After High School I continued to study Photography and Journalism. It was a passion of mine. I went on to tour with several rock bands and had pictures published in quite a few national publications! It was an exciting time for me. Lots of parties, Celebrity friends, Traveling all the time, and I really had a LOT of fun! In 1995 I settled down somewhat. In 1997 I met my future husband (who is four years younger than me.) We were married in March of 1998 and started our family about 13 months later. We now have three gorgeous children. Two sons and one daughter. My husband has his own company so I get to stay at home with my children these days. My life is a dream. We travel all the time. We love to go to Disney World (anyone else visit there frequently? We'd love to talk about it w/ ya!) Last year we stayed at Disne for more than 40 days!!! (4 Different Trips...needless to say we are Disney JUNKIES!) We have a VERY nice home that we built ourselves.

I am very interested to see how the spin this, because if I recall correctly the video shows him getting out of his truck and locking it. I have a hard time believe if she was with him that he would have turned the truck off, removed the keys, locked her in, and gone into the store without her...

Phone was powered on at 3:02 AM, do not know when it was turned off


12/18 there was a voice message recovered, about a minute long, no number showed up and no audio

So, the phone was turned off on the morning of 12/18 after 1:13:55 ( I say this because of the call log above, and the testimony of the first IPhone guy that did not use the HP), and powered back on at 3:02 AM. When exactly it was powered off we do not know.
The geolocation data for photos was turned off on 12/11/2013.

That's right! Thank you for the reminder. He shut it off, locked it and it was cold December evening. Her highness would never have gone for that.

Yeah I think most of us thought (I still do) during his trial that she was not with him bc he shut the truck off so the defense must be setting it up to say that she was with him b/c it matches what his attorney said in his trial. I still don't know why that helps her specifically b/c she could just blame him saying she was home unless they have her cell records which weren't at Sm trial. Maybe they are still going for a united front. SMH this is still a roller coaster train wreck of a mess. Poor Heather.

Side note: I read a book recently called the Dinner List and in a review, was asked who my 5 people (to have dinner with) dead or alive would be. I included Heather b/c I would love to be able to ask her what happened that night. Plus who wouldn't want to eat dinner with Keith Morrison, Brad Paisley, my late grandparents and Heather? Sigh, if only.

I can't find the survellance video, but did find this:

Amelia Bethea, South Carolina Law Enforcement Division agent, testified she obtained a surveillance recording from the Seaboard Street Wal-Mart where Moorer can be seen parking his truck in a handicap space and entering the store about 1:12 a.m. on Dec. 18, 2013. He then selected a test and purchased it, along with a cigar, at 1:19 a.m., according to a time-stamped receipt, Bethea testified.

I'm trying to remember details. Didn't he park it and when he walked away the lights flashed to indicate that he used his remote to lock the door? I can't find the surveillance video from Walmart.

So good to see you Jersey! I hope we have the video somewhere in the forums from the old site? IIRC, that is exactly what happened when he parked and went in WM.

ETA: Judge Dennis would have already stopped them from this not going anywhere rambling. IMO

I think he was trying to call in question this officer's memory. But since the officer had written a report, I think that's where his memory is coming from. And when a huge event happens like this, you're going to remember details you wouldn't remember in a day to day.
 
Update from this morning:

During their opening statement, prosecutors laid out their argument that the combined evidence, all of it circumstantial, points to Tammy and Sidney Moorer as responsible for Heather Elvis' disappearance.

Christopher Helms, with the 15th Circuit Solicitor's Office, used his opening statement to describe Moorer as the "angry, jealous wife of Sidney Moorer, who was having an affair with Elvis during the fall before she disappeared."

He said Tammy Moorer "wore the pants" in their marriage, confiscating Sidney's phone and chaining him to the bed at night after she found out about the affair.

Defense Attorney Casey Brown called the trial "a square peg in a round hole," saying people had scared Elvis by impersonating Tammy Moorer in phone calls and texts.

"She’s had this dark cloud for five years," Brown said of Tammy Moorer. "She's been waiting to tell her story for five years."
