And it was a chance meeting on 5/31 when EE drove up to 4JC with the Porsche seats and LE talked to him a bit then. Since EE was driving a FORE vehicle that day, I wonder if the Tacoma was sitting in the driveway. Dumb move on the part of FD not being able to orchestrate out of that encounter. Really dumb. Seems like EE would have driven his truck home for the weekend. Don't think FD was too happy at that point. IMO.

Another possibility is that FD saw the Albany Ave search on the news that afternoon, and panicked and realized he had to get those seats changed out ASAP. Once LE pulled the license plates out of the drain and ran them on the computer in the car, bingo! FD must have known they’d be coming for him soon.
FD might have told EE he had to change out the seats before going home that day, which would have been a weird request in a Friday afternoon.
The warrant didn’t say what time the detectives saw EE with the seats in the Cherokee at 4JC on the 31st but LE was there by 6:30pm with a search warrant and to escort FD and MT for DNA samples. Who was that driving the white Cherokee with MT daughter in the video/pics that night? FD gets into the passenger seat of the Cherokee at some point while LE is there during that video IIRC.

First, I know FD and MT are guilty, but even if I was innocent, I might do something like write down all I could think of to prove my whereabouts. It would be the truth but I'd want to write down everything knowing I was a suspect. I'd want to think back about little things I did or where I went that I had no way of knowing would be important at the time.

As far as JD keeping the door open on her short trip to the school and back: I am not so sure that she definitely would have closed it. A person gets tired of living in fear and she had been out of the house for 2 years. Sometimes, you start to feel that your fears are unfounded and that if nothing has happened yet, nothing is going to happen. You let your guard down a little because wow, really hard mentally and physically to be so hyper vigilant at all times. IMO.

Very possible, however, FO could not have counted on JF making that mistake.

IMO, FO planned to hide just behind the garage and sneak in just before JF closed the garage door.

IF, the door was left open, then he would have options on where to hide, including behind the second vehicle in the garage.

Thanks for posting - the court transcript was an interesting read. FD appears to get a bit testy and defensive. Some things I learned:

• According to FD's accounting, his expenses exceeded his income. But, he was able to pay credit card bills with a 401(K) loan AND an IRS loan.
• He reimbursed himself for business expenses in advance
• He had "communication errors" with himself while recording his financial information
• He commingled personal and business funds

IMO his proclaimed "losses" became a profit elsewhere. MOO!

According to EE’s interview with LE (which he gave to LE on 7/12/19 and was detailed in AW2) that on 5/28/19 EE was at 4Jax (Fore Group HQ and soon to be former home of FoDu if the foreclosure proceedings go through via GF’s steel will and determination) with MT and FD. MT and FD were discussing a timeline that they needed to give to LE. FD asked EE if FD had called EE on the morning of the 24th. FD asks EE about EE’s activity on the 24th and if EE had seen anything on EE’s drive to NC and asked EE what route EE had driven from NC to Farmington on the afternoon of 5/24.

EE decides this is also a dandy time (possibly not entirely realizing he is in the midst of actual KILLERS—OMG y’all imagine in retrospect how EE must be viewing all this now!) to mention that he saw that his keys were in the door to the Tacoma when he arrived at 80 Mountain Spring and that when he returned from shuttling cars around the Tacoma was locked and keys were gone and MT wasn’t there and FD had to call MT to bring back keys at EE’s request.

Naturally, because FD is such a protector of lady folk he tells EE not to mention the key/Tacoma/MT deal to LE because he wants MT left out of it.

This is all while FD is getting super agitated with EE for not removing the seats in the Tacoma that were there on the 24th and replacing them or just outright selling the Tacoma. FD calling the seats “hardware.”

I think that perhaps the GAL clued FD and by extension MT that they needed a timeline during FDs brief conversation with GAL on 5/25 or 5/26 before FD tried to go to NY and was rebuffed by GF security guard. But they were in the full scale planning phase.

Which is odd because neither FD and MT had any intention to speak to LE as FD had already declined an interview 5/25. Both were listed in AW1 dated June 1 as being uncooperative by police. So this was likely for attorney Bowman? At the time whom both had met with at least on 5/29?

