Is FD timing The response time of parole/LE officers or monitoring company to his house? This would give him the approximate time where he can escape before Someone actually comes to check on him in person, not just a phone call. He realizes even more now he is in trouble and escape is his only out. That’s why he wanted the monitor on his wrist, easy off. JMOO.

If the judge gives him only a warning, he will try to flee

The guy thinks he is smarter than the universe. To date, his antics have worked, but he's not in family court anymore and the rules of engagement have changed. Failing to charge the battery once? Okay, maybe an oversight. Failing to charge it 4 times and AFTER you've been told to? Deliberate. Where I come from, he would be going to jail, but I'm not in CT. This judge strikes me as a straight forward fellow; I don't think he is going to put up with too much from Dulos. And I agree, he is testing the system IMO.

Alathea here is another picture of when she is getting into her car (after court) making the same symbol with her two fingers again. IMO definitely signaling FD. “You and me”

I am going to hope that’s a signal for her daughter like, “I’m going to do the right thing now for you” and that her daughter knows that’s why she does it. Or some habit. If I were her lawyer, I’d be asking because of the concern about her allegiance still with FD especially if she’s trying to say she’s cooperating. I’m not a lawyer so definitely this is MOO but it seems like at this point, she better be all in—or she’ll be all out. She can’t save FD no matter what. MOO.

I don’t know for sure. Point is NO ONE rallying around him like MT family. That I have seen or heard of. No Hellenic Water Skiing Assn. No Philadelphia tannery business. No mention of Greek Church priests or parishioners. No ex-workers/employees. NP and crew. Not even his lawyers/ex lawyers from divorce. Lawyer buddy, wife assaulter. Even media might be covering events, but supportive? Not IMO.
All the rats have jumped ship. And the captain will go down with the ship.
I’m still betting he’ll make a run for it. Like the husband of another sleuther. That’s why he wants it on his wrist. Easier to remove.
He needs to have bond revoked. I’ve always maintained he’s a flight risk.

Agree completely

On the sideways peace sign, I looked and found several unofficial accounts of what it means on several sites, mostly related to teens and Europe (need to read the rules again to see if we can post the names of other sites). Every one I saw—and I could not find an authoritative source—said it’s peace or peace out; others said it’s called chunking or showing a deuce and signifies peace out, and two said it means things like peace out, I’m over this, sarcasm, love, etc. If I had to guess based on what I found and where, it’s something teens do most so I’m thinking this is more related to MT’s daughter than to FD. But MOO. I hope it’s to her daughter for the daughter’s sake. MOO.

I’m 7 pages behind, but just in case someone hasn’t made this suggestion- It looks like the “back” of a St. Benedict Medal. The size of the inner cross and how it is situated inside a smaller engraved circle, is similar. I can’t make out any letters that would be on it, but they may be there.
Makes sense too, because the St Benedict Medal is meant to protect against evil- it chases away the devil.
It’s the “Begone, Satan” medal!

Edit: hahaha read one page further and saw @ZoriahNZ spotted the medal too!

So who’s the devil, according to MT? Colangelo?

Its unclear to me when LE took the FD vehicles under warrant.

It is possible to use wifi to make phone calls or send texts and this could have been a way around cell tracking IMO. We also don't know if FD had an ipad or tablet as this could easily be used to make/receive texts and phone calls. We have mentioned burner phone option as well but unfortunately have no info about these devices in this case.

But depending on the packages in place I believe calls can be made via onstar in the Suburban. I wouldn't think FD would take the Raptor to pick up the children as I don't think it had enough space. I don't think we have talked about the Raptor telecom capabilities via the GPS system or infotainment system extensively and I don't know if a call can be made from the Raptor without a cell phone being present. We don't know much about the FD Jeep Cherokee and we don't know if the Tahoe rental was taken to NYC to pick up the children either?

Lots of questions about the vehicles and the communication device options!

MOO
Just to straighten out the timeline:
You have FD arriving in NYC on 5/25 , 12AM?
I’ve been trying to get any verification on vehicle used to make that trip- when there was some conversation earlier about consciousness of guilt, and his intentions during the visit.
We were discussing the seat capacity of vehicle taken would hint at whether he was putting in a show of concern, or might have had intent to abscond w the children.
Someone thought there were pics of him in NYC, but it turned out to be body guard. I can’t find anything on car he used for that visit, and this is the first I heard it was so late!

It kinda peeves me that NP's derogatory nickname for MT keeps getting used by MSM. It's playing into the defense's hands in the PR game. Imagine if they ran with "Abusive cheating husband" or "Narcissistic bully" every time they described the defendant. If MT is a liar, what the heck does that make FD then?
Good point!!

I've been puzzling this out and just wonder whether what we have been seeing from MT now for months is just typical 'denial' as a psychological defense to help her make through the situation? Denial is a powerful tool of the mind and sometimes it takes a long time and alot of therapy to make it to the other side! IDK.

You describe the situation as MT possibly seeing herself be 'victimized' but to me this is just another way of abdicating personal responsibility as being a person involved in a relationship and making choices along the way on how to proceed. But, it seems like if MT and her family believe her to be 'victimized' that its not all that different from denial in that it is a process to look at the situation and change the view and see that yes in fact she did have a role in what happened to her.

I do wonder though if MT simply cannot come to terms with the overall horror of the situation and is actually way beyond denial or victim feelings and is simply in shock and effectively 'shut down'?

I'm asking these questions here as I'm trying myself to understand what we are seeing in MT and I'm trying to get how someone can lie for over 2 months to LE when its most likely in their best interest to cooperate with LE? Where is the anger in MT? Maybe she is so out of it that she cannot yet even feel plain simple anger which is about as basic an emotion as exists I think.

