Why is the FBI letting all this get out of hand?

Wondering if it's a smokescreen ... keep peeps off balance, get people moving, on the run. Why an arrest but no arrest? Bomb scares with no bombs. Scheduled pressers with no pressers? Public media shown pics but public not shown pics. Why show media a pic if not to get info out to the public? So what goes out to the public is no pic, but the insinuation ... we have you on camera, we know who you are, it's just a matter of time, your goose is cooked, etc.

I think it's a stir the pot and see what floats up.

Well one good thing to know... They seem to think they have a clear image of the suspect's face from that store's security camera.

Our government does have facial scanning software.

IMO that will help a lot.

The scanning may not help find him but it will help rule people out or convict them.

I'm telling you guys, the pic from the video.. The street level one is of different guys and it's a crazy coincidence that there was pictures all over reddit of two others wearing similar clothing. White hat guy on reddit has sunglasses while white hat guy in other pic doesn't. Then there's the lettering on his hoodie, the white on his neck (not sure what's up with that) the two different style blue jackets and duffel bags. And like I said before, in the video pic the pair are both wearing charcoal colored gloves while the reddit pair aren't wearing gloves at all. Didn't the video say it was a pic they'd received from LE or something? Am I remembering that right?

I too am still convinced that they showed other men in a different photo. Whether that ties in or not, only time will tell. It's a huge coincidence and a really unfortunate one for those two poor innocent men.

It has been removed, but yes. That clip on Youtube said the photos had been leaked from LE. Obviously a lie.

Because he and his friend have been described as being in FBI POI photos.

As far as I know though, described only by the media citing unidentified sources, that same media who of course never, ever, gets anything wrong--like today's announcement of an arrest, for example --but not by any official LE sources.

Just because you're* described as anything, by anyone, even the media, doesn't make it true or obligate you* to defend yourself from it until law enforcement is actually involved.

*Using "you" only in the hypothetical sense. Not personally.

From what I can tell, the still photos of the two guys that were highlighted and circled on 4chan are the same guys before and after the bombings in the same location (1st bombing site).

However, the video on local 2 news coverage seemed to show a guy with a different black sweatshirt talking to a blue jacket guy who might/might not have been the same guy in a different location. I'm not sure whether these two guys that were in the video are the same circled ones as those in the pics in 4chan. They might be because there are people who change clothes, and I would assume especially if they're trying to hide something that they'd purposefully try to deceive...

Ultimately I think it was the error of the tv newscast to have compared the stills from 4chan with the 2 guys talking in a whole different location.

Yeah, the only pic that has different guys is the one from the news clip IMO. You're right, I think they may have gotten that pic from a *source* but didn't look closely enough to realize it was different ppl from the ones online. Or not, what do I know . The only reason I'm focused so much on the video still(besides it supposedly being an LE pic) is because of that being the only place I've seen that pic, and it looking like different ppl from the others to me.

Sometime in the past couple days when one the links I followed was a news show talking about the white powder that was down the wall in front of one of the windows. The talk was something about it being some kind of explosive that didn't go off meaning the bombs were built to be a larger impact. Did anyone hear that interview or know anything about what they were talking about?

I was thinking the sam thing. Kimberly you have been posting a lot of statements about the FBI where are you getting information from the FBI?

Media has gotten many things wrong thus far. Person of interest could simply mean the FBI thinks they may have seen something.

This is what I think too. Perhaps a photo *was* leaked, and in their rush to be the first to break the news, the media incorrectly identified the two innocent men.

Media has gotten many things wrong thus far. Person of interest could simply mean the FBI thinks they may have seen something.

I've referred to them as POI every time.
I know what it means.

IMO the FBI had suspects. But they are calling them POIs so that's what I've referred to them as.

It just gets weirder.

One logo being discussed is this - see pic. Its a knockoff of some kind of a
seal team logo - which may have absolutely nothing to do with the bombing.
