Rex Heuermann's home on Long Island has been the scene of intense activity since his July 14 arrest. On Monday police found what experts told DailyMail.com could be human remains.

Forensic cops have dug up mysterious objects in the backyard of Gilgo Beach serial killer suspect Rex Heurmann's home.

Haunting images showed the officers crowded over a hole in the ground as they surveyed what appeared to be small fragments on a board in the soil.

Some experts speculated they could be human remains, while others warned they could be from animals or something else entirely

I suppose this means IF he's a likely suspect in other crimes in Suffolk Co, his DNA can be compared? And, IF he's a likely suspect in any crimes outside Suffolk County NY, it would depend on those "state" laws (where the crime was committed) regarding comparison of RH's DNA. I guess it's slowly sinking in to my brain.

From the article above, they are already in the process of checking against codis. The found a work around by having states ensure their dna evidence for similar crimes is in codis. Then NYC can pull and do comparison matches with RH dna. That doesn’t require them to upload his to codis so it’s obeying the law.

Hunting licenses are issued by state. So a hunting license for Alaska would only be valid in Alaska. If he hunted in New York, he would need a license from NY.

• The "Hunter1903a3" account is used to send pictures of a prostitute in upstate New York between two of RH's "burner" email accounts (pg. 24 of the bail application)

- 11 December 2022: RH's cellphone is used to access the fictitious "Springfieldman9" email account for over 3 hours (pg. 17 of the bail application)

- 26 January 2023: RH is observed throwing a pizza box in a trash can outside 385 5th Avenue in Manhattan. The box is recovered by a surveillance team (pg. 29 of the bail application)

- 19 May 2023: RH is observed by law enforcement via video and field surveillance at a phone store in Manhattan purchasing additional minutes for the burner phone 347-304-2671 (pg. 22 of the bail application)

- 13 July 2023: RH is arrested outside his office in Midtown Manhattan. At the time of his arrest, RH had the burner phone 347-304-2671 (linked to the "thawk080672" Gmail account) on his person (pg. 31 of the bail application)

28th April 1997 - Peaches and Baby Doe discovered, possible date of death listed as 25th April. Possibly Asian Doe

1998 - None that we are aware of, except possibly Asian Doe.

1999- None that we are aware of, except possibly Asian Doe.

2000 - Valerie Mack disappears in the spring/Summer, manorville John Doe found 23 November and possibly Asian Doe.

2001 - None that we are aware of except maybe Asian Doe.

2002 - None that we are aware of. Although this is the year sugar bear went missing and was found murdered in November.

2003 - Jessica Taylor is last seen on the 15th July, found on 26 July.