IDK. I just hope Atty Bowman or the MT Family get her psychological help if that is what is required as what seems to have happened is not doing her any favors regarding her legal situation IMO.
MOO
I think she’s more wiley than you do! I think she’s been playing both sides and watching the movements before she makes her decision. We see “best interests” in a healthier, more normal?, way than she does. Her choices, at least those visible to us, have seemed to be made totally based on self-interest, and devoid of empathy for others. As she watches the pendulum swing back and forth between LE, evidence, FD, civil lawsuit, money, properties, GPS monitors , I believe she’ll make a move to throw herself onto the mercy of the court -or make a deal, ONLY if she decides she if completely out of options anywhere else. IMO these two didn’t go through with this plan without an end game. We just haven’t seen it yet.

I am going to hope that’s a signal for her daughter like, “I’m going to do the right thing now for you” and that her daughter knows that’s why she does it. Or some habit. I would bet her lawyer has no clue that she has even done it.

Am doing the old skim and scan to catch up on the discussion. One of the things I don't understand about the monitoring devices is who is in charge of monitoring them?
From some of the discussions it appears that the bonding agencies do this. Is that correct? How often do the companies write reports to the court? What is considered a serious breach of security? For instance, if the battery went to zero, would the bonding company call the person wearing the device or notify local PD?

This entire situation is unclear to me.
All I have to say is this isn’t how it worked in Disturbia. All Shia had to do was go past a boundary around his house and police cars pulled up with sirens screaming!!

Judge orders Fotis Dulos to appear in court for GPS monitoring issues
Judge John Balwie has scheduled a 2 p.m. hearing for Monday after probation officials raised concerns that Fotis Dulos was not properly recharging the batteries on his GPS monitoring system, his legal team said Wednesday. The problem has apparently happened four times in the past month.
A man presumed innocent apparently needs his battery adjusted,” defense attorney Norm Pattis said Wednesday night. “As the Wicked Witch of the West once said, ‘What a world!’”

Fotis Dulos won't say how attorneys are being paid
A judge has sided with Fotis Dulos, ruling this week that his company will not have to undergo a review of business finances as part of the $2.5 million lawsuits filed against him by his mother-in-law.
Hartford Superior Court Judge Cesar Noble issued the ruling Tuesday, one day after attorney William Murray, representing Fotis Dulos, filed an objection to the inspection.

Notice Issued: 09/18/2019
Docket Number: HHD-CV-18-6088970-S
Case Caption: FARBER, GLORIA, EXECUTOR OF THE ESTATE OF HILLIARD v. FORE GROUP, INC. Et Al
Notice Sequence #: 9

JDNO NOTICE

ORDER REGARDING:
08/20/2019 198.00 OBJECTION RE DISCOVERY OR DISCLOSURE

The foregoing, having been considered by the Court, is hereby:
ORDER: OVERRULED

The court overrules all objections as follows:

Request for Production #4. The objection is overruled. The disclosure of the financial statements sought is reasonably calculated to lead to the discovery of admissible evidence as they may contain information relevant to how the defendant, Fotis Dulos and/or Fore Group, characterized funds obtained from Hilliard Farber, i.e., whether as loans or gifts, and/or evidence relevant to the third count of the complaint asserting a claim to pierce the corporate veil as the statements may show signs of commingling of funds. Prac. Book § 13-2. Finally, any interest in the confidentiality of the records, sealed or not, is over ridden by the requirements of disclosure in this civil action.

Request for Production #5. The objection is overruled. The disclosure of expense reimbursements documentation is reasonably calculated to lead to the discovery of admissible evidence as relevant to the allegations of the third count seek to pierce the corporate veil of Fore Group Inc. and its predecessor companies.

I'm really not sure that we would see the group of them looking the way they appeared today if there was a deal of any sort on the table? This looked like a grim group IMO walking into court and Bowman looked like he had taken a body blow IMO when he showed up at Troop G. If there were a deal and things were resolved with the State IMO we would see a more relaxed outlook from Bowman and MT and the charges filed this last go around for AW2 would not mirror FD. Just a guess but perhaps State is playing hardball with MT given her past lying and wasting time? Bowman by nature isn't very animated but these past 2 appearances (Troop G and today) showed him appearing almost resigned to some situation that I'm not sure we understand. Perhaps Colangelo has said he doesn't need MT and is just letting her hang for awhile with the huge uncertainty of the overall situation? IDK. But the report from the NH reporter of tears in the courtroom was telling I think. Maybe Colangelo feels comfortable enough with the evidence in place to not feel compelled to work hard to deal with MT? IMO something might be up. Perhaps they told her that she will be charged with murder and that resulted in tears? Can you imagine hearing that news? IDK. Something seems off here. MOO
I'm with ya afitzy!

I don’t know...I think FD is going to get away with stuff like this a little longer. Each of these judges seem to need to come to their own separate conclusion about FD, and it seems to take a while for them to do so. It took Judge Heller longer than it should have to understand that he was completely and utterly non compliant, and Blawie is going to go through the same process, IMO. And, I think he (Blawie) doesn’t want to taint the jury pool by making an example of FD. He is going to warn him on Monday, and FD may or may not comply.

Easy solution.

LOCK HIM UP NOW!

Unbelievable that he is lucky to be 'out' and he cannot even follow simple rule to recharge his device?

I am beginning to think that the State of CT has a constitutional dislike of imposing consequences. We have seen this in Family Court and Civil Court and I HOPE we aren't going to see it in Criminal Court too.

Come on Judge Blawie, please impose some consequences for defiance of CT Court orders for FD!

MOO
I'm starting to wonder what's going on with CT court system.
