All of what you say is true Schmae, but also it could be that she stays with him because he provides her drugs. I guess I'm just tired of all the reasons why a mother would put her babies in the way of danger and unspeakable horrors.

A lot of women in these situations feel 100% trapped and it's very easy for all us to say ' why would you stay or let this man be around your kids'. But the reality is she was likely terrified to ' disobey' his orders. You heard him per the x saying nothing can touch him. If he believes that and he's able to convey that in a believable way, then people probably are going to fear him. He probably told her if you try to leave, try to tell, try to call the cops, I'll do xyz to you , your family, your kids, etc. Doesn't mean it's right. Just probably how it went. **speculative **

ETA For the record, I'm not saying she's blamless or that she should not be charged with negligence or endangering the child. I'm just speculating why so many women stay in dangerous situations. I wonder what the mother(s)? of his own 3 children have to say about his ' parenting' skills.

I'm sure the mother of his children is not surprised he lost it and is simultaneously thankful it wasn't one of her kids. One of the articles posted here quotes an ex-girlfriend saying he had been abusive for years - even towards his own father. I think Lonzie's mom was unaware of his history. Or maybe I'm just hoping she was.

But we know she was arrested with him and WAS NOT supposed to be anywhere NEAR him.....

They were arrested for drugs and recently!

I know she was. I referenced that in my post. If you read the arrest report, there is no mention of the kids being there. I don't think she is totally blameless, and maybe she will be charged, but as of now, with this info we have, I don't feel comfortable blaming her or assuming she knew exactly what he was capable of. I don't know why she continued to live with him and why she didn't go home. Like I said, I just feel the need to give her a tentative, partial benefit of the doubt - not a free pass.

ETA: I know I am not taking a popular stance, but I still wanted to give my 2 cents.

I also wonder why the police haven't acknowledged that Lonzie is called Arin by his family. I guess it doesn't matter in the long run. Just curious.

She was kicked out of her last place because of the drug arrest. Thats why all four of them were renting a room from his friend.

I don't know the rules for posting Facebook links. But Lonzie's Dad's facebook page has some photos where they are captioned calling him Arin.
