The female suicide bomber was yelling for help. She was begging the officers to help her. Pretending to be a victim. Trying to lure them closer.

Just heard this on satellite. Will find link.

I like the saying. Some times I am a conservative Liberal, other times a liberal conservative FLmom. :)

Once I was a torch-bearing liberal. Now I'm conservative enough to picture death in my own bed sans boots.

"The main goal is to force France to change its stances, to escalate its campaign in Syria,” said Fahd Al-Masri, a Syrian opposition figure based in Paris. “Any terror attack carries a political message. Everyone’s priority now is to fight terrorism, not topple Bashar al-Assad, who is the reason for the birth and development of terrorism in Syria.”

"Russian air strikes have resulted in so much destruction. If these countries wanted to bomb the heartland of ISIL, they could have done so. But they still have not targeted the group's most important bases.

"This is what we do not understand. The targets bombed by French warplanes were mostly abandoned by ISIL fighters.

The former Liberal prime minister last night said political negotiations were needed to resolve Syria’s civil war and dealing with Assad, who had killed thousands of his own people, was “a price worth paying”.
“If it takes some kind of interim deal and some kind of arrangement about his future (to solve this) then it is a price worth paying,” Mr Howard said.

But Assad has to go?
Right?

I'm sorry, but I'm a bit confused. Where did you see this? I might be looking at the wrong article. The link I followed said Delaware took in children of families who immigrated illegally, and resettled refugees who arrived via other states.

I read this in an article linked earlier that showed where refugees have been settled by the government. Your message though shows that there is nothing to make sure we are safe because they can move around freely once they arrive, and we have no way of knowing if the people brought in are truly fleeing or are coming with a mission that is harmful.

Unlike the western leaders of course .. ;)

Absolutely , I posted the first link to Putin- "from pariah to saviour" here on the thread.

I wasn't going to mention D.Cameron as a lot of people will hardly know who he is!

It's mostly a chess game - that was my point.

The UK, like the US, is one of the BIG suppliers of arms to the Saudis. "We" don't want to lose that income, that's a given.

Cottonweaver, I read somewhere that they are still taking in Syrian refugees. I'll look and see if I can find the article.

I linked to one about France still taking them but I don't remember if Paris was mentioned specifically as taking or not taking them.

...and the Saudi's funded ISIS in the beginning didn't they?

Sucks doesn't it? I feel like our leaders will happily leap off any cliff the US suggests without even taking a look first.

BBM: And this practice, which is becoming far too common, by radical islamic females, right or wrong, is precisely why many citizens of the US are even opposed to Syrian refugee"widows, much less males of fighting age, coming here.

Thanks for this BBelleLA. This is so true, thought it was nothing more, nothing less, than a reference to the place/nation from where you came/live, i.e., US Homeland Security, simply means securing the US Homeland.

Crazy, crazy times we live in when the words you use are ba$tardized/determined to mean or imply anything other than the factual definition.:scared::facepalm: :gaah:

BBM--PS. I hope you know that this is not directed toward you, it is a general opinion--I enjoy reading your thoughts and opinions and have nothing but the utmost respect for you Hope4More!

Thank you. I assume you already know from our past exchanges elsewhere on WS that the respect is mutual.

The right to disgree, even vehemently, even on the beliefs most important to us, without resorting to violence verbal or lethal, is the foundation of our democracy.

The most deadly threat terrorists pose, IMO, isn't the taking of lives, but in cultivating so much fear that we are fundamentally divided and weakened by distrust of one another.

I hear you Trident.I was a liberal and now a conservative and changing from democrat to republican. When your young you think you know everything then you grow up and see reality.

Immigration rules - spouses arriving with no English skills - UK Supreme Court ruling today

A legal challenge to immigration rules that force foreign national to learn English before coming to the UK to join their spouses has been thrown out by judges. Two British women took the government to court over language checks
Husbands do not speak English so have been blocked from joining them
Supreme Court rules checks are not 'unreasonable or disproportionate'

Judges denied claims the rules infringed human rights but did suggest it could be unlawful, raising the threat of further court challenge.

OMG, LMAO, apparently one of the "subjects", arrested during the French raid in Saint Denis this morning, lost his pants and was taken into custody in only his shirt.

Ahh, but it is not just women and children. It is also young men seeking to radicalize other young men and women. If you believe the rhetoric being aspewed by the president as it being widows and orphans then I don't know what to tell you.

From looking at all the pics and video it is mostly young muslim men as refugees.

Excellent Post! :loveyou:

OT: I have totally enjoyed your running commentary on Pinks posting of excerpts (KN book), I love your passionate views about the veracity and motives involved in his writing of the book. Can't wait to get my pre-ordered copy of Juan's book!

I have been contemplating changing my voter registration to Republican. I will not tell my 86 year old father. It would break his heart.

5 Syrians in Honduras caught on fake Greek passports. How much is airfare from Syria or Greece to Honduras? They must have thought Honduras was dumb!
