Garlitz testified that Tammy Moorer said she had a boyfriend when they got out of jail. Someone from a rock band. She said she wasn't aware of any open marriage arrangements that the Moorers had.

Tammy asked Garlitz if she had any pot. They ended up going into her room to smoke. Garlitz says since then Tammy has talked to her about Heather Elvis, after she disappeared.

Amanda Nigro is now on the stand. She works at Frontier Communications which is a internet, TV and telephone company for commercial and residential areas. She has records for a payphone located in Myrtle Beach.

Nigro testifies that a pay phone on Mr. Joe White Avenue called the phone number belonging to Heather Elvis early in the morning of December 18, 2013. Cross asked about text messages, which wouldn't show up on records since pay phones don't text.

In their cross examination, defense asks Nigro if she knows if someone were to text the payphone. She says no, no records would show it and shes not aware of anyone trying to text the payphone.

Michael Melson now on the stand. He's a founder of a company that analyzes phone records. Says he wrote the code that the company uses.

Michael Melson is on the stand now. He works for a company that analyzes cell phone software. He previously worked for NASA and as a contractor in the cell phone industry. He created a software that law enforcement agencies use across the country.

The prosecution calls Mike Melson to the stand who works for a company who has cell phone analysis software. Prosecution trying to get Melson qualified as an expert in cell phone technology and analysis. @WBTWNews13

The state is asking for the judge to qualify Melson as an expert in cellular technology and historical records analysis. The defense is cross examining him regarding that now.

I genuinely wonder at what point self-preservation kicks in - especially given his current residence, with an end in sight but still relatively far away, would he not want to cut a deal so his kids aren’t left with both parents in the joint?