My guess is that if we looked at the DA articles in HC, CT Post where Pattis leaks and sometimes the SA then we could have a pretty good proxy for the 'Alibi Scripts'! Just toss in some random phone calls to friends and family and time on the computer etc. and they should be good to go! I am waiting for the FD phone log for the morning of the 24th as that might be interesting. Wonder if it was MT role to 'answer' the phone and I wonder also if she pretended to be FD?

These 'Alibi Scripts' IMO simply make MT and FD burnt toast!

My pleasure! I was out of pocket for so long between my job training and caring for my aunt with dementia that I feel I need to contribute with the gusto now!

Now training is finished and my aunt is safe back in her home getting the care she needs and I am officially working from home!

It’s crazy to think about the situations EE found himself in alone with MT and FD on May 24 and 28. Yikes and the insistence that EE take FDs Raptor by FD on the 24th. So glad he refused but I mean he was talking to someone who had just murdered his own wife and done gosh knows what with her remains. JMO ofcourse! . Scary!

I will see if I can get an answer on the cameras. As I've said the Town has historically fought cameras for years but maybe the illegal dumping situation has gotten so bad that they did put them at the Transfer Station? IDK.

He had visitation as ordered/approved by the custody Judge in 5/25 and 5/26. As well as on Wednesday’s. I believe he knew JDs plans for that Friday. How he knew could be a lot of reasons but he knew. I think he figured once he got the kids for 5/25 and JD still missing he’d just get to keep them which is why he was so giddy when he called the GAL asking MM if he had “heard the news” about JD being missing. JMO as always.

He thought he had it set up so well:
Holiday weekend
He’d get the kids
JD won’t be able to show up in court
He makes big push for custody
Blah blah blah. I bet he plays that loop over and over in his head.

Also am waiting for more mudslinging from NP: attack JD, EE, MT and anyone else that could get in the way or possibly make FD look like the evil controlling manipulative abusive OCD adulterer and mooch that he is.

Also, the GG theory is so laughable that I feel like I should attack it early and often until MSM starts repeating how ludicrous it is on its face.

When she left him in 2017 she left with the kids and was in fear for herself and filed a TRO which wasn’t granted. A woman who bore five children into her forties and went through infertility treatments to bear them would just leave because her health may or may or may not be an issue?

A woman brave enough to reschedule the movers four times?

A woman brave enough to try and stay in her own house when she could have moved in with her parent if she really didn’t want to try and make a go of it?

This woman was a brave woman.

Not the coward FD is. Honestly. He was barely there for most of their marriage traveling for 3-4 months tomcatting around and partying and waterskiing and he finally found someone as morally bankrupt as he is to hang with and have that “beautiful life.”

He had a beautiful life it’s just that his moral compass rejected it for MT. Someone so utterly unattractive on the outside that it’s affecting her outside appearance. That’s what he dumped his life for...that. And honestly if he’d just let JD alone and live and move on with her life he and miss Super Grifter could be hanging out and plotting the next person they were gonna rip off.

Now it’s just bars and concrete and public shaming that awaits them both and should continue to happen

I can see this idea playing out in a number of ways.

We heard in Family Court that FD was incensed by JD claims that NC was for whatever reason superior to Farmington.

Could this drive him to put her body in Farmington just to be perverse or would he do the opposite and bury her in an unknown location in NC?

I always wondered about the Pound Ridge GF house that was sold over the past few months where FD built a guest house. It appears this house and the adjoining lake were cleared by LE but would FD have placed the body at this location?

Originally I thought the water ski pond or that area would be perfect for revenge fantasy as FD loved it and JD was 'meh' about it! But it looks like this was cleared by LE as well so IDK.

Whatever he did I would guess it to be hate driven and perhaps some place he knew she hated.

I could see the water ski pond because it was a quarry, right? (Fact check me, please.) Quarries are deep and drop off immediately. By Jennifer’s own words, that body of water is murky. An athletic woman 5’9” and only 120 pounds would be a sinker after exhaling while alive. Dead she could sink in a contractor bag with water and a few rocks. I know the boats zip at waterski speed, but the shape of a quarry is more like a pool- he could put her near a corner.

