Sparky, or anybody that may know, is Michelle's family still stationed at The Barn?

Michelle had pierced ears. Did she have any other piercings? We know she had jewelry on as those pictures were shown of the ring & necklace that she was believed to be wearing when she disappeared. I wonder if search parties utilized metal detectors during their land searches...

No. I don't think her family is stationed anywhere at this point. They live just a few miles from me. I see one or two missing signs when I take my kids to school. I'm not sure if those signs are in their yard or just in a high-profile location near them.

I have concluded that whatever happened to that girl must have happened in Orlando. Isn't her ex-boyfriend a suspect? I haven't heard them mention anyone else as a person of interest or suspect.

The family hasn't been stationed at the Barn for several months. Also as far as I know the family has not lead any search efforts in quite some time. Not quite sure why...but seems they are waiting for the "next" credible tip and possibly leaving future searches for LE. JMO

Yes Dale Smith...her ex-fiance is the ONLY suspect at this point and IMO the one who is responsible for Michelle's disappearance. If you read through the various Michelle threads you will see his checkered past (arrests for murder, drugs, and domestic abuse), he was dishonorably discharged from the Marines, threatened to kill Michelle on at least one occasion, was the last to see her, lied to LE about when she arrived and left, refused a poly, set up a fake FB account and called Michelle an escort, and "coincidently" Michelle's last known phone pings were between Dale's condo (Glen Carter) and his Dad's house (Rose Blvd)...the same place Dale "established" his bogus alibi. JMO but the only thing keeping him from an arrest at this point is his ability to cover his tracks. Dale must be good at destroying and hiding physical evidence...some people major in math and science, Dale seems to have majored in how to kill and get away with it. He will slip up at some point though...he's not the brightest bulb on the porch if you know what I mean. MOO

So would many people. However it does seems as though unless you date or marry him, you are relatively safe.

That said, there is a first time for everything. And he does seem to be awfully volitaile.

I know I'd cross the street if I saw him coming.

Was Michelle as close with her father & step mother as she was with her mother & her side of the family? When I looked through older fb photos, I didn't see many of her & GP. Her step mom has been completely involved & very proactive in trying to find Michelle, plus she's straight forward in voicing her opinion of Dale & his family, so I just wonder if it's an oversight or what... It's absolutely obvious to me that GP loves & is severely worried about Michelle, so why the lack of pictures/comments?

I know, that's a great question. I wonder if Michelle's mom's family, as well as her father's family, are able to visit with the twins. If not then why? Could it be bc of how outspoken they are against Dale so he doesn't want his kids near them?

On another thread, it's discovered that a public transit bus captured video of a recently missing person. That's in Coral Springs. I wonder if OPD sought surveillance footage from mass transit taking the paths along where Michelle's phone pinged...

Oh yeah, and the investigators in Coral Springs didn't sit on that footage either. It was released as soon as they obtained it.

I was surprised by that video in Coral Springs. I used to work for a trade magazine dealing with the transit bus industry. I also live near Orlando. I have not been impressed with the local transit systems, and I would not be surprised to learn that they are not equipped with video cameras.

Good question, there were people saying they saw her on a bus early on in the case. Don't know if they were officially reported to the police, but I remember reading them in the comments of the first few news videos and again when the facebook page started.

IIRC Michelle's family via FB confirmed that the bus sighting was NOT Michelle. IMO the only way Michelle would have been on a bus after disappearing would be if Dale was driving a bus and had Michelle gagged and bound...Dale where is she?

After some observations I have made I don't think they were as close. I get the feeling though she was very close to her father.

Oh I don't get that impression at all. IMO Michelle and GP had a VERY close relationship...from what i've seen and read. I know from her FB posts...she seems like a loving and caring woman who treated Michelle like her own daughter. She and Michelle seemed to have a very SPECIAL relationship. GP genuinely seems really concerned and doing all she can to find Michelle. If you recall she was the one who posted the flyer to ask Dale where Michelle was on his little Star Wars fan club page and Dale responded via Buck Fuddy...that Michelle was a known escort and Gayle should go ask one of her many clients. What a class act that Dale! JMO but she really believes like I do that Dale knows where Michelle is.

Perhaps if you look at some of the group pages for Michelle, you'd see the "proof" you're looking for. The links have been posted throughout the threads. Most likely thread 19. I don't know for sure sorry..

The Twins birthday is today! I sure hope Dale is making it a very SPECIAL one for them considering he made sure their mother wasn't there to share it with them...

I would have to agree with you. It seems as though she was closer to her mom's side through what I've seen. It is also JMO but GP can be her biggest advocate online but that doesn't mean Michelle felt the same way. It is weird though how vocal she is but her biological mom isn't ...not sure what to make of that. I agree with te whole spotlight thing. But this is all just my two cents..
