Interestingly, Sandra Costilla's murder occurred during a period when his first marriage was falling apart. Many killers start following a stressor in their lives.

But he hasn't been charged with those murders...that we know of. We'll know shortly, but we don't know right now.

Did any of the other victims have police records that would have fingerprints on file? I'm wondering if he chose victims from that point forward who didn't have criminal record??

I'm not a long time follower either.

Karen Vergata was in jail on Valentine's Day 1989, she called her father for his birthday and that was the last contact the family had.

It has been reported that was the day she was also released but I don't know if it's been confirmed.

Her lawyer Bob Macedonio had said earlier this week that she's on vacation with son CS and won't be returning.

This morning's new bail application in the Gilgo case is so graphic. Even beyond the DNA matches, they've got docs from his hard drive. He read John Douglas's "Mindhunter" and took notes on it — and made little mentions of things to do better "next time