Kudos on trying to put yourself into the head of No Case Norm! I simply didn't have the courage to do so and frankly was more than a little bit scared to do so after he shared he was on his therapists couch 4 days a week! FD said on Dateline that he was 'enamored' of MT which to me was simply shorthand for she was a poor JD substitute and just good for a short term shag type of relationship IMO--kinda like a short term 'netflix and chill' but with a 12 yr old daughter dragged into the mess IMO. MT was a placeholder 'low quality pony' IMO in the life of FD and he knew JD was the 'real deal/thoroughbred pony' and he was furious that she packed her bags and the children and fired up the Suburban and didn't even look in the rear view mirror at his.

Keep thinking and posting about being 'inside the mind of Norm Pattis' as I will anxiously wait in anticipation of your posts but I simply don't have the courage right now to go there!

With you on all of the above in OP!

Just finished reading this document about FD and his finances via some testimony (or not) made in Family Court before Judge Heller. Kudos to Judge Heller for not becoming a full time resident in "Silver Hill" after listening to this testimony for any length of time as it was painfully obvious FD didn't want to share any information with the court or JD.

I think I see now where Atty Weinstein is going now in the civil case and IMO it makes alot of sense. I just hope the State Authorities and Peoples Bank are looking at the financial information provided by FD/FORE (or not) as it looks like there could be some 'issues' that require some additional due diligence and certainly inquiry IMO. Reading between the lines here I wonder if this is the period around when Loan Officer Sue Morin was called to court and she invoked her 5th amendment right to self incrimination. IMO this would make sense as reading what FD was supposedly providing the bank looked insufficient for a loan of $50 let alone potentially millions!

The brief glimpse into FD and his then Atty (Pytranker) https://www.avvo.com/attorneys/06905-ct-yakov-pyetranker-1895918.html in action with Judge Heller in Family Court.

IMO the testimony from FD was painful in that it was quite clear that he didn't want to explain much of anything. But what was stunning to me was that it appeared he took pieces of paper to his attorney and the attorney compiled the financial information on behalf of his client. What atty would take this risk? Yikes. Most would say have your accountant get this to me ASAP. But not this atty so he looks like he was 'in' on the 'game'.

My take aways followed @nina318 above but include:

-FD seemed to have an active relationship with Farmington Bank/now Peoples Bank
-FD would prepare financial updates for the bank to support his borrowing requests
-So far as I can see there was NO CPA as part of any of these discussions and I'm shocked that the Bank didn't require statements prepared by a CPA and current tax returns.
-FD income stated in court was many 1,000's short of his expenses and so it looks like he was engaged in an exercise of simply moving money around from one place to another place to cover his needs, including the use of credit cards. IMO this is a huge red flag.
-Interview portions listed I believe were from 2018 so this had been going on for awhile IMO.
-Wonder if MT knew where the money was/wasn't coming from.
-FD hadn't been able to fully pay the IRS so seemed like he was on some kind of repayment plan
-Did the Bank know about the situation with the IRS?
-Does the State of CT know about the situation with the IRS?
-Quickbooks records again were mentioned as being requested but not supplied by FD/FORE.

I'm surprised that Judge Heller didn't jump on this situation given her history in corporate litigation. Shocked actually. The idea that this hadn't been resolved in the divorce is stunning given that it had been in process for over 2 years.

Does anyone know the penalty for filing false statements in a divorce action? Forget the divorce action penalties, what are the criminal penalites for wire/bank fraud?

Will read these documents again later but on the surface this looks hugely damning IMO to FD.

Why was Judge Heller unable to enforce compliance and compel a forensic accounting?

JD Atty is a known master of the game of "HARDBALL" and I am frankly shocked that he wasn't able to make any headway with what appeared to be a complete charade by FD/FORE.

Lots to digest here IMO. None of this is unsurprising but I am more than a bit shocked that this was allowed to go on for as long as it seemed to and still hasn't been resolved?

At what point does someone get put in jail for this level of non compliance?

