begins or in May at the start of the trial ?
Many Thanks
Charleyann
I'm sure at the very least, WESH will be covering it. All of the hearings have been covered live as well by CNN, WESH, and a couple of others. If you check back here, there will be threads on the trial and generally there are links posted to live feeds on the internet at the beginning of the threads (just as there has been for the hearings).
:fireworks: 41 days!! :fireworks:
Jury duty notices should be going out this week or next week!!
Not sure if it is ok to start, but I think it would be interesting to have a thread to discuss the jury. :waitasec:
There are so many intelligent, experienced people here, and I would love to see what folks think about the people that each side will be looking for.
As for me, I just don't know. I would think grandparents would be bad for the defense, good for prosecution. Young mothers or fathers would be bad. Single people, married people, educated, uneducated - ALL BAD for defense, but good for prosecution. :dunno:
