Tammy has already been profiled on unsolved mysteries.
After reading through much of the information on the case, I don't believe Tammy was ever dropped off by the person who supposedly gave her a ride. I believe he planned the killing, murdered Tammy, and buried her somewhere (or dumped her somewhere, like in a swamp). It's amazing how many missing women have been "dropped off" after heated arguments. That seems to be the go-to cover story.
Was this creep the father of Tammy's unborn child? Most pregnant women are murdered are murdered by whomever fathered the baby, with avoidance of child support being the usual motive.
Actually, EPT started being marketed and sold in stores in 1978. It would have been widely available by 1983.

Just found this page which has a few more. I was pregnant with my son in 85, I don't remember being able to buy tests at the pharmacy lol

A Prayer for You
I said a prayer for you today,
And know God must have heard.
I felt the answer in my heart
Although He spoke no word.
I didn't ask for wealth or fame,
I knew you wouldn't mind.
I asked Him to send treasures
Of a far more lasting kind.
I asked that He'd be near you
At the start of each new day,
To grant you health and blessings
And friends to share your way.
I asked for happiness for you
In all things great and small,
But it was for His loving care
I prayed the most of all.
