I have a newborn... He's 8 weeks old. He's so sweet and so precious. I look at him and for the life of me can't imagine how anyone could harm something so innocent. My heart is broken for baby Chance.

For the latest pictures of KB, they are posted on Sarasota County Sheriff's FB page. This is one of them...

I honestly thought I was in wrong thread. I thought this was a man.

"A probable cause affidavit for Bury’s arrest, just released, reveals Bury and Walsh told detectives Chance died in the morning hours of September 16th, at their home on Orduna Drive."

So Chance was alive for a WEEK after the grandparents were concerned and went to the house several times on the 9th and Kristen wouldn't let them in. A WEEK. Oh, why, why, why didn't someone call for a welfare check during that week???? They waited a MONTH. And what kind of hell on earth did this poor infant endure during that week between the time they started hiding him and the time they finally killed him???

And it was the NEXT DAY, the 17th, the Kristen posted that gushing nonsense about JW surprising her with a family vacation and how excited she was to see what he had planned for their little family.

My God, how could they? This is what EVIL looks like.

Sarasota County Sheriff's Office confirmed that the body of an infant was found in a wooded area near English Circle and Elliot Court in North Port, 13 miles away from the family's home. Though detectives believe it is Chance's body, SCSO has not released a statement confirming it is his body pending forensic examination.

What on earth is the holdup? My brain is going to all kinds of dark places. :( Bury wouldn't let grandma see Chance on September 9 but she says he died on September 16. What happened during that week and why was LE searching in Port Charlotte, ten miles away from the burial place?

A probable cause affidavit released by the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office says Chance Walsh died Sept. 16. In the portion describing what weapons were used, the detective selected "hands/fist/feet."

The document says Bury directed detectives to Chance's grave sometime during interviews of Bury and Walsh that were held on Wednesday and Thursday. Chance's body, clad only in a diaper, was recovered Thursday.

I suspect we will find out shortly what happened in that week, and then we are going to wish we hadn't.

This article has a link to the Probable Cause doc but it's broken. It could just be my browser (Chrome) but I don't think so. I'll keep checking but if anyone can pull it up please alert. Thanks!

I think the server is down. I followed the same link with Firefox and IE with the same result. I also followed the link from NBC news, with the same result.

What was the certain felony offense she was engaged in at the time?

I will probably don't want to know, I know.

"SARASOTA, Fla — Kristen Bury, the mother of Chance Walsh, faced a Sarasota County judge this morning, now charged with first degree murder, in the death of her infant son. Detectives with the Sarasota County Sheriff Office say Bury led them to Chance’s body."

"At Elliot Court, detectives found a fragment of a blue surgical type glove, as well as the body of an infant covered only with a diaper."

No onesie, no sleeper or nightgown, no blankie. Just, covered in a diaper. Out there in the elements, all alone. :(

I wonder if they admitted to murder or just stated that Chance "died" on the 16th? Are they going to try to say he died of SIDS or something? Are they hoping the ME won't be able to establish cause of death after a month of decomposition and won't be able to prove homicide?

I swear if they get off with a simple child neglect, improper disposal of a body charge I will just become unhinged.

If blood was found on the walls, the ceiling etc., then there was probably blood on KB's and/or JW's clothing as well. Could be what they were diving for?

Since the weapons section lists hands/feet, I'm going to assume it was assault. UGH.

They've both lied about so much in this case, I honestly don't know if I believe he died on the 16th just because she said he did.

Car seat maybe? They had been using a neighbor's van which they returned when they showed up with the car that had no room for a car seat (the one they wrecked in SC). They couldn't leave the car seat in the house or the van; it wouldn't fit in the car; they couldn't leave it out in the open at the burial site and were certainly too lazy to bury it. Maybe that's what they threw in the river? Along with other items you would expect a couple with a young infant to take with them on vacation? They had to do something with the car seat and Chance's other belongings in order to make it look like they took him with them on vacation.

True. I'm leaning towards believing it actually is true. The POSs have been separated for two weeks in jail and out of contact with each other. But both of them eventually gave the same story - Chance died on the 16th and they both disclosed the location of the body. I think it's either true, or they had to have worked the story out before they were arrested. But if that's true, why tell conflicting lies for two weeks only to tell identical lies two weeks later if they had already decided on the 16th lie. KWIM?

Anyone have any luck with the probable cause affidavit link? I tried various tricks and nothing worked. Either the server is down or it's been pulled (at that link, anyway).
