I totally agree, and we posted many of the same thoughts, Bravo :hug:

The children are no longer in SY's custody. DCFS petitioned for, and was granted custody, of all the children, when SY balked at the Amber Alert. It was granted for Relisha. I'm not sure if she lost custody of the boys at exactly the same time, or shortly thereafter. However, she no longer has any of her children with her.

Based on everything that has been revealed (and I believe it's just the tip of the iceberg), that is the silver lining of this story so far.

My only comments are:
Tatum was more than likely given the heads up by Shamika on that specific day, they were working in unison after all.

There's a reason that Shamika stopped posting on facebook on March 5th and only began posting a few days ago.

I don't like the feeling of today, if they had nothing - then they would do the presser at the 1st start time (1pm). Makes me feel they have some information suddenly and needed to push the presser back.

Officials familiar with the investigation say Rudd's mother, grandmother and Tatum were all working together in an effort to fool teachers and administrators at Payne Elementary School into believing the 8-year-old was not coming to school because she was sick.

“He basically assured the school the child had been ill and gave some detailed information around that,” said Bebe Otero, the Deputy Mayor for Health and Human Services.

Administration officials not authorized to speak on the record said Rudd’s grandmother and mother gave Tatum's phone number to the school claiming he was the girl’s doctor.

The front hoe I saw was at the entrance just off 295. It may have been a lifter thing? Either front hoe or something on front to lift heavy object.

Looked it up on my computer: I was a forklift being pulled behind a DC police car, headed to the search area, as I was leaving. Sorry for the confusion - it was not a front hoe (although there was equipment like that back there), but why would they need a fork lift?

It's about 700 acres... It's not small by any means. And all entrances are roped off with crime scene tape.

guys.. do you remember that article in the last thread that quoted the woman right above the room that the body was found.. she said she had been there for five days or so and that they were there after she got there and she never saw Relisha? I will have to find it. If that is the case that means (20th she was found) that they got the last red roof inn room around the 14th or 15th which is after the cell phone pings in the park.

This totally stinks truly. I will see if I can find it again.

Relisha Tenau Rudd missing in Southeast D.C.Metropolitan Police put out an alert on Wednesday night for 8-year-old Relisha Tenau Rudd, who is missing and may be traveling in either a red SUV or black Honda. It did not take long for somebody to spot the cars in the parking lot of the Oxon Hill Red Roof Inn

DC Amber Alert: Relisha Renau Rudd Missing, May be With Rickie Lyles, Kahliil Tatum
Eight-year-old Relisha Tenau Rudd has gone missing in southeast Washington, D.C. on Thursday, prompting police to issue an Amber Alert.
Two vehicles that police were looking for in connection to a homicide in Oxon Hill, Maryland were found at the scene of the crime. Rudd is connected to the homicide but is not the victim.

OXON HILL, Md. (WRIC)—The District of Columbia Metropolitan Police Department has issued an AMBER Alert for an 8-year-old black girl who has been missing since last month. A woman’s body was discovered in a Maryland hotel Thursday morning during the search for the child.

Wife of man wanted for missing Maryland girl, 8, found dead in hotel: report
Police found a white 1976 GMC truck they say was being used by Kahlil Malik Tatum, who is suspected of possibly abducting little girl Relisha Tenau Rudd. An Amber Alert was issued for the child, who hasn't been seen since Feb. 26., after police found the body of Tatum's wife at a Prince George County hotel.

The Prince George's County Police Department has obtained an arrest warrant for 51-year-old Kahlil Malik Tatum, of the 2500 block of N Street in Southeast Washington. Tatum is wanted for the murder of his wife, 51-year-old Andrea Denise Tatum also of N Street, Southeast Washington. The victim was discovered in a motel room in the 6100 block of Oxon Hill Road on Thursday, March 20, 2014.
