Me too. I will be glad WHEN (I'm staying hopeful) they find her and the story of what happened will come out. Just imagine if someone would have just SHUT the backdoor - it's all very confusing. I'm trying to get the gf the benefit of the doubt though just BC I watch a lot of crime shows and one of my greatest fears is to be wrongly convicted of a crime (I know, I'm just weird) and so I want to just HOPE that the gf DID sleep though it. AND I was on her side (just bc my 19yo sister could sleep through someone coming in my house and taking my baby without even budging - I know bc I pretty much DID it) until she started changing small details in her story. I don't know if it's CHANGING or just adding smaller details that she hadn't added before. Like "I woke up and noticed the kitchen light was on" to "I woke up and walked in the living room and noticed the kitchen light was on". I just don't know. I hope we can find out about the evident soon. I hope they find her.

That's good common sense, especially the first clue being the dog going to the end of the dock. This type woman and other locals, hunters, trackers, would be good searchers even if they don't seem well educated. IMO

Yeah after hearing this on Nancy Grace about the mother I definelty do not think she had anything to do with it.

I totally agree. That's how you feel--how can I eat--how can I sleep.
I know she has to harbor deep resentment especially since she had fought for custody. She blames him for leaving her with a girl. Is thinking that if she had won custody, this wouldn't have happened.

Bless their hearts. She looks like such a sweet little thing.

Looks like he absconded 12/19/08

No! 2/1/09 is when he vanished from a Walmart 70 miles south of Satsuma. He left his auto there, so he is on foot. He is from putnam county though which is just east of the river near Haleigh's home. His myspace mood was adventurous on 2/1/09 before he absconded.

I finished reading the report with the dog tracking. Below is a Google Earth image of the route, as I read it. I had to switch between Google and the Putnam County property appraiser to locate the pond and outbuilding in question.

The red route is an alternative route from Monroe to Buffalo Bluff. The specific route, for some reason, was redacted in the report.

The pond is the left-most point on the route and the road crosses the tracks at the right-most point.

Marc Klaas is on the show now and giving another possibility that past tenants of the mobile home still had keys. But I'm still not getting past the two kids and the g/f supposedly in the same room and a "stranger" comes in, takes Haleigh, and nobody else notices? I don't sleep that soundly if I'm anticipating being awakened during the night, like when I was taking care of my mother and she'd need something during the middle of the night. The same would apply with two small children in the house, especially one who is a bedwetter, imo.

Thanks for looking that up. I had a student around 11 who had Turner's. She functioned at a much lower social/emotional maturity level and had learning problems. She had to be watched closely and was a lot to handle. She wore her garage door opener clipped to her pants one day and pretended that it was a pager. She got the biggest kick when I pressed the button and we supposedly opened the door...so we had to also press the button to close the door. I never let her go anywhere at school by herself. Then when she was about 17 she comes driving up to school in her car to visit. I have no clue how she got her license! I think Turner's affects all kids differently as I recall Haleigh has been referred to as being smart.

Walmart Chad last name R. is a child sexual predator.
He is 25 years old. same age as Haleigh's dad.

Crystal the mom, is engaged to a man whose name is Chad, don't know last name. He is 29 years old.

Two different Chads

There is another Crystal, who is the sister of Haleigh's dad. So she would be an aunt.
