To me, second degree is grabbing a weapon without intent, like a nearby gun on a table or something. First degree is intentionally going for the glove box for the gun, pulling out the gun, cocking it, putting a cartridge in the chamber (or whatever you do with guns), aiming it, and purposefully shooting directly at the intended target ten times. But, I'll keep listening.......

Maybe. I probably tend to think that when a middle aged adult pulls out a loaded gun in full view and starts shooting he knows what he is doing, and that is eliminating the source of his annoyance.
A warning to me would be telling the teens he was calling the cops if they didn't comply with his demand for no music.

Will be an interesting day as the trial comes to a conclusion.

I agree, the way she's explaining it, I would really have a difficult time between first degree and second degree. Not sure if he really intended to kill Jordan. Was just drunk and angry and wanted to shake him up. But he did it in a very conscious way, even getting out to continue firing as they fled. That shows awareness and intent to me.
