I don't believe he is alive. From reading about him on Facebook and listening to the podcasts nancy grace has put out - I think the Brad clement guy hid his body or did something with it.

It's too bad we can't go back and see all of the comments on the previous FB pages. There seems to be a lot of conflicting info given by the wife and the friend. That along with the missing vm and the fathers stance on things seems inconsistent. I have listened to a little of the podcast and it's very concerning. Can anyone who was initially following the case shead more light on the initial conflicts? This is so very sad.

K9 dogs found human remains "hit" at Brad Clement's (friend) house. They are in the process of getting a warrant to dig further.

Human remains found today buried in the backyard of person last known to see Chase. My heart goes out to Chase's family....

Remains have been discovered in the search for missing veteran Chase Massner in Kennesaw, Georgia, at the home of his friend Brad Clement, the last person to see Chase alive.

CBS 46 reports that police have confirmed a body was found in the backyard of Clement’s house, though they have not yet made a positive ID.

A CrimeOnline reporter on the scene at Clement’s home saw authorities removing a body in a tarp from the backyard. Cadaver dogs reportedly picked up on the scent of human remains about a month ago.

It's important to note that the man who owns the house now didn't own it back in 2014 when Massner went missing.

CBS46 is staying in close contact with police and will bring you any new developments.

the wife no longer lives at the same home:
As for Amanda Massner, she now lives out of state with the couple's two young daughters.

It was already mentioned here, but I have just seen this story and reading back through some of the articles, there are way too many conflicting stories as to when Chase was last seen and what may have happened (seen walking away, not seen; was the BBQ for the roofers, or for Chase to invite his wife and girls; place last seen changes; etc).

[yes that is correct. Sorry I did not mention that.

I wonder WHY? And what took so long to find him? Waited from June until now to dig??! What?!?!

It is disgusting that a person can risk his life to go fight someone else's war overseas, survive, then come home and get murdered by his BFF.

According to this article from the AJC, officers recently received a tip. "Detectives were working Tuesday afternoon to secure warrants after officers received a tip that led them to the remains, Channel 2 Action News reported."

Did they not take the results of the cadaver dogs seriously until they got this tip?
