If the shooter went thru the trouble to do all the booby traps, why do you suppose he notified the police that he had bombs in his apartment? Why not just let them go there and find it themselves and get blown up?

Presumably he set this up to allow him more time to allegedly kill people in the movie theater, but that didn't work. Since it didn't work for what he allegedly planned it for, perhaps he didn't care for it anymore.

The ruse theoretically would have drawn them into the apartment building, detonating a firebomb and then drawing all available police and rescue units to the other side of town before the shooting at the theater started. It doesn't make sense you me either. Although on Good Morning America this morning, I noticed that the reporting of this changed to the shooter suggesting to police that they check his apartment (without stating shooter tipped them off to booby traps). I hadn't heard it reported this way previously.

He posted over 700 times over a 5 year period on the review board you referenced (seems to be quite a lot of postings compared to other users). I've read through many of his posts and they tend to be confrontational towards others posts.

I noted that he consistently advocated unprotected felacio which I found odd. Additionally I haven't yet found a post from him that would indicate he'd used the services of an escort himself.

I realize it says Germany for the location, however, I found a few other places with ldmaster used with Germany as location, but same age as shooter.

If it is his account....interesting choice of cities in Germany! This city was significant in terms of Nazi activity, was the place where a scientist working with MERC invented ecstasy, and in the last decade has become known as a center of science and technology.

My husband has been suggesting LE take Holmes to the apartment and make him lead the way in. He set it up, he can undo his dirty work. I said he might just intentionally trip it to take out all the LE there, but he pointed out with all the gear he wore, no suicide, and his surrender, it seems he wants to live.

Yea, I wish they could make him go to his apartment. He certainly appears to have done everything to protect himself, so suicide was not in a plan.

New York City's police commissioner said he was told the gunman had painted his hair red and called himself the Joker – Batman's nemesis – but Aurora police would not confirm that.

interviewed (by phone) a relative of a deceased 24 year old female killed in the theatre rampage. The relative said her family had to wait over 10 hours to learn the fate of their loved one. She said waiting 10 hours was torturous and inhumane.

I imagine they were the ones they could not remove from inside for hours. Has there been any explanation why it took so Lomg to remove the victims ?

I understand what the intent was, but if killing as many people as possible is what he wanted, why not just sit back and let it happen? Instead he told them.

They generally do, every state has different laws but in my state if you buy more than 6 guns in a 6 months period FROM THE SAME GUN SHOP they are supposed to report the purchases to the ATF. But if you go to 5 different gun shops and buy them there isnt much they can do.

We have a 3 minute background check, thats all it takes to get a gun here, you say you want the gun they call a number and do a quick background check if nothing comes up you have the gun and out the door in about 3 minutes.

We have NO license no permits no nothing, ANYONE over 18 who is not a convicted criminal or being treated for mental illness can own and carry a gun CONCEALED. No paperwork no nothing. I am not complaining, I like that of course but sometimes the guns do fall in to the wrong hands, se FAST AND FURIOUS (not the film, a legal case nicknamed such) for one case here in Arizona where such things happened.

Good Lord. It's harder to buy a box of Sudafed.

I do not know if that account was his. I was suggesting he could have put a fake location. Or it could be someone in Germany, who knows?

I also think that to someone who is not familiar with techno music/mix music, it may sound like a loop.
