Misty calls her Nanny and aunt BB. Sounds like her grandmother is coming to visit her.
GM ask her about what is in the news paper and what Lisa C. told her that Misty said Tommy and Joe were the ones that went off with Haleigh. Misty tells her that is not true and that it was not in the newspaper. Misty tells her that she keeps all the news papers articles and thats not in the paper. (I thought I heard in the In the back ground you hear her aunt saying her daddy was the one that said it?)

Misty wants her grandmother to call an inmates father. She also wants the house number for him so the other girl can call him to see what is going on. She claims she needs him to put money on her pay-tell account.
Maybe this is someone that Misty is trying to get a hold of? Why would the other inmate need to call her father to see what is going on? Why would she not know her own father's home phone number?

Misty's grandmother mentions that she is coming to visit? She said Lindsey told her they could not stay with her.

I wonder who the grandmother is coming down with?
I wonder why the GM is planning on coming down?
She said she would sleep in her car if she had to. She also said that they have their own PI up there in TN. Misty said she is trying to teach herself to read.
I feel so sad for this grandmother, it's sad that Misty is putting so many people through so much H*LL. She tells her GM that she calls her after she has used all her time with her calls to Timmy and her mother. In other words, she calls her GM when she has nobody to talk to or when she uses up her pay-tell money from others.

GM tells Misty she has to go to psychiatry and also put something in her throat. I thought she said a lock?

I've listened to the audio tape between Misty and her Grandmother. I noticed that Misty never denies that she told her mother that Joe and Tommy did away with Misty; she only denies that the information was in the newspaper.

Please note.. All Tennessians do not talk like that..

Misty's GM said that when Misty's "real" trial begins, she and Aunt BB will come down and be there every day. Sleep in her car if she has too.

LOL, the Grandmother is going to have a two hour procedure done by a physician. The physician is going to put a "light" down her throat. I think she is going to have an endoscope procedure...............

Thanks for linking this video, Papa!

I noticed something that seems strange to me. Right around 3:00-3:05, Misty says she washes blankets - "Haleigh's blanket and my blanket."

Didn't we hear at some point that MC's blanket was "in the van they took"? Okay, we heard that Haleigh's blanket wasn't yet dry before she was allegedly put to bed; MC put a sheet over her, brought the blanket in when it was dry. I'm going to assume that MC washed her own blanket and Haleigh's together - and likely dried them together as well. So how did MC's blanket get in the van? What time did ToC and his children leave? GMS didn't mention seeing ToC or his children around when she came to check on the kids around 7 - so how did MC's blanket get in the van?

Just thinking...:waitasec:

I remember her saying stuff about taking the blanket down from the window because her blanket was in the van, and saying that she washed the window blanket...but I don't know why she'd have left this part of the story out during the LVA...

Does anyone know more about the sheet Misty covered HaLeigh with while the blankets were drying? The reason I ask is because a psychic stated she recently saw HaLeigh’s face in a dream and her head was covered with a white cloth. She said HaLeigh was throwing a yellow tablet in the air and she asked if Oxycontin tablets are yellow. I suspect if HaLeigh died in the home, her body would have been wrapped in the sheet to conceal her identity before it was carried outside. Apparently LE threw HaLeigh's bed blankets onto the ramp so the dogs could pick up and follow her scent, so I wonder where her bed sheet is. TIA.

I think the 2 people she is talking about is Timmy and Tommy....Chelsea would care for her husband....But I don't know how much she may care about Tommy....I don't think the brothers had anything to do with the death, but I think they both had alot to do with the cover-up afterwords.

But, since Cousin Joe was staying with Timmy wouldn't he at the very least tag along with the two brothers?

;) Thanks for clearing that up Emeralgem. Brought back memories of the Clampetts.
ETA: It bothers the heck out of me that her aunt and grandmother are still putting her on a pedestal and supporting her no matter what she has done. Enabling her all the way.:banghead: She should have been encouraged to tell the truth don't you think?

You mean Haleigh?

I bet Misty won't be calling Granny anymore after that slip!

Absolutely Lone. You can't tell me that Jo didn't tag along with Timmy and Tommy. Especially if there was drama going on, the more the better. That's why I believe there was an altercation the night Haleigh went missing. I believe that they were all there at that mh, particularly around 2a. I don't know if maybe they (Timmy, Tommy, Jo) came to Misty's rescue that night or maybe there to help get rid of evidence but in any case 2 is better than 1 and 3 is better than 2. KWIM?

I have to have endoscopies done every year... they do not take 2 hours. Two years ago I also had a colonoscopy done at the same time... either before or after the endoscopy, and both took a total of about 45 minutes. Just sayin'.

ETA: Maybe she is talking about the entire time she is in the outpatient clinic. They do put you to sleep during the endoscopy, and then you're in recovery for a few minutes before they wake you up. I was probably there about 2 hours total. Prep takes about 20-30 minutes.

During a telephone conversation with her mother, Misty says quite adamantly that her family doesn’t deserve all they have been put through and they deserve an apology. Can anyone make any sense out of this comment?

It's my first time listening to this call between MC, Aunt & Gma -- First, I gotta say wow! Is it painful on the ears to hear these voices! But, when Aunt says talking to Wendy (I think) was like talking to a telephone pole --

Ummmm . . . . Pot . . . . Kettle . . . .

:silenced:

Heartbreaking, absolutely heartbreaking. In this day and age that people live this way. Her granny cheering her on because she is so brave and strong. She was busted for drugs and is in the middle of HC's disappearance for God's sake. What is the answer (actually, I should say solution) for people like this? Seriously, do we have any Social Workers on here?

I know thats how it goes.....LOL
I was just thinking in terms of how birth order is often played out in the dynamics of the family unit..Tommy seems to have taken on the role of the second born rather than first born..
The first born is usually the one all the other siblings rely on to take care of things. Usually the responsible one... Seems these people all turn to Timmy to take care of things......
Middle child often takes on the role of being the scapegoat...Seems to me Tommy is playing that part...JMO
That wasn't meant to be a smarta$$ reply, Em. :blowkiss: I had to stop and think for a moment because I couldn't remember. So I was actually answering myself. I should know better than to post when I'm getting ready for work in the morning.:loser: I knew where you were going with the question and was going to post something about birth order but noticed the time and cut it short. Anyway, I agree. He seems to have assumed the middle child role. Probably because they're so close in age, and as littermates, Timmy was intellectually stronger and more self-reliant.

It is the family dynamics, generations on. Misty's mother is the same as her mother, who was no doubt raised by her own mother the same way. It is not about love for child, it is about making sure child loves adult, even if that means child does whatever the child does. It will always be met with support, affection, and absolute dedication to feeding whatever need the child has through whatever sh!tstorm the child might bring upon the family.
