It seems clear today that the defense is trying to show the denial by ALL of the Anthony family. JB pushed and pushed George as to his denial for the smell. With GA and CA and LA etc in denial looking back, they will say that KC did the same thing. They will use the fact that GA and CA etc supported her against the witnesses, and supporting their theory. I want to reach out to them and tell them to state on the stand the "yep, we perhaps thought something was "hinky", but as in this court, she was innocent until proven guilty. " They IMO are perhaps so scared of perjury, but I notice the words under sworn are very carefully chosen by George...."I believed" etc. He won't get nailed on perjury for that.........no one can question what he believed.

Lots more information in this interview -- hmmm -- did anyone else hear that GA had had a mini stroke?

I am just going back over GA testimony and grabbed some of SB testimony first. Odd that JB made a point of asking SB about GA telling him the car had been had been at Amscot.

One of his last questions.

SB said yeah, he said that.

Hmmm.

You know? I felt so odd when JB was mocking George. It was too much, almost as if he were overacting.
This whole testimony from GA has left me stunned. This whole trial so far has.

I heard a few things today that raised a red flag. Silly things. Things you would not lie about, and yet.

George told the jury that he called Amscot after he got to work, after he picked up the car. Why would he say that? SB said he told him at the tow yard he had talked to Amscot and they had told him the car had been there three days.

Why lie about this? He had every right to call about his car. And yet...

He told the jury he didn't ask SB to accompany him to the trunk. He did. In every interview he discusses the tow yard, he made certain he said SB was with him. Why lie about this? Something so innocuous and you lie about it.

This is starting to stink. :banghead:

Its three years later - things are bound to change. I also think there are fluid movements that are being picked apart second by second that seem A LOT larger actions than they are....follow me? Like the two of them are staring at each other both silently acknowledging what they are smelling, a small comment is made, one takes a step toward the trunk, raises an eyebrow and the other follows. Its a two second exchange but when asked about it - it would be "Did you ask SB to accompany you to the trunk" well the answer is "kinda" ....so it is completely normal to me that the answer could be either or. Also...it's three years later....who remembers those little details. All of the answers could be "I might have."

What George needs to do is tell it like it is.....

"We did call 911 that day."
"We called 911 THREE times that day"
"My wife even drove to the station THAT DAY"

also -

"I can only tell you that I sit here as a man who wanted so badly to believe the reason my daughter was MIA and not responding to my wife's request to bring the baby home was just angst...something that was going to blow over. Denial set in in that moment and ate me alive for the next year..."

That's just not true. He told the truth in LE interviews. Rewatch them if you do not believe me.

No, I believe you! I've watched them alot and you're correct. I should have said so about the LE interviews. And he did tell the truth. Until it got to tough for him (I guess cause Cindy got ahold of him.) And then GA did what was easiest and that was to go along with party line. I think he would still be going along with the party line if he wasn't being called a child rapist.

To me, when someone says 'surprise, surprise', it means 'figure the odds' or 'go figure' or 'what else is new?' as in that would be an obvious conclusion for peeps to make and/or, surprise, surprise they're saying what really happened.

Whether or not only GA and KC knew that Caylee drowned at that time (if true) and not CA, one can only guess. CA could be acting too for all I know or she could have
been in the dark until later on.

My hubby saw that clip last night (surprise-surprise) and he saw it as an admittance, IOW, "yep, that's what happened!"

Lots more information in this interview -- hmmm -- did anyone else hear that GA had had a mini stroke?

That was a lie ICA told a Amy H. so she could get out of taking her to pick up her new car as she had told her earlier she would do.

Recall Anthony L . . .

About George not considering KC and Caylee missing when he picked up the car-- wasn't KC talking to Cindy on the phone pretty frequently, laying out all the bs about Jacksonville, Juliette Lewis, Tampa, the wreck, all that junk? I thought they both felt like they knew (as much as they could ever know) what KC and Caylee were doing. :waitasec:
I agree with you and I wish that the State has raised this with him as well. Unfortunately, he's so emotional and confused about the process and the questioning that he keeps trying to second guess and would do better just to tell it like it is. Even if he has to explain his mistakes, he would do better to tell the truth and explain than to try to cover them.

moo

ETA - His lawyer should also council him to follow Mallory's lead. She answered "I can't recall" as to whether or not she saw either CA or GA throughout the crucial period after July 3 - 15th!

I don't think GA is not trying to explain; I think the state hasn't fully gotten to all of it yet.

Can't help but think back to GA and KC having a father/daughter moment at the jail talking about CMA.

How did KC ever get from referencing CMA having the best of all of them to accusing her father of molestation.

Makes no sense:maddening: imo

I agree and think that George is in bad need of some guidance - sure wish MN was still his attorney. Not sure how much advice JA can give george at this time. I hope he can settle down and just answer the questions because he is going to spend a lot of time in that witness seat.

Baez questions GA about not knowing KC was pregnant at the wedding. That really is weird that they wouldn't know, I'm sure we all would agree.

I don't get that either but when RP questioned him he said he told him it was a private matter and they'd handle it:waitasec:
Im a little confused but then they always seemed to buy anything KC told them:sick:
And I still wonder about Caylees paternal part of family. Did they know they had a Grand daughter, too? Or was supposed dead Fathers fam not imformed? Im of the opinion that KC didnt know who the father was but just my opinion.
I think if GA would've said that he wondered....it wouldve made it more believable. It is pretty obvious its more than a case of PMS water retention.

I am just going back over GA testimony and grabbed some of SB testimony first. Odd that JB made a point of asking SB about GA telling him the car had been had been at Amscot.

One of his last questions.

SB said yeah, he said that.

Hmmm.

I wrote this on another thread here as well. I think that the Defence is actually going to suggest that GA picked up the car and used it to transport Caylee's body. They've already made the outrageous suggestion that GA tried to frame KC so, why not throw the car into the mix as well. JA's "hypothetical" probably had the Defence chuckling today because they now know that the State hasn't fully understood the degree to which they (the Defence) are willing to try to take their STORY!

Did I miss something here...is GA on trial for the murder of Caylee Anthony? Because today in court it sure as hell looked like it.

That's exactly what I think the defense is trying to do: Put GA on trial. Because GA is the only witness who can destroy ICA's story that Caylee accidentally drowned. If they can sufficiently discredit him, then they can plant the seed of reasonable doubt. IMO this is a very cold and calculated move on the part of the DT. It's horrible, and IMO unethical, but it appears to be all they've got. Fortunately, JB is so egotistical and hostile to GA that he appears to be overplaying his hand.