The sad thing is that these issues are still playing out today in Civil Court where FD has not supplied Quickbook records that were due to that court in early 2018. Nothing has happened to punish FD in Civil Court either even though there is a pending Default Action by GF.

To me, it looks like the money from FORE and FIL is long gone. Wonder where the money went?

I see it was parked there at 7:40, and still at 7:57 (via school bus shot)- does it show it as being there later? If so, I don't see it. 7:57 is enough time to get to her house by 8:05, but is close.

If it shows it as being there later (I can't find that) she could have dropped him off first at that same area, however. Guess we need timelines for each truck.

IMO, IF FO had someone dropping him off, why would FO park at Waveny by 7:06 am and sit there for 51 minutes and then only leave himself 8 minutes to get to 69WL before JF returns from the school drop off?

IMO, Why not just go straight to the area around 69WL, get dropped off, and then have the driver wait at Waveny?

IMO, Even getting dropped off on the street behind 69WL is a 6 minute drive from the spot on Lapham even Without school traffic and he would still need to walk through the woods to the back of the house. It would not have given him enough time to be certain to arrive Before JF returned from the school at 8:05 am.

IMO, He could not have even guaranteed what time JF would return, depending on what time she left the house, type of traffic at the school, whether she stopped to talk to a teacher, etc, etc.

According to the CCTV footage timing on the Merritt, this is how LE puts EE's red truck at Waveny immediately after the Bus cam drives down Lapham at 7:05 am.

IMO, IF FO did not go straight to Waveny after passing the NC Rest Area at 7:03 am, then what did he do until 7:40 am when the red truck is seen at Waveny?

IMO, I just do not see it.

IMO, he gave himself plenty of time and would not have waited until the last second.

Yes. He wanted no connection to the murder scene, and that was the reason for using that particular vehicle.

Even if that car was spotted, it wouldn’t be immediately connected to him.

He banked on no one connecting that car to him and this crime.

I really don't want to make a strong statement about MT. 1. Because I know the vitriol that comes forth 2. Because I don't really have a handle on her. I have said before I don't think she is a good person but I don't know enough to be sure about anything. I know she went along with the affair with a married man with 5 children and is caught up in this murder. Terrible.
I feel I know FD through and through. MT, not so much.

She is right about the above. You really don't know who you are. You don't even know how that happened. Know what I used to jokingly tell people? "I used to be a strong, independent woman. Now I just say and do whatever X tells me". I did not realize until later how prophetic and true that was. And I was never bullied in any way.
I also think co-dependency is a way over-used term and is just a catch all now for whatever ails a person. From the article you referenced:

2. Is it difficult to say no when your partner makes demands on your time and energy?
3. Do you cover your partner’s problems with drugs, alcohol, or the law?

None of this applied to me in any way. MY nightmare started after the split when the mask came off. I was truly the happiest I had ever been in my entire life. I trusted the sociopath with my life and my heart. And I had no idea what the scheme was or all the things I didn't know. You ARE like a zombie after this. I am 4 years out and I will NEVER be the same. People think you are a fool for allowing it, they don't believe you or think you deserved it. MT was undoubtedly told many, many lies about Jennifer and the divorce. There was an MT type in my life too. I do not have sympathy for the predicament these women are in but I know how it happens. If FD came home to 4JC and told MT that there has been a terrible accident/self defense, she would have believed him. No question. IME.

Thank you for sharing your experiences. It is difficult for many people to understand what happens when a person has the misfortune of partnering with malignant narcissist. Early on in Ted Bundy's killing career, way back in Seattle, he was murdering/raping women while being engaged to be married to a kind, naive young woman. (I am not saying MT was either of these things). Although some of what Bundy told her he was up to during that time period did not add up, she never dreamed he was raping and killing women within blocks of where he lived.

Malignant narcissists are very, very skilled at hiding behind a mask of good guy, until the mask slips and the monster emerges. Their crimes are not limited to murder, though. They are also extremely proficient at planning and concealing financial misconduct. By the time their poor victims begin suspecting something is wrong, their money is long gone. LE is surely following the money trail here. That trail is going to lead straight to Greece. His crimes did not begin with Jennifer's murder IMO.
