No, I meant he wasn't resisting the officers to get a swollen eye, so at some point he's gotten a swollen eye. I wondered if it occurred the night Arin went missing, or someone punched him the next day being it's obvious he was lieing.
 
I have yet to read through the thread but it sounds like another boyfriend strikes again..................no pun intended :(:(

Although the childs name was incorrectly stated initially it was corrected by LE. Aaron Ebron is not the missing child. He is named Lonzie Barton.

The way the story is unfolding more then likely he punched himself ....

Arin is the father's middle name, and that's what they call Lonzie, who's named after Lonna's Dad. In the beginning Arin's name was given, they spelled it wrong. His Dad calls him Arin on his fb page.

I don't think it is a copycat crime as in Ebron researched the Cummings case and decided to mimic it. A lot of those points are characteristics of many missing child cases. I think it is just a sad coincidence magnified by the lifestyles (for lack of a better word) of some of the individuals involved

Thanks for the timeline. I wonder if there is any way to find out of the kids were in the car during the gas station visit. I hope there is good CCTV for the gas station and/or laundromat.

Apparently, he is called Arin, though. Was posted up-thread and on his dad's FB he is called Arin.

Now I'm really confused! Surely WE's "ex" can't be Lonzies' mom (Lonna) that filed the complaint about stalking, rape and battery? She would be the "current" GF, right?

Unless she never left him in the first place. Which is one thing. Going on to leave Lonzie/any kid (still not sure if the 5 yo girl is her kid or his..) in his "care" is quite another, shocking thing given the serious allegations filed on July 10th.

Lonna's been with him for about three months. There's an ex girlfriend with different charges back to 2008, the mother of his three kids. Does Lonna also having charges against him? She's not an ex, she's living with him now, but the news might be as confused as me.

**This is how I have read the situation. I could be wrong, but I think this is the narrative of the ex and the charges. Everything here can be found in the various newspaper articles and police reports linked in this thread so I am not linking them again (unless a mod says I need to lol)**

The "ex" is not Lonna. It is someone else. Lonna has been with Ebron for a few months. Last month Ebron, Lonna, and another female were arrested on various drug charges. Lonna and Ebron ordered not to be around each other, but it looks like they continued to rent a room together in a friends apartment. The 5 year old is Lonna's daughter. The 5 year old and Lonzie (who goes by Arin) are the children of Lonna and her (ex?) husband who has been named in the press as Christopher Barton. Ebron, the suspect, has at least 3 of his own kids. I do not believe any of them were present or involved in this incident.

If he did sell him, and trying to make it look like an abduction, why did he say he was doing cocaine? He knew it would get him arrested. Did he sell him, or did their dealer take him if they owed money?

In three months, as I understand things, mom got with WE, started a dancing job at a "gentleman's" club, got arrested/charged for drug offences and now the BF claims her boy was abducted.

So, so sad. Poor kids :(

Sometimes in cases we get dozens of pictures of the child and it can paint the whole picture but when there are only a few and one or more show bruises , then you wonder why. Could very well be that picture was posted with a caption of ' look who fell out of the swing today' . We may never know.

I agree with this. I have plenty of photos of my 22-month old where he looks sad. And also ones where he has various bumps or bruises just from being a crazy toddler. Though I do wonder who decides what photo they use for Amber Alerts and stuff. Because I don't know if I would have chosen one with visible markings like that.

She is not supposed to be living with him....they are not supposed to be near each other as I have read because they were both arrested for drugs a few months bacj...Am I right?
