Do you think it could be that Baez & Casey were trying to make a plea deal for the location of Caylee's body, and LE said they had one and only one chance to tell the truth of Caylee's location, and Baez, knowing what a liar Casey is, sent Dominic to verify the location?

Maybe they were still going to try to verify the location to proceed with a plea deal, when unexpectedly, along comes the MR and finds Caylee's body. This would make Casey's reaction of "I can't believe this is happening" make perfect sense - there went her plea deal, and would be something I can believe would make her have an anxiety attack and need a sedative.
Just some thoughts. What do you all think?

Too bad HER MISSING DAUGHTER wasn't enough to make her have an anxiety attack and need a sedative!!!:mad:

For me the most telling part is; WHO was guiding him on the phone will he was digging?

I think Dominic Casey wanted to be the hero who did what no one else had been able to do - find Caylee. Had he found her, he would have called LE immediately to start the ball rolling on his instant fame and soon-to-be fortune. Let's face it, this guy is no spring chicken - this may have been his one shot to create a big ol' retirement fund.

The video of his discovery would have been hugely valuable, both as evidence and as the clip that would eventually be shown on every talking-head show to accompany his appearances. He could have used stills in his inevitable book about his feat.

I think he was thwarted by the fact that the exact location was still under what by then must have been huge puddles in the low-lying areas of the woods. Had that water not been there, we might be watching PI Dom on Nancy Grace every night along with her usual crew.

If hurricanes are 'acts of God', then God saw to it that his scheme was unsuccessful.

Well, God and a two-timing sidekick with a penchant to carry around multiple gadgets.

It's funny, but given how noisy it was in the courtroom during the break, I doubt they could have heard each other whispering at their respective counsel tables at all. I heard none of that while watching live, only later, when directed to use earphones. It was the microphones picking it up and recording it that did it.

Whoever was doing the talking probably feels like being swallowed up by the earth right now... if he's become aware the world can now hear his private conversation...

Maybe that is WHY it is being discussed there, he made them think of how it came down. I believe the cell phone calls will be the kicker in this one. They will prove who DC was talking to getting tips.

If they get all his phone numbers. Hoover's attorney said he had multiple cell phones he was using, and I heard 3 was the number.

Here is the post regarding the second camera:

So here is what I transcribed starting at 18:26
http://www.wftv.com/video/18440731/index.html

"Casey was saying, … Casey said that everything Hoover said was a lie because he thought that the tapes had all been erased and he didn’t know that he had a second camera and didn’t realize that something happened (too garbled to make out), and he recorded on the second camera and Hoover didn’t realize until December that he’s got this whole (pause) Casey’s already called him a liar and said this never happened that this whole thing is ….. "

Then the judge walks in….
Wow!! Was the person talking or whispering to JB the legal analyst Sheaffer?

:blowkiss::blowkiss: Wow.. you directed me to the exact spot! Thank you!

I listened very closely... had the speaker to my ear.. and I also hear... at 17:44.. "somebody was told to look for landmarks".
There's a lot hear to decipher.. don't know how much is fact, but it sure is juicy!

I heard this just now myself. It seems as if they are whispering something in regards to Hoover and DC, but haven't listened closely enough to figure out the rest.
My question would be, Is there any way to distinguish who this was talking?
Landmarks? Casey has told something to someone...

I think it all makes perfect sense! I didn't buy one word of JB's "Mr. Casey, after Oct, had little if no contact with us" even before I read your post.

Btw!..Which is it JB?..Little OR no contact?..Ya can't have it both ways

They wouldn't be a Nokia and a Blackjack, would they? With a tradeable sim card?

That was always funny to me about him feeling like he had to keep saying "no contact." Maybe now we know why.

I wish there was some kind of program where I could only hear background noises!

He better come up with 3 real phone numbers for the FBI to verify those. If they catch him in more lies or covering up...he is in even deeper trouble.

Why does one person need 3 cell phones anyway?

lol. Doubtful. A smart private detective would use tracphones or some other pre-paid phone that was not traceable. If he used one or all to communicate to Hoover, well they would have the numbers to track. D. Casey should have sat back instead of making a threat to Hoover. I think that was a really dumb move on his part.

I strained to hear but that's all I could pick up. I guess the "someone was told to look for landmarks" could just be speculation on his part.. maybe, maybe not.

in video reports right after the remains discovery (I will have to go back and dig thru to find it for you but I will later today when I get back home :-) local residents had said that ten days ago (ten days before discovery) that area had still been covered with water. That would be local residents of the area who live near the area. As for if it is a fact.. no. But what is in it for them to lie about it?

Water goes down and body is found (omg I sounded like Susan Moss LOL). It makes physics sense anyhoo (as my hubby says).
I'll second that. The area was reported to be underwater by locals. (and I'm stickin to it!)

Don't know if it is still possible but I had a personal experience with ex hubby, while in jail from an assault upon myself. While in jail he would call a "friend" from jail and that person then call forwarded the call to myself in order to threaten me. When I informed LE they said they didn't have the technology at that time to prove this took place. However they did confirm that this took place all the time, this call forwarding trick, from jail.

I am just livid at the thought that anyone other than Casey knew where she was and never said anything until after she was found. I truly don't care if they came forward later or not..Morally, what they did was wrong. If any of the PI's knew where she was, or had any kind of tip as to where she could be, and did not share that with LE, they are pure scum of the earth to me.
I could not imagine poor Caylee lying in those woods and any adult with a heart knowing it and not telling someone who could go and find her. I am sickened at all of this, and there is no room for sympathy or appreciation coming from me if in fact either of these men knew where she was.
They had to have known something, they can spew the whole "we didn't find her" crap all they want. They were there for a reason!!

I was shocked to hear NG say there's no obligation to come forward with the location of a missing dead body..I can't imagine anyone, for whatever reason, doing something this obviously WRONG!

Very interesting, Bailee! However, all phone conversations are recorded from the jail and it wouldn't matter who received it as to what the person sitting in jail was saying tho.

I'm picking up things like
"He comes back...Casey...game over
The second day when he comes...dressed like you would if you were going into the woods...3 foot long metal..."

SS do you know if A/C calls are recorded also? I guess my point was this call forwarding could be used in many different configuations.
