To me, it looks like he's mad at Tina he got caught (but I acknowledge I'm likely just seeing that based on emotion). He does look mean. :(

I have no doubt that he could indeed be mad at Tina. I'm getting the feeling that this one of those @$$hole types that would entirely blame her because (in his mind - & what *I think* might be his words/thoughts) if she would have only "listened to him in the first place" or "known her role" or not argued with him about something or have not tried to "assert herself" ... or something along those lines - that this all wouldn't have happened &bhe wouldn't be in the position he is now. ...because I feel he's that type of @$$hat that would think that way.

As always, MOO.

There is going to be a back story here on the on again/off again relationship.

I think it was premeditated. If it wasn't typical for Tina to leave her vehicle then it was done on purpose.

Has anyone been able to find any priors on this guy?

MOO

Well, if he _planned_ to use the ol' "she walked away" story, he is dumber than he looks.

Anyone have any thoughts on why Aaron would not be charged with murder. Maybe more evidence is needed before making that charge?
So far he’s charged with concealment and making false statements.

Perhaps those are sure charges and enough to hold him with until an autopsy or more answers from him or someone else?

They really can't charge him or anybody with murder until they get the autopsy results and find out how she died. Which could take a while if they have to wait for toxicology.

Probably way off, but maybe she wanted to leave, but had no car, and he wouldn't take her home?

This possibility crossed my mind.
I believe she very well may have wanted to leave; he refused to take her and this resulted in things going from bad to worse. (I get mad every time I think about incidents like this. Senseless. Tragic. Just Awful.:()

Tox can take up to 4 months. That's sometimes why local LE's call in the FBI (which I don't think was done in this case)- not so much as to get the help with investigating the case with extra manpower, but to have access to their lab capabilities which can really speed things up.

Body found.

Adams in custody, he is the male acquaintance.
Oh NOooooo
Even though we knew it would probably end like this, I was still hoping she was alive somewhere.

Thank goodness they have the "friend" in jail already...that was fast.
IS there an AA or anything giving details yet ??
I am just trying to catch up in here today.
TIA

Oh YIKES !!!
He sure looks like a mean, ornery person.
It is so sad that Tina had to cross paths with him, no matter what capacity their relationship was. Just so sad.

The Sheriff's Office and GBI Crime Scene investigators spent Friday afternoon collecting evidence at the scene where the body was found. Cochran say the remains were found in a wooded area on Imery's Clay site on Pleasant Grove Road in a rural part of Washington County.

Washington County Sherriff’s Office awaiting autopsy results in Tina Prince case

June 5, ~4:30pm
A day after Washington County investigators discovered the body of who they believe to be Tina Prince, questions remain about the events leading to her death.

Washington County Sheriff Joel Cochran told News 12, “The family has not [identified Tina’s body yet]. The crime lab will have to use forensics to legally identify the body. I’ve been told it would likely be Tuesday or Wednesday before that is done.

31-year-old Aaron Adams is charged with concealing her death and two counts of lying to investigators. No one has been charged with murder.

“Until the crime lab is able to provide the manner or cause of death, we are unable to bring that charge,”
said Sheriff Cochran. “We have the burden of proof to have the facts and/or probable cause before we can request that type of warrant.”
