Williams was also charged with aggravated child abuse in a 2009 case involving a three-year-old boy in Russell County. Williams was accused of immersing the lower half of the boy’s body into a pot of boiling water. Williams defense was the boy pulled the water on top of himself. A jury acquitted Williams of those charges.

how the h did only the boys lower body sustain burns if he pulled it onto himself???

also from this link: "Taylor said Williams was a suspect in the case of a missing one-year-old in Alaska, but he was never charged. Taylor mention the case, but did not elaborate on it." so its a MISSING child.....

Not sure if 1 year old was ever found but this one says he was a suspect in the death.

Williams also was identified as a suspect in the death of a 1 year old in Alaska, but was never charged due to lack of evidence, Taylor said.

IT WAS ALSO REVEALED THAT THE MOTHER AND THE SUSPECT KNEW EACH OTHER; HOWEVER, THE SHERIFF SAYS THE TWO WERE NOT DATING EACH OTHER.

WILLIAMS IS ALSO CONNECTED TO SEVERAL CHILD ABUSE CASES, ACCORDING TO TAYLOR. HE WAS PREVIOUSLY CHARGED WITH ABUSING CHILDREN IN PHENIX CITY AND COLUMBUS. HE WAS ALSO A SUSPECT IN THE DEATH OF A 1-YEAR-OLD IN ALASKA, BUT THAT CHARGE WAS DROPPED DUE TO INSUFFICIENT EVIDENCE, THE SHERIFF SAID.

WILLIAMS FACES A CAPITAL MURDER CHARGE. SHERIFF TAYLOR SAID ADDITIONAL CHARGES, INCLUDING CAPITAL MURDER DURING KIDNAPPING AND RAPE, ARE FORTHCOMING.

THE INVESTIGATION IS ONGOING BY THE RUSSELL COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE AND THE COLUMBUS POLICE DEPARTMENT. HE IS DUE IN COURT ON TUESDAY AT 3 P.M.

I pray this wasn't another Shaniya. But if this case shares certain, er, similarities, I understand why a gag order was immediately sought and issued by the judge because they may still be investigating and more charges might be forthcoming depending on what they find.
 
The sheriff said the investigation continues into whether other people were involved in Kamarie's death.

"There's a lot of details that I'm not willing to disclose at this time," he said. "Because of the urgency in this case, and potential other folks that we may be looking into as suspects or offenders alongside Mr. Williams." Sound like good detective work -- they found her very quickly. How did they know to go there? Did mom give them some info on where to find him?

I'm just now getting on this thread, so please forgive if I am asking things that are already known...

I’m angry. This is my city, Kamarie could’ve been my daughter, Columbus is beyond overwrought with crime. We’re at 70 murders for the year and we aren’t a huge city. Last week a man was shot and killed on the steps of the east precinct station. We had a city-wide phone alert message sent out when a drug offender escaped a work detail but nothing for this baby. People aren’t held accountable for their actions! I realize we don’t yet know mom’s connection to the murderer but if it’s as most of us suspect, I want her charged too. Sexual predators may target women with small children but those women also have a duty to protect their kids above all else.

“I’m Kamarie Holland’s mommy and she wouldn’t want nothing in the world but to donate her toys to another little child that was in need because she was a very helping child,” said Kristy Hoskins.

Do I read this right that she was already giving away her murdered daughter's toys?
