It also makes it clear that Jordan refused to turn over his mobile device to police and authorize them to access his records from his provider. Translate: Jordan's not cooperating with law enforcement in this investigation.

How does that prove that? Don't they get SW's before asking for someone's phone? Otherwise, it could be thrown out, right???

This SW was from the day or day after the murders.

I feel sick.
DW and whoever was with him are vile excuses for human beings. JMO

bbm in the quote.

I would consider anyone with "average intelligence" to be rational, thinking human beings who are able to consider many angles, options and reasons in the absence of hard facts.

I'm not the brightest bulb, I am average. I am bright enough to know that people lie for many reasons. We don't have access to all the information needed to determine JW's involvement, guilt or innocence.

You are right. In our/my defense, this crime is horrific enough that in the info. void, we are trying to make sense of it--how could this happen!? So we look for a link. JW makes a good target for our disbelief and fear. I keep thinking this does not happen, a dumb and raging dregs-of -society like DW getting access to a smart, security-minded CEO, his company, his family, his hard-working house help. How? I come up with JW as a link in order to deal with the probable fact that a stupid monster did rain ruin on two families. In doing so, he (and some motley crew perhaps)broke through the illusion of safety that money, vigilance, care, an enclave occupied by the Navy and the Vice-President-- for heavens sake-- would seem to afford people. One thinks NO ONE is safe ANYWHERE. And yes, we want justice. But really it's REASON we seek. Maybe there is none. Finally, I acknowledge JW is entirely innocent at this point. I only speculate he lied to police to cover some guilt on his part. I see very reasonable explanations on this board as to why he might have lied about the car being locked, when it wasn't. Why lie, though, about receiving a call from SS's cellphone on Wednesday, saying he first got instructions on Th.? OOPS. Here I go again.

Here is what I don't get. They say that DW had no car and took public transport, and walked the rest of the way to the home, possibly wearing a green vest. If he had help in the home, then 2 or 3 people would have walked up the street. Isn't there surveillance fooage available in the neighborhood that might show him/them walking to the house?

Exactly.

As for text messages...imessages are not stored anywhere and once deleted cannot be retrieved. Believe me...I've tried.

Not necessarily. Even if JW handed them his cell and said 'go for it' ---they would still obtain a warrant for legal purposes. Getting a warrant does not automatically mean that he is not cooperating. He might not be, I don't know. But LE obtaining a warrant is not indicative either way, imo.

At the time of this SW, they wouldn't know. But I bet they do now!!!!

So may be releasing to show they have thoroughly investigated and there are no other suspects that they have found any evidence against to charge to date, or we should be hearing of another arrest by end of day or any day now.

Okay, so what did I miss? They say? Who says? Where was this? Seriously, was this printed somewhere?

I have a friend who is going through a custody battle...and she has tried too. Now she has to download them all manually, by taking screen shots and sending an email to herself, then downloading to a thumb drive.

But I wasn't sure if with a SW they might be able to perform some magic they won't do for the common citizen.

This SW was from the day or day after the murders.

LE needed the SW to determine the locations of where the phone was when used for making calls. The cell phone provider will give detailed information as to what tower was used when each call or text was made or received. This will then be used to corroborate JW story as to where he was when he said he made those calls, sent those texts or received the same.

If he wasn't were he said he was or was somewhere he shouldn't have been, bad news for JW.

Unless the iphone is clouded with another Apple device...once an imessage is deleted..it's gone.

Warrants also indicate possible forced entry into Savopoulos home. Police looking for boot that matches tread found outside. Story shortly

Ahh! Bumping up

Appears may not be DW's footprint. Even if had another pair of footwear with him, perhaps not same size.

Someone else inside of home

If law enforcement asks you to provide your mobile device to them for examination and sign an authorization to your provider (which every urban law enforcement agency has on hand) allowing law enforcement to access your records, no warrant is needed.

Not with the customer's consent.
Your comment is disinformation

Even with customers consent, LE will still get a SW. With consent they are able to begin looking at the phone immediately, but if they want to use any info in a trial , for example, they need a legal warrant, not just consent. JMO
