Grand Jury Indictment 3/20/14

If I was TM and/or SM, I would pray that information regarding what was taken when the search warrants were served was NOT released to the public or the media! Why? Because obviously things/evidence were taken that was enough to have grand jury indict me on murder and kidnapping charges, plus several other charges, so while I am sitting in jail and my family is complaining that they are fearful for their lives, being stalked, and harrassed, etc. then do I really want EVERYONE – PUBLIC and MEDIA - knowing that at my house they found the victim's purse, or car keys, or cell phone, or something worse yet – which I cannot bring myself to say, out of respect for the family members who may read my post. Because think about it, if they think people are already upset enough about what is already known, then how mad and upset do you think people may be after being given details, details related to evidence found, details that more than likely will be what makes my case? Just think about it...
But then again, it seems TM and SM seem to want the attention all on them; however, I don't think they like the negative attention quite as well as they liked all the positive attention of their extravagant, wealthy, rich, luxurious lifestyle that they lived prior to being locked in their cells.

Everything will come out at trial anyway. What will they do then, if knowing more info causes people to erupt? I am not really sure why information on a murder (something that happens 14,000 times a year in the US) would cause someone to harass and threaten the killer's family...

Aren't the recipients of a search warrant given it to read, and wouldn't it contain the reasons why it is being issued? If so, the Moorers know what's in it, so why the gag order on it? What am I missing?

Well..probably because this family is "special" and by special I mean... loud,obnoxious,ignorant,rude,taunting,unsympathetic to the real victim(that would be Heather,not TM or SM) and cannot...NO MATTER WHAT...just shut up. I don't think any of those qualities you described means someone should be harassed. They are all subjective too. It is one thing to argue back on FB, but taking it offline is a different manner. There are people who have done much worse (like actually killed someone) and don't get treated this way. There will always be rude, ignorant, and obnoxious people on the Internet.

You said that you didn't understand why this family is being harassed. I listed examples of POSSIBLE reasons why...I'm not saying that they should be harassed,I'm saying that they run their mouths and then expect the public to feel sorry for them. SM's family has a grasp on reality and understands that bashing the victim won't sit well with the public so they are being smart and saying nothing. Look..you feel bad for TM's family,I get that. You must've misunderstood my post as I don't believe I said TM was arrested BECAUSE of what she posted on FB. But the search warrant was regarding Alanna's murder. Alanna was killed in the Holder home, and they released a list of items they got from Holder's house. Heather was possibly killed in the Moorers' home, or her body was brought back there. IDK what Holder shooting LE has to do with it, as TX law says warrant findings are made public in all cases. If Texas finds that releasing search warrants does not harm investigations, why can't Horry County?

Yes, from a PR standpoint. LE never mentioned the Moorers' name until they were arrested. I remember when TM's post was posted onto the main FB page. If she had never posted on FB, her name would have likely gotten out anyway, but there would be nothing concrete for the public to judge her on. That is not the say that most would not think she was guilty, but I think it would be different if Tammy had not inserted herself in the case publicly. I believe it took one month before Tammy's FB post was made public, so it is not there was a rush to tell everyone that she was the main suspect. Cases need a villain to keep interest high, and Tammy made herself into a great one.

They are hated because of what they did to Heather-the real victim here. Their inflammatory posts on social media only served to make matters worse. Their actions at PTL is the root of the hatred.

If you want proof of that, you will have to look at social media on your own free time. It's right there every single day.It's rare that they miss an opportunity. They don't seem to be able to conceal their hatred for the victim(that's Heather) and her family. As far as the C's wanting pity goes. Have you not read their interviews or what was said in court at TM's last bond hearing?

It's ridiculous that she yells in court about how awful it is living with TM locked up. Oh...poor TM's locked up? Heather is DEAD...notice the vast difference in the two situations. I pity the children. They don't deserve this crazy family. TM 's family is being compared to SM's because TM's family cannot,for the life of them,grasp ANY REASON why people would be upset with them. SM's family doesn't have people upset with them. Now...what have the two families done differently? YES!! Bash the victim vs. not bash the victim. Again...vast differences. Oh...complete strangers. Well that would be the public who reads the awful things that the C's say about Heather,the victim,as well as her family. These strangers,the public, are basically mortified and angered by the C's behavior. The strangers have kids of their own and react in such a strong way because they can't imagine anyone bashing a murder victim and they can't imagine being the parents of the victim and having to deal with people like the C's. This is not the only case where the murder victim and their family is bashed....that doesn't make it right. I haven't seen too many cases where the murderer and her family publicly bash the victim. Again...we disagree.

No, as a matter of fact, I'm not interested in the social media drama. Social media is not a dependable source for information. One can't be sure just who is behind comments being made. I wouldn't want to give the commenters more of an audience than I am sure they already have. I depend on WS for any information on the case. :loser:

Yes, I have read all the interviews. The bolded quote doesn't support your statement that the C. family is seeking sympathy. Showing a display of emotion doesn't mean the person is out for sympathy. If a friend breaks down and cries, am I to assume she is seeking sympathy because she is showing emotion? I can't speak on how different the families are. I don't know either family personally.
