I think some lawyers do. But this one doesn't.

from the link-

We practice only criminal defense which means that our clients are represented by criminal defense specialists, not a general practice lawyer.

Sorry, I'm sarcastic and have little censorship over the material produced in my brain.

I don't find it odd, strange, suspicious that she got herself a criminal defense lawyer. I mean it isn't hard to read the writing on the wall.

Interesting. Good intentions but totally misguided MOO.

I agree, and it's all kinds of sanctimonious and hypocritical of media types to be exhorting people not to rush to judgment while at the same time they're the ones rehashing and highlighting ALL the juiciest details (just as this woman does in this article under the pretext of explaining them away) for everyone to pick over while glossing over less sensational and maybe truly exculpatory aspects of a case.

My thing with LH is I'm willing to make some allowances re things said and her behaviour in the aftermath of Cooper's death and her husband's arrest for same. However when it isn't just one or two little things that I'm expected to overlook or make allowances for but a whole list (as obligingly laid out in that article) of oddities, coincidences and weird circumstances it sort of stretches my credulity to the very limits.

JVM just showed 3 photos of Ross from his Skout account. Two of which we already have on here (bathroom one and blond lady one) and one of him wearing a suit.

If LH hadn't sought an attorney yet, her sanity would be in question. When the press says "you're next", most people lawyer up.
It's not just the press saying that. It was made pretty clear during the prelim when she was put on notice about her words and actions imo.

Right - the detective was not there -he didn't interview anyone who observed JH doing this - so it must have been on the tape! The fact that they checked and found no calls on his phone that correspond with that time AND the fact that they released this little nugget ( or was it leaked? ) - tells me that they think it significant. And I agree, if I were on the jury this - what I would call "squirrelly" behavior - would go under the guilty column. jmho

BBM - I must have missed this. Did they release the phone records, or was it part of the probable cause hearing?

Probably missed this somewhere did RH refuse to see LH when she went to visit or was she not allowed by authorities?
The testosterone thing don't know if it's the same thing but there's a black market (in my part of the world) for bodybuilding purposes.

Just stated on local news - she was inside for 36 minutes - she was allowed to "visit" with JH for 2 minutes via videoconferencing.... no face to face meeting. Two minutes is a pretty short visit in my opinion. (Maybe she was telling him she was hiring her own attorney?)......

I'm going to say something mean.. JR's Justin Beiber haircut doesn't fit his big fat face!

Could he have been online on his phone or doing something else? Or was he holding it up t his ear as if he was on a call? And where is this video. Also...was it another HD employee who walked by? The phrasing was weird by LE...i.e. "Well, let's just say another person"...

LE has his phone and has accessed his phone logs, etc. At the time of the hearing, they were still awaiting records subpoenaed from AT&T. So they had some information but not all information.

His phone logs indicated the calls testified about at the hearing (the ones at the scene of "discovery"). Which I think accounts for the alleged phone activity at the scene.

His phone logs did not indicate calls at that time of the morning during which he was driving to work. In addition RH told him there were no distracting texts or phone calls (but RH is a liar so I do not take his word MOO).

I think once the phone records come through THEN and only then LE will be able to testify with certainty any calls to or from and during what period.

But what we know so far does not look good for RH - JMO

I haven't been able to keep up with this thread moving so fast and having computer issues. Another one has succumbed to a car death. This time in my home State. Fifteen month old Benjamin died while being left in a car while his father went to work and failed to drop him off at day care. This time his father did NOT call 911 but drove him to the hospital after being in a car "for an extended period of time". Benjamin deserves as much respect as Cooper. Something is wrong with society and people need to be held accountable for their actions. No child deserves to be dealt that hand in life. Its just Cruel.

I also wondered if the phone was at his ear. My thought was maybe he was quickly attempting to alter or delete certain phone activity from his phone log once he realize LE were not being as sympathetic to his grief as he expected.

off topic: any links to the mass shooting in Houston? It's coming across the TV as a news flash :(

Hmmm... security staff, perhaps? JUST speculating - no factual basis -- that is one of the moments of testimony that stuck out as odd, like Stoddard didn't want to show his full hand just yet by revealing who this other person was.... JMO
