That may be all that you think is there, but my opinion differs from yours. As does my assessment of the body of information that the public have access to. I've said before, it's the accumulation of information that has led me to my opinion.

And nothing in that accumulation of info has even the vaguest hint of a sexist tinge to it.

And as I said before, that accumulation of information is different for each one of us - there are many who determined that Terri was guilty in the very beginning, and some like myself, find the absence of facts disturbing.

I admit, there have been cases where I determined guilt in the very beginning ...I find that this case is very different, at least for me~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! moo mho

She hasn't been granted immunity that we have heard. That was why I phrased it the way I did. :) That has been a subject of debate by many a talking head and in the papers. That she may be seeking immunity.

snip

I just have to say this, and if it has already been said by others, my apologies for re-iterrating and just know that all I can say is "great minds think alike!" :innocent: IMOVHO (in my own very humble opinion), this is DDS's way of thumbing her nose at LE for not granting immunity.

I would also love to know if, during those, per Terri, many repeat interrogations of her by LE on 6/4 and/or 6/5, she even once lost it? All I can say is, that if it had been me, at some point I would have exploded and possibly even used a few expletives and demanded that LE go look for mystepson! I just wonder if that happened....

Advance apologies if this has already been discussed.

Dede Spicher: "I just really don't. In my heart, I really don't. In all of these years [as her friend], I have not seen anything that would lead me to believe that she is capable or motivated in any way to do something like this."

Casey Anthony: "I know in my heart, I know in my gut, I know with every ounce of my being that we will be with her again."

Do we really want to cherry pick phrases and assign them nefarious meanings based upon how they were used by another? Really?

C'mon.

You give many good assumptions and knowing that information would tell us a lot.

If DeDe lied about the class to her friends, IMO, that's huge. If she did attend a 90min class at a local nursery, that would be very verifiable and make sense. Isn't her career working in nurseries/gardening? Why can't LE just check out a few facts and rule that info in/out so people can use it intelligently, or drop it?

According to links DeDe was searched for and not found, yet her car never left the property. Was the nursery close? Did she go to the class with someone? moo

IMO this is as easy to verify as FM being out of the medicine she went to get. Why can't LE verify or not verify so the investigation can move on to what's really important, and that's getting justice for Kyron. moo mho

Maybe they, LE, have verified all of this, that's why they don't believe what Terry and DeDe have said. LE sure as heck aren't going to tell the public what they have verified.

No, she told her friends she left her cell phone off during the class, not that she left her cell phone at home. "Friends of Spicher say she was attending a landscaping class at a local nursery when Kyron disappeared and she left her cell phone off. "
It's some other version where she says she left her cell phone at home and that she was working at the farm all day.

See? At least two different versions, not counting her attorney's version that she was home all day.

Yes, not to mention that she wasn't attending a class, she was WORKING (or volunteering). Details get very confused ... don't envy the investigators trying to sort all of this out.

We dissect people's statements all the time on WS. And compare. To me the statement is an indication that Dede knows much more than she's telling.

As I explained in the comment that followed the one you quoted.

Really? I haven't seen any support of Terri on here, let alone comfort lol. Maybe I'm missing posts and need to read more closely.

Well....agree to disagree...and, all of my posts are MOO.

Let's stop right now please. I'm seeing too many posts talking about fellow poster's feelings, thoughts, ideas and posting habits...... Everyone better hug and make up and start posting responsibly. Disagree but don't get personal.

I loves you grandmaj!!!

Dissecting one person's comments is one thing; taking a common phrase or cliche, finding a suspicious or shady character who's used same and then insinuating that the first person is somehow *guilty* because of this is both fallacious reasoning and irritating.

And if they were so afraid, why not go stay at DeDe's instead? As you said, nobody knew about DeDe yet. Her place would have been quite safe.

I think her home is/was for sale? Would probably have people in and out all the time, would not have stayed private for long.

So, DeDe professes, "in her heart" to know that Terri is not capable of this. Well, my heart is my heart, not my head, and rarely the twain do meet.

As far as Law Enforcement, and why she says she "didn't tell them what they wanted to hear".
I wonder what she really thinks they wanted to hear?

I thought she said in that same statement what they wanted to hear - that Terri did it, or that Terri knew something.

How many dozens of agencies, including the FBI are working this case since Day 1? I believe that they can and did determine the veracity of what DS told her friends, etc., and that is why the flier came out with DS all over it. :twocents: JMO

I have warned once....... Everyone take a walk away from your computer if your blood pressure is up....... I'm not going to say it again. If this pillow fighting continues there is going to be a war and casualties will be losing posting privileges.

Now Knock it off now! Put away the snark.

Regarding the need for a cell phone when working in a garden, somewhere on a 38 to 40 acre farm:

I did a quick search on poisonous snakes in the Portland area, since at least one person has suggested that one would need a cell phone if bitten by a snake.

Essentially what I found was, there are no poisonous snakes in the Portland area. This person summed it up nicely, I think: "One of my cats caught a garter snake when I lived in Tigard. So Tigard has snakes. I've never seen snakes in Porltand though, only slugs." — Minerva

So, I suppose one could argue that a cell phone might be necessary in case one encounters a slug?

I have no problem with DeDe and I think she is telling the truth.

There are snakes there.

I'm confused.

Was Dede at the farm all day or was she at a landscaping class for 90 minutes? Or was the class held at the farm and considered part of the job? Or were her friends who reported she was at a class confused? Or were they told a lie? Arghhh.

And 38 acres isn't that large of an area that someone wouldn't be able to find her if she were there. Depending on the property, if it's flat farmfields, you could actually see someone at the far edges without even having to travel over to where they're working (if unobstructed by trees or buildings). I used to live on 33 acres & we used to watch deer at the back edge of the property from our deck.
