I don't believe she was abused by either her dad or her brother.

Does anyone else think that JB actually DOES believe it?

I think we should also ask ourselves, who has Casey tried to feed this garbage to? What is their usual reaction? What is her motive behind it?

Guys she is trying to get into her bed... er web.
The guys she has tried this story out on change the subject. Jose is trying to protect her, she is loving this. I believe Casey loves to manipulate people and get people to do things for her- Mason style. ie. when she got Tony jealous or had him break the shed lock. :twocents:

:twocents:No Way, Jose!!!..... hee hee (pun intended)

My opinions only, as always.

Sure, I think it is possible. 1 in 3 girls are sexually molested before age 18, so I guess there is a 33.3333 % chance she is telling the truth.

I am no shrink, but its possible that part of the reason that Casey was such a crappy mother is because she was sexually abused and her own mother didn't protect her.

Does that excuse any of the criminal charges against her? Of course not. But just because she may be a pathological liar doesn't mean she has lied about everything. I am sure that they tell the truth sometimes.

Futhermore, if George is as weak as he appears, it wouldn't shock me to learn he abused Casey (once, repeated, who knows) as a way of inflicting power and control over her, because he felt so powerless with his wife/marriage/life. I can also imagine an older Casey holding threats to tell Cindy or the authorities over George to keep him in line and to manipulate him.

Hi, MrsJonNob. But only a tiny fraction of that third of molested women are molested by their fathers. In this case, the indications are multiple that there was no such attack:

1. Casey didn't remember it until she was facing a capital murder charge. "Recovered" memories are very frequently inaccurate and Casey has a very clear motivation to "remember" things that would save her life.
2. Mr. Anthony made no mention of it in his suicide note.
3. Casey's lies are so numerous and various that they form a central part of both the prosecution and the defense.

Right, she really thought she could get away with it by blaming it on the nanny.

George taking such a stance against his daughter now would suggest he is either really angry with her for accusing him unjustly and can now believe she is capable of anything or he is a sexual abuser and is now fronting to deflect attention from his own behaviors.

After his performance in regards to Crystal River Cruz Holloway This Space Available For Name Rental, his credibility is exposed. Although extra-marital affairs are not indicative of being a sexual abuser, it doesn't exactly translate well subconsciously for many and could make a juror suspicious of him.

I think that if he did believe it that he would be hammering the point home. He has had George and Lee on the stand how many times? My own opinion is that he asks, and then backs away....... Unless of course, I am missing something which is totally possible.

The 2 people, that got their names dragged through the mud by the DT, are the same 2 people that pi$$ed off KC. RK for finding Caylee's remains (otherwise, in KC's mind, there would've been no trial) and George for not believing her crap and not willing to back up her lies.

If ICA was molested why would she wait until she's up on a murder rap to claim it? Just sounds like a sympathy card to me.

I had a relative who I see at times reflected in Casey. My relative was (sexually) abused from the age of 5 up until the age of 16 (when the man abusing her was arrested). After the arrest of this man, my relative went absolutely wild: drinking, drugs, orgies, stealing, lying, rage/anger issues, etc. Was Casey herself abused? I don't know. If so, was it her dad and/or her brother? Again, I have no idea. But I do see patterns of abuse exhibited by Casey similar to those I observed from my relative.

I think Casey behaves badly because she's a really bad person. End of story. No abuse or grief but a horrible, horrible person. Unfortunately there are plenty out there like that.

I'd be willing to be a good psychiatrist or two would label her as a sociopath after a thorough evaluation.

How can I believe it?
Look at the light in which it's been presented, she's a known pathological liar that has alienated anyone and everyone around her, and most vehemently, the ones who love and cared about her most, AND her daughter. To what end: as an excuse to murder her child, as an excuse as to why she chose to cover up an alleged accident, to elicit some kind of sympathy from the jury. I just don't get it. It's too bad if it's true because who could possibly believe anything out of her mouth. Motive is a huge thing. Motive for a lie and motive for the truth. Well that's something to think about. What are the motives for all of her lies? and What are the motives for her imaginary truth? All roads seem to lead to the same path - self-serving, self gratifying, self promoting, self-preservation without thought or consideration for another living soul.

You know ... take away the death of Caylee & the 31 days, KC is not unlike any of today's youth. Kids party, try a little bit of that/this, take what they could cause everybody else is doing it, but eventually we do grow up.

KC lies cause she's good at it. Lying gets her want she wants when she wants it. Her behavior could have gone on for years until she's old & gray. With men it's a double standard & excused as 'boys never grow up'.

Then along came Caylee [baggage]. Somewhere in the docs, she had written ... met a wonderful new group of friend. That would probably be Tony L & his entourage. A whole new world & a beautiful life. Caylee is becoming a hardship. No room in her life for Caylee.

Her parents are obstacles. Exerting too much control. No, they can't do that. She has been beating them all along - one up. As she got older, they got smarter. Before she could manipulate & sidestep. Now she lets her rage take over. Out of control.

However it happened, she let that child die. Nobody made her do it. If any patterns of abuse actually happened to KC, it came from years & years of loving parental care. Too much of everything without the limit setting.

Respectfully snipped by me

A couple of things, 1/3 girls are NOT molested by their own fathers. I would suggest that we could find a lot of statistics, but this one shows that out of all molestations, 30% are from a family member, 60% are from an acquaintance. So maybe more like a 10 % chance- except that it is coming from iCA's mouth.

I don't think that a young adult daughter would be eager beaver to sleep in her offender father's bedroom at night either, because she was too upset to sleep in her own room. Seeking comfort and sleep near your offender? The accusations are harsh- I find it unlikely.

Additionally, I don't think that GA appears to be weak.

Finally, with all that shaking her head no when GA testifies, that is just the icing on the cake that iCA's story is a complete fabrication. Like Judge Strickland said, the truth and iCA are strangers. And he was right.
