I love reading your posts because you organize and validate with precise details and evidence the reasons I am upset and I am sure lots of other readers are upset about what is happening with this case. I so agree with all your posts from today and yesterday concerning MT. It’s sad that
MT’s family must be paying her atty a lot of money for him to continue to represent and protect her and advise them. Or maybe to do as mama A directs. I think everyone has felt something was really wrong when no useful information that we know of was obtained after MT’s first big meeting with LE and the state atty and you have described so well all that has followed. It worries me about what kind of dangerous connections these people might have. I think Jennifer became aware of the increased danger MT brought into their lives and was determined to not let the fd/mt team influence or harm her children. To me MT seems cold and manipulative and used to having her way no matter what she has to do to get it. Thank you again for keeping us so well informed and on the right path for justice for Jennifer, GF and the children. MOO

NP has egregiously violated 3.6...Am sure you, as I and others, are shocked at some of the wild stories NP has invented about JFD that have no basis in fact that he has presented. The list is long, including the Gone Girl scenario, framing one's husband with suicide for revenge, stealing money from her spouse, that she has received medical treatment after her disappearance, that she was a drug addict, that she was mentally ill....the list goes on. NP has offered no explanation for the Albany Avenue trip, saying "he wants to save it for the jury." That goes along with his early comments that FD had an alibi for the entire morning the 24th of May. Then it changed to there is no evidence of FD leaving 4 JX or entering Welles. Blah, blah, blah....

And, all of these comments about JFD and his client refuses to talk with police?! FD never has and probably never will. If he had an explanation or an alibi, FD could "clear things up." (Despite his lament on television that "Jennifer needs to clear up this mess.") The continued victim blaming and shaming is abusive to his children and the rest of JFD's family.

NP supports and knew that FD was going to wish Jennifer a Merry Christmas. NP felt that that comment did not violate the gag order. And, the state of CT calls this good legal counsel within the state constitution. Heaven help us all!

And judges themselves have to comply with the Code of Judicial Conduct. See Canon 2, Rule 2.15 – “Responding to Judicial and Lawyer Misconduct”, and 2.16, “Cooperation with Disciplinary Authorities.” Did Blawie’s gag order skirt around his responsibility to refer Pattis to the CDC? Awaiting the SC’s opinion.

I'm far away, too. I read some of the records that were public on line before they were sealed, but certainly didn't think to copy any or read them all.

If the records are sealed, I don't know if a person without permission not part of a legal team related to the divorce could see them. IDK...I think for the children's sake they were sealed to prevent the press from publishing parts of them. I found an article recently that makes reference to some of the documents...but it was before the seal.

From my close experience, no. Once an accused person is 18 yrs old, parents are not responsible for paying for their defense costs.

Wondering if it works in CT like it works in FL? Here in FL, many parts of Divorce Cases are sealed from being viewed online, but if someone goes in person to the Clerk's office, most records are able to be viewed.

It’s part of CT Judicial Branch’s notoriety that certain folk with influence or affluence—like judges, for instance, get the privilege of having their divorce cases sealed. Or other civil cases, where they don’t want the details to get out. Back in about 2005 an article in the HC said CT was the only state that had this secretive practice.

I suppose she could, but the way it's said that MT and Fd sought out Atty B before the state even brought charges against her, it seems unlikely to me. That's just my intuition, though. The idea that Fd went with her--one would have to assume that he didn't sit in on the consultation--to preserve the attorney-client privilege.

In re-reading the Daily Mail article I thought to google for Gaston Begue again and was surprised to find so little history for him even despite all the publicity around this case. Wikipedia hasn't caught up in the least but maybe that's for the best - from all we've read he seems IMO to be for the most part an innocent bystander just trying to do the right thing for his daughter.

I've always wondered why GB allowed his pre-teen daughter to live in a house
with her mom's married lover (not to mention someone who was also involved in a very messy divorce). It was so wrong on a lot of levels yet this father apparently went along with it without a fuss. I don't call this trying to do the right thing for his child at all. He should have protected her but instead, chose to look the other way at her expense

I keep wondering if MT’s family secretly hired NP to make a big mess and show how horrible and guilty FD is and take the attention away from MT. NP would have to be getting paid a lot to sacrifice his dignity and tell those ridiculous stories and act like he believes them and risk losing his license. He really had to pull out all his acting skills when He had to “comfort” FD during the fake tears scene. Is NP a retired soap opera actor or a professional attorney? I don’t think I have ever seen an attorney stoop so low, purposely be unethical and try to twist laws to make what he is doing ok in my lifetime. If NP’s purpose is to make us never want to see him or hear his speeches and make the public be firmly convinced of the guilt of his client he gets an A plus from me.

Good theories! Though NP likes attention, whether good or bad.

Even more puzzling....was it in the Nov or OCT pre-trial hearing that AB announced MT would like a jury trial. That was declared until after AW2.

Hopefully she was have an awakening soon.

Call me crazy, but we have no known timeline of MT. That week. That morning. There was no group shower. She didn’t see him in the AM. Why? Maybe cuz She wasn’t there? Maybe it’s not FD in the garage with the dumpster divers knife. Maybe it’s MT.

Mr. “I know what I did and I know what I didn’t do”, may be referring to that morning, the cleanup, the coverup and ALL his financial shenanigans.
Maybe MT hasn’t made a plea becuz these two have each other by the throat. What if MT is actually driving this bus and FD is playing second fiddle? Maybe He cleaned up and helped her cover, so she would not spill all the financial info that would implode his civil case. She knows everything. Possible years of Tax fraud? Vacay/“business” trips, money in foreign banks, questionable loans, moo moo moo. She literally has him by the acorns. He tells on her, she tells on him.

I think we’ve been watching a big game of Chicken. Someone brought up her initial appearance after the first arrest, vs her swagger now. She was petrified at that first court appearance. As months have passed and she has watched FD play his hand, she has literally unfolded from having her head against a police station parking lot wall and a sweater over her face, to a highly held botoxed head, on a straightened back, striding into court flanked by her entourage.

IMO we may be looking at it wrong ,the answer to why she did not flee JXing with her daughter, after realizing JD was missing and she might have just helped her killer dump JDs remains in trash cans, may not be because she’s a self absorbed poorly skilled mother, but because he is not the killer.

I’ve always thought it was odd that MT hired a lawyer first- with FD by her side.

Just throwing something out there to mull over. Trying to make the puzzle pieces fit- or I need some sleep. Sure would be nice to see AW3 show photos of other cars coming and going from JXing.

Yes- you have made the puzzle pieces fit-( MOO).I keep seeing MT as a snake curled up in Jennifer’s garage , quiet and waiting to strike. And her cold eyes with no pity or emotion except for anger and determination. How horribly terrifying for the innocent victim-MOO.

IMO, they are waiting to straighten out some of the financial mess. It’s complicated and they don’t want to miss anything...really, it seems as if they could make the arrest(s) right now, but I think they want to make sure they get all of the charges that these two mutts have coming to them.

I had thoughts of that --that MT was the actual killer. I keep thinking of her comment to LE--that it "didn't smell like coffee." She appeared to volunteer that comment--as if to undermine Fd's credibility. I guess we'll know who was at Welles that morning when LE reveals the videos. A few weeks ago someone posted here that they heard from someone in NC that they had given a video to LE that would definitely incriminate Fd.
