Release of discovery done today....

<snip>

Channel 2 Action News has obtained a new list of evidence for the upcoming trial of a woman accused of killing her husband outside their son’s day care.

<snip>

The 9,233-page discovery list includes many of the same witnesses from the Neuman trial, but also includes evidence specifically geared toward Andrea Sneiderman and their relationship.

<snip>

There are also disks containing call detail while Sneiderman was in the DeKalb County Jail. The jail confirms calls are recorded. Prosecutors specifically listed as evidence at least a dozen conversations with her parents, and eight calls to a number belonging to a man named Joseph Dell.

Channel 2 Action News cameras captured video of Dell leaving the courthouse with Sneiderman, the day a judge banned her from attending the rest of the Neuman trial. Court records show Dell's ex-wife had filed for divorce three days earlier, the same day Andrea took the stand in the case. According to Dell's divorce filing, he separated from his wife last summer, while she was six months pregnant.

Dell did not return calls for comment.

The attorneys in the case are all under a gag order, prohibiting them from speaking about the case.

Hmmmmm. Very interesting.

Whether or not Andrea knew this murder was going to happen, I do not know at this point. But what I find particularly egregious is the place that it happened. Outside the day care of her child! Some day that child will learn the truth of where and who was responsible for their Father's death. Even if Andrea is found "not guilty" of conspiracy, she was having the affair that led to the murder. How sad for the children to learn this some day. If she is guilty of the conspiracy, then her children will learn this even worse truth. Not to mention the shock and fear of the other children and parents at the day care. This was a callous and selfish choice of location for the murder.

:welcome: to our group with your first posting!

:party:

Looking forward to learning more about this mystery man. The fact that his wife, who was six months pregnant, divorced him at the start of the trial is very curious.

Yes.... who is this so-called "mystery man" Joseph Deli.....and how in the world are we going to get around that gag order?

Does anybody here have a clue about why Andrea would be repeatedly calling this man while she was in jail, or how he and his wife's divorce would factor into this?

Here's what I get - a kind of timeline reversed - from this article:

- Deli and his wife separated last summer when she was six months pregnant. (Where was AS and what was she up to last summer)?

- Deli's wife filed for divorce THE DAY Andrea testified. (Why on this particular day?)

- Deli was at the courthourse THE DAY Andrea was banned and accompanied her away. (Had he been inside or outside hanging around during her testimony?)

- She made eight phone calls to Deli from jail. It doesn't say whether she made calls to other "friends", but if she didn't, the fact that she only called her parents and Deli is pretty strange.

I am wondering what the significance is of this relationship to the prosecution. Please, anybody, post your thoughts or theories as I am completely baffled here.

She couldn't kave been having a affair with Joseph Dell, could she? I mean she had two children, a husband, Hemy, her job, a big house to take care of, and the lake house. How could she have time? Unless Joseph was the real love of her life and AS was manipulating Hemy to get rid of Rusty so she could be with him (Joseph). This is getting confusing!

I scanned over the discovery document - exhaustive! - and did not find any reference to him on there. If she was having an affair with him, I'd think there would be some kind of electronic evidence seeing that she was so out there with Hemy with their extensive phone and e-mail back and forths. It just seems more than a coincidence that his Deli's wife would file for divorce the day AS got on the stand and that he'd be hanging around the courthouse to escort her....but maybe he was/is a kind of trial groupie - somebody who wanted to champion her cause during all of this? If he was an attorney, I think that would have been discovered by now. I agree, it is very confusing.

A link re: Joseph Dell.. Andrea and Rusty went to my Synagogue.

I was reading this and the thought struck me that this man does not want publicity or scrutiny, but he writes in a blog. And if I was his wife I would question, too, why Andrea could not change a light bulb herself.

I'm sorry but it just seems too pat and contrived. So his remarks about how he and she "got to know one another" and "supported one another" through their various trials can be interpreted in any number of ways.

Personally I am pretty disgusted by the whole thing, and I feel Andrea is a real player.

Hmmmm.... it could be something as innocent as a supporter; but AS history makes this suspect, at best.

When a certain friend of ours went through relationships this fast we would just say: NEXT!!

In a short period of time it was: Rusty, Hemy and now Joseph! This could be a completely innocent friendship as he states in his blog, or it could be an affair, he could be wanting some of the insurance she might get, OR he could be writing a book.

The fact that he mentions in his blog people that have an opinion on this and refers to people as "haters", really floors me. Once you are in the public eye, as thus case is, the public can and do talk about it. And whose fault is it that it is in the public eye: Andrea.

For all we know these two coud have known each other for a long time, knew of Hemy's weaknesses and manipilated him into killing Rusty so they could be together. Nothing would suprise me in this case.

Thanks for your comments above...the fact that this fellow was mentioned in connection with the State's motion for discovery led me to believe that this is something more than an innocent friendship. And I don't remember him ever being mentioned before, when the original indictment against her came down; I wonder if the investigations of her cell phone, I-Pad and e-mail and other evidence following the second search (right after HN's conviction) revealed something. For instance, he claims he was friends with both Rusty AND Andrea, and he was just supporting her in the aftermath of the murder. But if records reveal that there was a lot going on before, there would be another lie (or "misunderstanding" as she would call it), to contend with.

She supposedly has a lot of so-called supportive friends (although he stated in his blog that many of them fell away)....why was he the only one she was calling from jail?

Great post CP!

I really wish we knew WHY JD's wife left him when she was six months pregnant. Women don't do that unless it is very S.E.R.I.O.U.S. Even if the woman wants to leave, she will usually wait until after the birth of the baby. For her (and her child's sake) I hope it wasn't because of Andrea because that would be devasting for her and a nightmare for her child later in life.

Legal questions for SpeakerDave.

In the court, they put Andrea under house arrest to reside "with her" parents in Johns Creek (was that the exact verbiage, and does that make black/white if different than if it was to reside "at her parents place" in Johns Creek? And yes, I'm splitting hairs, but it is of interest!).

Her parents have purchased two townhouses, one purchased 3/19/2010 and the other 4/18/2011, that are in the same complex, and pretty much right across the street in the complex in Johns Creek off Holcolmb Bridge Road. Legally, could she and the kids live in one, and parents the other as both are small for 5 folks (~1,700 ft) and only 3 bedrooms each? Or MUST they all live in one of those townhouses.

Also, must her parents reside there full time everyday in that same townhouse that Andrea and the two children are living in, versus parents residing "occasionally" in the townhouse with them, but also across the street or their other stand alone house in Roswell on the western side of Fulton County which they have lived since 2003?

TIA

I know this was for SpeakerDave but IIRC the judge ordered her to remain under house arrest with her parents; I don't recall him specifying which house or if there is more than one house. The gist of the ruling seems to indicate she's allowed out of jail but is not allowed to live alone (with her children). So it would seem to me that if they moved from house to house she would have to go with them. Or she would not be allowed to reside in one house and they another.

Seems to me that even if they had acquired 10 properties the ruling would be the same.

Just MO

I agree with your above post, however, don't you think Andre's parents checked with the court judge before purchasing another three bedroom house? Why not just buy one house, large enough to accomadate all five of them? If she is allowed to live across the street, I, for one, will be really angry!! It will be interesting to see the outcome of this!!
