A thought about the ring full of keys:
Remember the vehicle musical chairs that took place after PG showed up at 80 MS Rd at the end of the workday, looking for FD and for his Toyota keys (which were not left at 4JC where he left them)? Instead of just allowing PG to take off with his Toyota from where they all were at 80 MS Rd, FD insisted that PG drive the Raptor back to 4JC (which PG did after first driving back to 585 Deercliff to return the ramp he had stopped to get from there before driving to 80 MS Rd in prep for dirt bike riding that Memorial Day weekend). Then, FD would drive PG back to 80 MS Rd to deliver him to his Toyota.
PG told LE he saw his keys sticking out of the Toyota‘s passenger door when he was initially at 80 MS Rd, but when he and FD returned, those keys were gone. FD tried to talk PG into just taking the Raptor home for the weekend, but PG insisted he wanted his Toyota, so FD called MT to bring the Toyota‘s keys, which she then did.
Maybe FD/MT had his own key made for the Toyota and it was THAT key that PG had seen sticking out of the passenger door and since it was on a ring with FD’s other keys (say, to project houses) rather than with PG’s own other keys, that was why FD insisted on getting PG away from 80 MS Rd (so MT could collect that duplicated key before PG became aware of it).
Maybe the keys found in the garbage bin on Albany Ave included a duplicate Toyota Tacoma key (a duplicate that FD or MT had made without PG’s permission).
